i think it is best for the GM to roll initiative. Otherwise it takes 3-5 days for everyone to roll
Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

DM Azure_Zero |

I use group initiative.
noticeHag1: 1d20 ⇒ 13
noticeHag2: 1d20 ⇒ 2
noticeWitch1: 1d20 ⇒ 8
noticeCleric1: 1d20 ⇒ 13
noticeHost1: 1d20 ⇒ 15
noticeHost2: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Init Hostages: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Init Coven: 1d20 ⇒ 9
For those that failed their wisdom checks and had fear misdirect their attention some you can role play your split focus or take a round to try and center yourself (Wis check DC: 11) and know what is in the fog is not real.
Players go first then Hostages, then Coven.

Adroushan |

Adroushan shakes iff the feeling of woe. The cleric sees the two strange-looking females, accosting (what appear to be) hostages. He then takes his bow, aiming an arrow, and releasing his trust in the Angel's decision at the larger female.
longbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8
Just live 1st level...lol.

DM Azure_Zero |

Zegenva will attempt to center herself. Which I believe takes her whole turn, yes?
Yes it is a full round action
Brunhild are you ending next to one of the hags and which one?
No more waiting, Anatoli and Carth forgo their round 1 actions.
Hostages go
Vona attacks
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Eve attacks
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Hags let go and turn to the party.
I'll wait until I've got a better idea of Brunhild's position.

DM Azure_Zero |

sorry no map
Which Hag: 1d100 ⇒ 78 Annis Hag
Brunhild takes an AoO from the Annis Hag
AoO: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
Damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
??: 2d2 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2
Annis Attacks Brunhild
Atk: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
Damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Priestess cast CLW on Annis.
Witch Cast MM to Mahonrai
MagicMissle: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Players go.

Brunhild Liefdottir |

Acrobatics to avoid AOO: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Oh well. HP goes down to 4. Goes up to 6 with rage. AC now 15.
Hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Damage: 2d6 + 14 ⇒ (6, 6) + 14 = 26
Brunhild swung with a blow, that if it had hit, could have cut a raging berserker in half. Unfortunately, it was not swung with as much skill as strength.

Carth the Half-Blood |

Round 2
Carth paused to take in hi surroundings but Waited too long and suddenly his foes were moving, taking down Brunhild swiftly and brutally. Shaking his head clear Carth dashes forward and opens his mouth wide spitting forth a flash of swirling colors at the enemy..
color spray on as many of the enemy he can hit

Brunhild Liefdottir |

Ah, in that case Brunhild went down from 15 to -7HP.
Stabilize. DC10: 1d20 + 2 - 7 ⇒ (1) + 2 - 7 = -4
Down to -8. I guess I'm lucky that the hag didn't use all 3 of it's attacks.

Adroushan |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Round 2
Seeing Brunhild go down quickly, Adroushan points at her, speaking a sharp word of healing.
Cast Stabilize. Range 25', so will move if needed...Annis hags, you say..."goodbye cruel world, I'm leaving you today"...

Brunhild Liefdottir |

Brunhild’s eyes snapped open. She could barely move, given the state of her injuries. If not for Adroushan she would have surely bled out. With a heaving gasp, she shouted as loud as she could ”Run, you fools!”
+13 To Hit means they are hitting, at worst on a 6+. 1d6+7 means that they have about a 50% chance to take most of us out in one Hit. They might have multiple attacks, and because of then aoo, have reach. They also can go invisible and have healing support. This isn’t a fight that can be won. Get away while there is still time.

DM Azure_Zero |

Adroushan Gets attacked by Green Hag as he casts
AoO: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Adroushan needs a Concentration check
Brunhild even if your Stable, your KOed, so you can't talk.
So the idea of running given by her can't be used.
Carth you'll be hitting party members with that spell do you wish to proceed?
I used my clerical fire spark and assumed I missed, it was up above
a touch attack of 4 misses.

Mahonrai |

Mahonrai keeps calling the hostages to him. He uses his angelic voice, and all the diplomacy he can muster under the circumstances:
Come over here, let us help you!
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
He also keeps attacking the big one (same target as Ashlyn).
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Zegenva Delen |

Zegenva, seeing Mahonrai's attempts to get the hostages to flee, will attempt to get them to come towards them as well. "Yes, we should get out of here as fast as possible. These woods are not safe. Come on!"
Diplomacy: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
Then, noticing the green hag appear next to Androushan, she will activate Controlled Rage, boosting her Strength, and will charge at the ugly monster.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 4) + 7 = 13

Brunhild Liefdottir |

If Brunhild was standing she would have laughed at your attempts at diplomacy. Keep it up and they may turn on us. ;)

![]() |

Anatoli will also charge the green hag if able attempting to create a flank
attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

sneak attack: 1d6 ⇒ 5
channel negative energy: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Melee 2 claws +13 (1d4+4 plus weakness)
Weakness (Su)
A green hag’s claws sap strength from those she strikes. Each time a green hag hits a foe with her claw attack, the victim takes 2 points of Strength damage unless he resists the weakness with a DC 16 Fortitude save. Alternatively, a green hag can attempt to inflict even greater weakness on a foe by making a touch attack—this variant requires a standard action, and cannot be attempted in the same round the hag makes claw attacks. The opponent touched must succeed on a DC 16 Fortitude save or take 2d4 points of Strength damage. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Anatoli and Zegenva you'll need to make will saves
Oh before I forget I should of mentioned this house rule.
Cure and Inflict spells heal or damage a fixed amount.
CLW = ILW = 10, CMW = IMW = 20
I mainly have this rule since it I've been in major fights characters really need healing and get a 1 on the cure dice.
