Four more Super Genius Pathfinder RPG–compatible PDFs are here!

It's time for another roundup of the latest Pathfinder Roleplaying Game–compatible PDFs from Super Genius Games!

The Genius Guide to Races of Wind and Wing presents a trio of new fantasy races—the aellar, kestrel, and silfide—suitable for use as player characters or NPCs. These races share a common trait of being able to fly to some degree. They also all come from remote—some might even say exotic—locales, making the possibility of encountering them a rarity in almost any world (and making it easier to incorporate them into existing campaigns).

In an effort to ensure these three new races have the same support as the core races of the game, The Genius Guide to Wind and Wing Racial Options expands the rules of Wind and Wing to include new alternative racial powers or alternative favored class options in much the same way that the core races are expanded upon in the Pathfinder RPG Advanced Player's Guide: at each level, a member of each race can take one of the listed options when taking a level of a specific class as a favored class, as opposed to the normal bonus of +1 hit point or +1 skill point. Oh, and it is FREE!

The rich tradition of mad scientists and natural philosophers obviously requires much more support than any single book has room to offer. Advanced Options: Alchemists' Discoveries presents 29 new discoveries, including 7 tied to two new forms of alchemy: spagyric devices and metamorphosis. With this broad set of new options, alchemists can make rockets, create homunculi, sniff out their foes, craft waxwork wings, and even transmute lead into gold.

Finally, Black Lords of the Marsh is the first installment in the new Codex Draconis line, which gives you what you need to drop dragons into your games with a minimum of effort and a maximum of options. This release presents options and alternatives for a dozen black dragons covering every age category of the obsidian lords of the swamps and marshes. Each age category also has three pregenerated treasure hoards, some alternative monster builds, and suggestions on how to build even deadlier dragon encounters.

Are there any hard copies for these books?

Not at this time. SGG began a print program last year and ran into some challenges with it, so we're restructuring our print plans.

Most likely later this year Codex Draconis: Black Lords of the Marsh will see a print version, and I hope to create Advanced Options and Races of print compilations, but exactly which of our books would go in those is subject to a lot of potential change. And in any case, those are a ways off yet.

Owen and the Super Geniuses,

Thank you for doing Codex Draconis, I couldn't resist temptation and I bought it pretty much right away.

I've only skimmed it at this time, but already I can tell this is going to be one of my favorite SGG PDFs. I've always been a fan of dragons, and this PDF is really well done.

I'm all for doing the Chromatics in alphabetical order... but then... Blue Dragons have always been my favorite chromatic dragon.

How ever you produce them, I'll be looking forward to 'em.

You are most welcome, and thanks for the feedback! As things sit, Blues are likely next...
