...but I just thought of it this morning. With a followup question, as well.

I don't suppose that the other churches in Cauldron got a map treatment like Wee Jas did in the hardcover? It provides a bit of foreshadowing if the DM is able to provide a map for one of the churches straight from the book, but not the rest.

The followup: Is there any chance of getting a web-enhancement bit for the campaign path that includes player-maps of all the explorable bits from the path? This would be an awesome resource for GM's to have. [As an aside to this, a few of the early player-portraits would be cool too.]

I'm sure that the answer will be no for the fallowing reason

1: It's extream but offically all explorable parts of the AP could be anywhere in the world you are in... and all parts of the pains..

2: a little more realisly they are not going to map out all of Caldron... It has way to many Buidings and caverns beneath to map

3: the most importnat they wont have the buget... They have spent all their buget money for maps on the Hardcover and that was just sent to the editors. many adisonal maps that we see will be in the hardcover and no waised money on webenhacments that will not make any more (this is a bussness after all)

you could alwasy make your own maps up

Complete Divine depicts a temple to St. Cuthbert on page 127, and a Sun Temple of Pelor on page 169 (obviously, you'll have to substitute the inhabitants).

The Sacrificial Altar of Erynthul (page 111) would also make a good Shrine of Kord, replacing the altar with a "competition arena".

Just a suggestion. None of them are anywhere even close to the grandeur of the Cathedral of Wee-Jas, but that's also part of the point. I see Cauldron's Cathedral as the "main headquarters" for the Church of Wee-Jas in this part of the world, as opposed to, for example, the Cathedral of St. Cuthbert that's in Sassarine.

Ah, perhaps I should have been more clear.

I meant player-maps of the areas already mapped. Similar to what they are now doing with the enhancements for the magazine, just maps without labels. I'm sure that the hardcover will end up with a web enhancement--paizo is very good at that. I'm just kind of hoping for it to come out sooner.

As for the temples, I was hoping that they had already been budgeted and mapped. Yes, I could make my own. But if you get handed 3 hand-made maps and 1 copy from a magazine...wouldn't you assume that at some point you're going to be venturing into that one for some reason? It's not a huge deal, but it's a desire, and hence, I brought it up.

-Edit, after seeing Andorax's post-
Complete Divine. I hadn't thought of that. Amazing what you can forget exist when you let one of your players use the book for spell reference. Still curious as to whether they were mapped for the hardcover, but thanks for that pointer, at least.

Sorry i missunder stood part of you message... However I remeber this being a request for maps without Dm markings and they told us that it was not possable for most of the maps however with the hard cover coming out who knows...

There will be a few new maps in the Hardcover. Discounting the new map locations done in the new adventure Chris Perkins is writing for us to fit in between "Life's Bazaar" and "Flood Season", we're looking to include the following new maps:

1: A map of Cauldron after the events in Thirteeen Cages have passed.
2: A DM's regional map.
3: A map of the town hall (which can be used to stage the meeting and events that start "Foundation of Flame").
4: A map of the Tipped Tankard Tavern (which can be used to stage the events that start "Secrets of the Soul Pillars").

Alas, no maps of the other churches in town.

As for providing untagged maps as a web enhancement... got no news to report there yet. The only thing so far that I'm keen to release as a web enhancement is a PDF file of all the stat blocks for the adventure. No promises, though... we'll see.

In any event... you don't really need to show the PCs a map of the Wee Jas temple until "Soul Pillars." If you show them the map early, I definately recomend that you have some maps of other churches taken from other sources to stand in for Pelor, Kord, and St. Cuthbert to avoid giving anything away,

Long span of time between here, but I figured I might as well share what I've done myself. Maps for all four churches of Cauldron (one for Wee Jas that is identical, but more of the style of the other three--I'm no Chris West) can be found in two places.

I've uploaded them to the SCAPresources group on Yahoo (excellent idea, whoever made that), and they are on my personal website, as below.

http://www.2d12.com/downloads/

The latter also has a word document I made up for players in one of my games that happens to have a worshipper of each of the four in the group; details other main people, etc.

Hope everyone enoys.

I'll do that. Might take me until next week, since work seems to have issues with it, and I'm gone all weekend though.
