While I've seen gaming paper around the internet, I've never seen any in person. So I have a question about these--would they be suitable for long-term use with or without laminate? I've got this idea of a cheap file folder with a bunch of common shapes in it that I can use dwarven forge-style. I've just never found a good (cheap) base for it.

As far as I can tell, the singles don't use the special coating that the rolls have. (You might want to check out Gaming Paper's YouTube Channel for some educational and entertaining demonstrations of how sturdy their rolls are.)

Okay, I have to say that, while I like the look and feel of the rolls, it was so much easier prepping for my game while still sitting my lazy rear end at my desk using this than trying to clear off a table to pre draw my map on the rolls.
I'm going to keep both the rolls and the singles in my GM armory from this point on. These are handy.

Wow! This way overpriced for $9.99. You could do what I've done and get way more for your money.
Go to http://incompetech.com/graphpaper/gridlined/ and make your own grid paper.
Print it out. make double sided copy
Laminate it with a full sheet laminate (preferable 5 mil).
And you have a reusable double sided 8 square(40') x 10 squares (50')flipmap of your own.
All for less than $3.00
If you're really savvy you could make different color backgrounds (stone, sea, earth, etc)

Shivok, could you do something like this? And combine them like this?
The nice thing about the singles is you can draw things out in advance, lay them out as the PCs explore the map. And when you're done with them, they fit into a document protector for the next time you have to run that encounter. (Say, at your next Pathfinder Society session.)

I can't respond for Shivok, but the sheets I make would work that way no problem. In fact, that is how I use them. I will admit I draw the maps out and save them as PDFs though so even if they were messed up on the table (GM notations, player spills drink) I just print them out again. :-)

It lists combo as an option. What exactly does a combo entail. I'm willing to spend a bit more (although I'm kind of unhappy about it) if I can get multiple packs of colors.
Combo gives you multiple colors in the pack—I'm going to run down to the warehouse and see what the precise mix is. :D
