Yep, I'm the nostalgic type.

"Things are not always what they seem in this place."

That sums up pretty well the idea of this movie that made it so fascinating to me.

Well, also it had David Bowie's best music EVER!!!

Great character, too expensive though. However it does remind me of Neil Gaimen's recent parody of Labrynth with sock puppets. I highly recommend it.

I am oh so gleefully happy right now just having seen this item and remembering. Now I will restlessly seek out The Labyrinth and watch it about 20 times like a 5 year old until I tire of it.

You're damn right I will! While I'm a huge fan of "When the World Falls Down" and "Underground," I am not a fan of "Chilly Down" and "Magic Dance." I'm a staunch fan of the mid-70s and early 90s Bowie, though he has real gems throughout his whole career.

I could go on, but I have real work to do. Rest assured, however, that I'll be procuring one of these for myself as soon as I can.

I don't think anyone was a fan of "Chilly Down." While I saw the movie in the theatre, and adored it, if there was ever a scene where cutting it would improve the movie, it would be the one with the Fieries.

"Magic Dance" OTOH is kind of fun, but mostly because of the "hoodoo" preamble and the antics with tossing the baby.

I don't think anyone was a fan of "Chilly Down."

Gee, I thought that, second to Magic Dance, Chilly Down was the catchiest song in the movie.

(There, that ought to stir up the fire of controversy.)

My sister and my second wife (not the same person!) both enjoyed the movie for David Bowie's um.... costume.
