I have a ninety minute commute to work, one way, so I listen to a lot of audiobooks. Are there any that someone can recommend? I have already gone thru the Dark Tower series and all of Michael Crichton's.

I listen to the Dramatized BBC production of The Lord of the Rings once or twice a year. I think it's outstanding.

I've also listened to the unabridged audio books of The Lord of the Rings (read by Rob Inglis). He does a spectacular job of reading the books and giving voice to the characters.

Here's the ISBN codes for those titles. You can use them to find the titles on your favorite on-line seller.

The BBC dramatized The Lord of the Rings (CD)
ISBN: 0553456539

Unabridged Fellowship of the Rings (CD)
ISBN: 0788789813
Unabridged The Two Towers (CD)
ISBN: 078878983X
Unabridged The Return of the King (CD)
ISBN: 0788789848

Check out the unabridged readings of George RR Martin- The Song of Fire & Ice series. Book one is A Game of Thrones. Hands down, the best series I have ever heard!

Liberty's Edge

Off-topic:

Has anyone listened to the audiobook version of Max Brooks' World War Z? It's supposed to be really good.
