This Three Page Worksheet is the beginning product of group dedicated to providing Gamemasters and Storytellers a way to keep up with all the details of a realm larger than a single settlement.

This worksheet, while compatible with The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, is also still very compatible with any Roleplaying Game system, or even basic storytelling.

Profits (both in money and suggestions) from this worksheet will be devoted specifically a larger, more detailed Realm Workbook, that will be distributed both in electronic and print format.

Like NSNG's other worksheets this product is saved with Adobe Reader Extended Features granted meaning you can save the sheet in an editable fashion. Many sheets print well, a few are fillable, only this sheet is fillable, savable, and prints well.

Here's why you should consider this sheet over others:

  • Developed with other GMs input
  • Good Starting Size
  • Fillable AND Savable
  • Will continue to improve based on YOUR input
  • YOUR input will influence a later related product

I wouldn't have ever thought there might be a sheet for this

5/5

After seeing this on the new releases list of Paizo's weekly product newsletter I decided to check it out, as it seemed like an interesting concept. The preview showing only the first page, I checked it out and I'm rather glad I did. Each page allows for easily organized details, be it of adventure hooks, NPCs in that nation of note, or settlements, but also allows for an era with dates-I never would have conceived writing down the date of holidays, but the sheet partially does the thinking for you, in case you forgot of something.

I'd advise it for anyone who wants a cheap-but-quality sheet to help organize your thoughts about your kingdoms, republics, and empires in-game.

EDIT: Comments on the updated version-now you can put a hex or square grid on the map, and there is a place for your nation's flag/crest/what-have-you. Infinitely better.

You requested feedback on your other products and on the description here; Aside from massive kudos, I have one suggestion in relation to this sheet specifically. Not sure where you would put it, and this is purely out of an aesthetic preference, but you might consider adding a section/a box somewhere for people to put their nation's flag/crest. I have no idea where you would put it, but more than anything take it with a grain of salt as it's not necessary.

Another purely aesthetic request, and this would ostracize more people than it would make happy, might be to add a grid to the map section, be it squares or hexagons. Granted, I can just as easily draw on them/get a clear grid sheet to go over it, but it's a thought.

My only other suggestion, and this pertains to all of your products, is to put the OGL on the last page instead of the first; kind of threw me off at first. Not sure if the OGL requires it to be within the first few pages, but if it doesn't you might put it at the end (then again, people might forget it's there and print off nigh-infinite copies of the sheet, and each time print a new copy of the OGL, so maybe it should stay where it is).

Excellent job.

The flag / crest suggestion is a good one I'll see about adding it. Also the grid will be sorta simple and give users a choice I'll append a blank grid of each type soon with simple instructions.

The OGL page is first because of how I understood the requirements of the OGL. So unless someone shows otherwise I'll have to leave that as is.

Thanks for your input I'll see to the additions.

When will the update take affect? I would like to get this worksheet; but I would like to wait and get the updated version.

I'm putting a little work into the update tonight. But remember, I'll be updating the product, not uploading a new one. You should get a notification and the ability to download the updates!

Fantastic update, I can think of nothing that could make it better now.

Did the insert-able blank maps work the way you hoped?

On a side note to users: As someone who runs linux at home (with xp in virtualbox so I can use acrobat pro) I noticed that the image fields do not work in Okular (KDE's pdf viewer) I haven't tried it in Adobe reader for linux.

If there's a pdf reader that they DO work in for linux PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I'd like to make a note of it in the next product update.

Insertable maps work like a charm; sadly, not Linux on this end, so I can't help you in that regard.

Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

If anyone else is running linux here's what I've discovered.

Okular (KDE's PDF Reader) Still doesn't support the image boxes.
Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.7 is the current Acroread for Linux. It DOES support the image boxes.
AAR 9.7 Is really ugly in KDE.

So Ultimate Campaign's Kingdom rules are more for players managing a kingdom than effects on players because of that kingdoms status. The rules aren't contrary to anything on this sheet, but they don't really build on this the way I'd hoped. I'll be adding support anyway, but it'll be pretty basic, at least at first.
