when does Savage Tide take place?

Savage Tide takes place in 596 CY, I believe.

So, looks like a pretty busy decade for Greyhawk, what with near-world destruction occuring every year or so :)

Savage Tide actually doesn't go the World Destruction route. That's not to say that if the PCs fail in the campaign that there wouldn't be major repurcussions in the world, but it's certainly nowhere near as End Of The World as Age of Worms.

Yep, I would say this is the perfect time for Spelljamming to be re-introduced to the world, so that people can have the chance to flee all that terror, death, and destruction.
