I love the mounted mite concept. The sculpts on the mite and the spider are both done well. This miniature pairs well with the other Mite miniature from this set.

Awesome Sculpt

Thankfully the two minis I purchased did not have any fragility issues. They match wonderfully well with the non-mounted Mites, and my players scooped them up to admire them as soon as I put them on the battle map.

The paint looked great on both and the sculpts were outstanding. More like these would be fine by me!

Mite makes right...

It's a very cool looking miniature. The paint scheme and execution on the mite was variable across the 5 I have, ranging from muddy and dark and to a crisp clean blue. The spiders are consistently clear and well painted across all 5. I must have been lucky because I have not experienced the fragility that seems to have plagued others - all mine are unbroken and don't appear fragile to me, but only time will tell.

This one was broken off from the base before I even opened the box. Luckily the store owner was nice enough to replace it with an already opened one.

Not impressed.
