I took up a dungeon subscription a couple of months a go and as of yet I have still not recieved any magazines in the mail! I live in Australia so I understand that I have to wait for a bit longer than the usual subscriber but I am beginning to get a bit worried.

Could you please check it out for me.

Thanks

Still no sign of 125 Vic. I am getting worried that everyone will be recieving issue 126 before I even get a chance to read 125!

Thamks for all your help so far

Delvesdeep:)

I have just noticed that 2 copies have been sent to me with my subscription. If this is the case I haven't recieved either one. I also have the Shackled City Hard Cover pre-ordered. I have recieved back copies of dungeon magazines in the past to my current address so I am a bit perplexed to what is going on.

Thankyou for your understanding

What makes you say that?

James has shipped a replacement copy of 126 out to you.

On the lefthand side of the screen in the messageboards section is a Dungeon and a Dragon Subcription cast section. Above the Dungeon Subscription Cost section is something that says Issues remaining. When I first subscribed it read 36 now it reads 34.

Which replacement issue did James send me - 125 or 126?

I haven't recieved either yet.

Thankyou once again for all your help

Oh - yes - I thought you meant two copies of the same issue. It means the copy of 125 we shipped on 6/21, and the copy of 126 we shipped on 7/19.

My mistake - he sent 125. It went out via USPS, and will probably take about as long to arrive as it took for the backissues you ordered.

Hi Vic and James,
Yes its me! Sorry to annoy you once again but I was just wondering when I would expect to recieve my copy of Issue #126(Blackwall Keep Issue)? I don't know what is going on but I took your advice and spoke to the people at Australia Post. Anyway I hope this can be fixed up somehow. I know you have both done everything you could to help me out in the past so, once again, thankyou.

Delvesdeep

P.S. I have noticed that anything sent to me that is 'large' (ie a few past additions at a time, SCHC, Fiend Folio etc) has always made it to my door while single 'small/lighter' issues have not. Is this coincidence?

Dear D.D.,

If it hasn't shown up by 09/02/05, let me know and I'll get a replacement off ASAP... for some reason, Australia's always the slowest place to ship to. I'm not surprised at all that the big things would arrive before regular subscription issues, but in general I wouldn't think that size would make a difference in things mailed directly from our warehouse. Hmmm....
Keep us updated, and sorry again about all the delays!

No need to be sorry James. I know you guys always do wahtever you can to help that's one of the reason I subscribed in the first place.

I'll keep you posted.

James and Vic,
I haven't yet recieved Issue 126 but I thought you might want to know that Issue 125 just arrived. At least I know the issues will probably eventually arrive just a couple of months late that's all.:)

If I haven't recieved Issue 126 by the 2/9/05 I'll send you another message as instructed.

Thanks once again

Dear James and Vic,

I'm getting to a point now that I believe cancelling my subscription is the only option.

I believe I have been very patient with the delays and hate complaining but I tired of waiting for a magazine that never arrives. I have only recieved 1 addition through the standard mail at that arrived a few months late.

Besides issue #125 I have not recieved any of my magazines. Whether the problem is with the Americian or Australian post the issue remains - I am frustrated with the endless problems and am not recieving the product I payed for.

There must be a solution to this. I was extremely excitied to subscribe to Dungeon Magazine for 3 years and still have 33 issues remaining but now I am just feeling ripped off.

As I have already mentioned in an earlier post I have recieved everything you have sent to me via priority post. Even if it means I recieve the magazine 'later', can you send a few additions all at once using priority post. I realize this is more expensive for you but perhaps by posting a few additions all at once this may help compensate the extra expenditure. Even if you hold off on sending one or two months additions and send 3 all in one hit using this method, I will be happy. Anything is better than nothing at the moment!

Please help me with this problem.

Michael

P.S. I also sent an adventure quiry into dungeon over 2 months a go (July the 12th) but have heard nothing in response as yet. Perhaps I sent it to the wrong address? What should I do with this?

Paizo Employee Chief Technical Officer

Michael,

While what you propose isn't exactly impossible, it would fall outside of every system that we currently have, so I fear that the service level wouldn't be acceptable either.

When we encounter repeated delivery failures for a particular address, we've found that changing the address to one served by another mail carrier, or better yet, another post office branch entirely, usually solves the problem. Is there perhaps another address we could send the issues to? If so, just change your address by clicking https://secure.paizo.com/paizo/account/subscriptions.

As for your Dungeon query, please see this thread on the messageboards for an explanation of that process and the current status.

Dear Vic and James,

I'm still waiting for issues 126, 127 and 128. Changing my email address will not help unfortunately. If sending the magazines in together can't be done then I will reluctantly like to ask you to cancel my subscription.

When I first bought the subscription I was excited because I thought I would get my copies of the magazines months in advance of my local newagency. Now I am months behind.

I think I have been very patient and have tried my best to think of ideas around the problem. I know you are trying your best and that the last few months have been extremely hectic for you but I can not keep justifying paying the money I have for the subscription to my wife when I am not recieving anything at all.

Thankyou for all your help in the past.

Michael

P.S. Could you please just credit the remaining amount left on the subscription to my credit card. Once again thankyou.

Contributor

Dear Michael,

I've gone ahead and cancelled your subscription, refunding all but the payment for 125 to your credit card. Thanks for being so patient through all of this, and I'm sorry there's wasn't a better solution available. Thanks again!

Sincerely,

James
