When the mysterious Gauntlight, an eerie landlocked lighthouse, glows with baleful light, the people of Otari know something terrible is beginning. The town's newest heroes must venture into the ruins around the lighthouse and delve the dungeon levels far beneath it to discover the evil the Gauntlight heralds. Hideous monsters, deadly traps, and mysterious ghosts all await the heroes who dare to enter the sprawling megadungeon called the Abomination Vaults!

Pathfinder Second Edition's most popular campaign yet bursts from the pages of this massive compilation, containing all three adventures in the fan-favorite Abomination Vaults Adventure Path, a dungeon-delving campaign like no other, along with support articles, rules, monsters, and more!

Content Warning: While Abomination Vaults contains typical Pathfinder action and adventure, it also presents themes of suicide, ableism, body horror, and human experimentation. Before you begin, understand that player consent (including that of the Game Master) is vital to a safe and fun play experience for everyone. You should talk with your players before beginning the adventure and modify descriptions or scenarios as appropriate.

This purchase will grant you an activation code which can be activated through your Foundry VTT account page at https://foundryvtt.com/me/purchases and access to the PDF version of the same content (both downloadable from your My Downloads page on paizo.com). Perfection

5/5

No complaints!

5/5

I've had a great experience using this module to run the AP. The maps look great and the journal entries make preparation time easy which to me is the biggest appeal of buying a premade adventure. Worth the price IMO!

Wow

5/5

Just wow. Publisher-supported VTT experiences have come so far with Foundry in particular. This is amazing.

Great maps but bad performance

3/5

I really like the new maps, they are way better than the ones in the AP, but the thing is there is way too many walls in each map, so with 4 players it brings down the performance.

I had to redraw the walls in the maps to make it work better, this unfortunately creates work for the GM. I have a i7 7700 and a rtx 2600 for reference.
The 8th floor for instance has 900 walls, which is completely crazy, foundry really slows down once you reach 600 walls.

Perfect first steps into PF2E

5/5

Loved it, make sure you check all the music included because this bundle is beautifully made I highly recommend buying it!

I don't see the sounds when I load up the module in Foundry. I don't see a module in the Foundry store called "Soundscapes" not is there one called, "Syrinscape." Syrinscape appears to be a separate sound program but it doesn't look like it runs in Foundry.

Perhaps I am just overlooking where in Foundry, but if anyone could help find the sounds that would be great.

The sounds are in the playlist tab on Foundry, or added into the specific locations as ambient

So I just bought the Humble Bundle that includes this (even though I already had all but one of the other products included), but I am having trouble doing anything with it. I’ve registered, bought, and installed Foundry, and have redeemed my code and downloaded the Abomination Vaults Foundry module. It shows as me having it when I am logged into Foundry on my browser, but when I am in the app and go into my world and try to add/apply the module, nothing comes up. I followed the directions on Foundry’s site/tutorial video but no luck. Anyone with more Foundry experience encounter this and/or have any tips on how to solve? If it matters, I am running Foundry on a MacBook.

I was having the same issue. in Foundry, go to the Add-on Modules and select Install Module. If you type Abomination Vaults into the Filter Packages bar it should pop up and you can install it. After that the instructions in the video should make more sense. Except it being the Pathfinder Beginner Box it will show up as the Abomination Vaults.

Adding onto the explanation above, since you said you have the module already. On the startup page go to the game systems tab and make sure you have the Pathfinder 2nd edition system installed and selected when creating the game world on the separate tab. Get a cool background, start the game as GM. go to the "game setting" tab and open the "manage modules" then check the pathfinder 2e: Abomination vaults module and hit save module settings. The game page should refresh itself then you may see the spalsh screen for Abomination Vaults. Dont panic if you dont. Double check on the "compendium packs" tab and find the section thats labled "Adventure" and under should be a folder titled Abomination vaults. open it. and open the pop up screens file too. This should open the intended splash screen. Below the window is a button to import the Adenture FINALLY!!! Hope this helps!

Thanks guys, so I've tried all this and the problem I am encountering is that when I am in the same world (which yes, is PF2) and go into Game Settings/Manage Modules in the app, I can not locate Abomination Vaults there. However, I do however see it as activated when logged into my account on the browser, and when I go into Compendium Packs on the app, I see Abomination Vaults folder under Actors, and it seems like I can go ahead and import individual monsters/NPCs from the adventure, but otherwise I don't see anything else, the splash page, maps, etc.

Oops, looks like I botched the quote tags on the above, sorry for any confusion

This all worked for me too. Thank you both.

I bought this through the humble bundle and the redeem code was for VTT. Is there anyway I can download a pdf version of this aswell to use outside of VTT?

Yes! It should be listed under My Account > Digital Content. On this website.

I've noticed that a lot of sounds and music in the Playlist reference specific scenes or events. I remember seeing the "how to use" page mention that there would be links and references to these audio cues, to remind the GM to play those. But those links aren't in the journal entries.

Did I miss where they're supposed to be, or would it be possible to edit the journal entries to tell me where I should be playing certain audio tracks? It's a bad feeling to find out AFTER a specific scene that there's custom music for it.

Does this module include the tokens for the creatures in the bestiaries, or will I need to buy those separately?

## Pathfinder Abomination Vaults - Release v3.1.1 ##

==============================================

This minor patch includes several small bugfixes and other improvements. Even without a reimport, the CSS fixes are definitely worth updating for!

Changelog:

# Various CSS improvements:
- The journal background image appears properly
- The journal ToC pointer icon is now an image so that it renders on Mac
- Fixed some CSS styles accidentally being GM-only
# Fixed the module thumbnail image on self-hosted setups
@ Tweaked a light's opacity to improve aesthetics of a Chapter 2 event
@ Fixed an ongoing bug where a Chapter 3 loot actor's items were being overwritten
@ Removed "link actor data" setting from two Chapter 8 NPCs
@ Added "stacks with coins" setting to all keys so that they can't be sold as easily
