Has anyone finished the SCAP and lived to tell the tale?
WARNING SPOILERS!!!!
We died lat night in the final confrontation with Adimarkus (Spelling???) We killed one of his aspects but it killed us all to do it. After being pushed into the flamming pillar at the end of the test, Adimarkus returned (although diminished) and our paladin (the lone survivor) weak and level drained used (the better part of valor) a scroll of Plane shift to escape.
Has anyone else made it out alive??

SCAP Question:
Haven't gotten a chance to see Shackled City yet, but it brings up a question for me.
There have been things like a big Githyanki invasion, and several other big name adventures that I've seen rattling around the last few years through Dragon. Are these events canon history? In what settings? Certainly I hope not all of them...but all of them/just Greyhawk/"whatever-you-want-man,-cause-you're-the-GM"?
I've just been seeing posts for Shackled City everywhere from Eberron to Faerun and thought I'd ask.

my understanding is that it's canon in the same sense that any module existing is canon. Since it is defaulted to the Greyhawk campaign setting, but able to fit into pretty much any campaign world, it's up to the DM.
Having said that, there is that speech in Age of Worms where the PCs are advised about various omens that have come to pass, each of them calling back to some adventure from Dungeon Magazine's recent history, including the events of Cauldron shortly before its conclusion. (and also references to two other adventures that are dear to my heart, the Black Egg and the Tomb of Aknar Ratalla)

In which issue is the AOW speech? Also in which issue does the Tomb of Aknar Ratalla appear? Currently I am running SC, at the end of our first Eberron campaign I ran the Black Egg, these being a portent to the Age of Worms is awsome.
