Gamers, we love to use our imagination. A large percentage of us love artwork and we enjoy lookng at it, but most of us wish we could draw better, paint better, or at least do a sketch of our charater. Why not add in a section of "How to draw." 3rd edition's PHB started doing this in their races section, which we be great if it was expanded.
There could be a small section that shows how many head lengths a dwarf is coarped to an elf. Then next time show how we can easily draw chain mail and actually have it look right. How to draw scars would be nice (acid wounds, lightening wounds, burns).
Almost every group has only one artist, and it's time to bring that average up.

That is a really good idea, but there are sites out there already. I recommend the FARP or fantasy artists resource page. Its really cool. Admittedly its slow to load.
I was gonna paste a link but its taking to long to load and i'm lazy. So google it.

This is a truly a great idea! Chain mail is so hard to draw that my characters won't wear it. Now I could go to the site listed in one of the replies, but I think it would help more gamers if it was something right in their hands. At least for me, drawing my own character makes me develop that character more. Whether it a personal trait, like being left handed, something with a story behind it, a wound or tattoo perhaps, or why they wear what they wear, a drawing section would be greatly appreciated.
