So has anyone actually run this scenario? Did anyone actually like it?
Despite being out for six months, this adventure hasn't generated it's own discussion topic, and every review I have seen of it has been abysmal. Is it really that bad, or are the reviewers just expecting it to be more than it set out to be, a straight-up dungeon crawl that could be completed in four hours?

I enjoyed it as a player and a GM. IT doesn't provide a lot of room for roleplay or problem solving which always adds nice variation within a dungeon crawl, but you're right. It does well what it set out to do. I don't know why it's gotten such criticism, but I didn't think it was terrible or anything. It's not one of my favorite scenarios, but it's far from my least favorite.

It's a pretty straight forward scenario and I'm convinced there's one specific tough encounter that's causing the bad reviews. It's not a perfect scenario, and it could use encounters that aren't combat, but of the "string of combat encounter" scenarios, this one isn't that bad.
That said, keep in mind that we're moving away from these "string of combat encounter" scenarios in the current season and I'm pushing my authors hard to remember that "encounter" doesn't always equal "combat."
