Been fiddling with them. It is really hard to calc slivers. That is one of the reasons why I put a hard limit on my versions of 1 instance of each ability that could be shared other than 2 of them IIRC.

I will say this. Yes I have seen a few successful evil characters. Some being chaotic evil even. Usually this is the case of the character is so well built and has trends of terrorizing even the party. Case and point, CE barbarian actually waltz through the paladin guards of a minor city because they decided to try and take his vampiric long sword. The only thing keeping him from killing the party was the threat of what in essence was a magical autoinjector of the strongest paralytic poison the party could get their hands on.

Story:

Tales have risen through the centuries, of creatures known as Succubus and Incubus. They are known for luring men/women of many races out of lust and desire, or even to enslave and kill.

Through time, the races of all worlds believed that Succubi could not reproduce with other races, as the Incubus themselves were infertile.

They could not have been more wrong.

Succubi were able to reproduce with humans, and only by their choice. Hidden, these children were raised by the Succubi and thought to be pure of blood themselves. Secretly, many of them were half-blooded and raised to believe otherwise.

The decision came that they could cut back on their races population of half-bloods, and many pure blooded Succubi started abandoning their children in other planes and mortal realms, assuming they would die.. only they were found by mortals, where they charmed them without the intent of harm.

Whole villages watched them grow from childhood to adulthood, charmed their whole lives by them, even as they watched them grow wings, and in most cases horns. Since they grew as humans, they do not have the same evil nature as most Succubi or Incubi, but they are still Chaotic by nature and tend to lean toward using their charm to obtain what they desire.

What will become of the planes of the world, as this new danger spreads?

Physical Description:

Succubi and Incubi tend to be very attractive to the other races.

They always grow a pair of wings as they age, usually having them fully developed by the age of 13. Many tend to grow horns, and very few grow tails. They tend to live as long as 155 years, though the average lifespan is around 95.

Otherwise, they appear human and unnaturally attractive.

Society:

They don't have their own society, as they are abandoned and raised in whatever human society they are found in. Because of this, their individual natures vary slightly by location.

Relations:

They tend to get along...

Interesting. I would say take the charm and make it a number of times equal to your cha mod a day. Also maybe take the energy vulnerability and make them either have a greater negative from the charm if it fails or have them be weak to demonic magics.

Sounds amusing.

Okay I know this is a little on the late end for this thread, but in the last game session the succubi ended up having to give two of the characters a 'sex education' crash course because they had been dancing around their attraction for each other and she was getting irritated at the flutter of emotions between the two.

There was detailed diagrams, props, and even a demonstration using her shape changing abilities. The male character failed his fort save and blacked out after suffering a high tension nose bleed, while the girl (the most innocent of the two) watched the two hour long train wreck with wide eyes and a full body blush. The succubi sent her back to her dorm after and promised to get the boy 'back into bed'. (She has not done anything to either of them, or made them do anything... but like Moxie from borderlands... she seems able to turn anything into an innuendo.)

The players loved it. It had been predicated by her having had gotten hungry and had been trying to explain 'the birds and the bees' to the school's android and getting nowhere when the girl asked what she was talking about, not actually ever having HAD the talk. It seemed almost like the character had set the course for me to run her through, and I had no choice but to follow it.

It was very well received. I further love this character's involvement in the group.

Very nice.

Don't goblin's fully mature in like 2 years? If yes keep them and train them into the perfect minions.

Can't think of anything I ban, although I do find brutal and cruel(mostly nonlethal) things to do to players who use cheap combos till they get the hint. For when I need to correct a character who just don't get it, or if I catch them cheating, a necklace of fireballs usually is hot enough to burn the impurity from my game... Nah I really don't do this unless the player is just terrible.

Am I the only one who feels for poor A? Friendzoned. Ugh.

I say that A wakes up, moves on, and finds a man/woman (still couldn't figure the genders or gender preferences by the original post) and comes back with hottie Q on his/her arm.

Not only will A find someone who actually appreciates them for who they are and doesn't feed them any "just not in that way" garbage, but they might just be a better looker, too.

Because the best form of revenge is when Q has a better pair of letters on her than the Pally...or a bigger D, you know, whatever A's into.

And if that sparks jealousy from the Pally he/she never expected would arise (those annoying friend-zoners, regardless of gender, always seem only interested when you actually move on), all the better, because now he/she actually would have to work to pull A from Q, which totally flips the script.

Agreed friendzone is terrible.

I was in a PbP game where a sexual relationship between a Summoner and his Eidolon was heavily implied. I was all red flags at first, but it was surprisingly well handled. The player in question never really shoved it in anyone's face, but used it to impressive creepiness over time.

Some highlights-

The Summoner had some sort of wasting sickness, like the Oracle curse, and it was implied that the Eidolon was slowly draining the him, but was also somehow keeping him alive past the point where he should have been dead. The Summoner would routinely fling himself into danger, and the Eidolon would protect him, heal him with Life Link, and chastise him for his recklessness. They had an epically dysfunctional relationship.

It eventually came out in gameplay that he had tried to commit suicide a few times, but the Eidolon had kept him alive, and that neither of them could die unless they both did.

The final bit of nightmare fuel was that this particular kind of Eidolon only ever died when giving birth, in sort of a mother-as-chrysalis birthing, so the Summoner was having sex with the Eidolon in a complicated sort of suicide pact.

The cherry on top was the GM slowly weaving a sub-plot into the game about a Ragnarok- style apocalyptic prophesy. Turned out the "Fenris" of the prophecy was supposed to be a creature spawned of man and monster, who would be able to walk in both worlds and who's very footsteps would open rips to the world of the dead.

Now that is disturbingly awesome world building around an odd situation.

Please do this. I love truenaming, word casting, and pretty much the rest of the variants.

Wonder what a nanite/holy combo could produce or be called...

Seems like a popular line of thought, but I've not seen any summoners that struck me as that overpowered. Maybe too much for pregenerated campaigns?

Y'know, the one where Yuna calls out a big beastie to fight the BBEG for a bit, it gets smacked down, she calls another big beastie, etc. I think they might have even been called Eidolons in that (it's been a while since I played).

Besides, pokemon trainers 6 different pokemon for different purposes. Everyone knows that! :P

They were Aeons in FFX. Eidolons were in FFIV though, and as I recall Rydia created them from her own mind, not simply received them from a place.

They were also eidolons in 9 iirc.

I would say it is reasonable to assume yes on both, but because of the morphic nature of eidolons the offspring would likely either be born as one or the other, as hybrids seem unlikely.

Cool! I wanted to post in here that I am using slivers in my campaign. There is a hook that the PC's will get next session that they can choose to take or not (that is to say, I run a sandbox campaign, so they may get distracted). They unknowingly offed the Cleric of Cthulhu responsible for bringing them back into the world in an unusual turn for an encounter. If they don't take the lead after x units of time the slivers will expand beyond their first hex and start to grow much faster.

I will post a battle report when they have engaged. The players have 3 people who have played magic (2 of which have played my sliver deck :D)

Awesome. They are actually going to make an appearance as a side story in the current PF campaign I am playing in, the DM loved them once he had lain eyes on them. That kinda makes me concerned though lol.

Ok thank you very much for the response.

This is my my system persistent tavern/hotel/mall. Here is what I have but I am trying to come up with a few other set piece characters for this place and the stores or other features that connect them. Here is what I have so far.

Inn of the Buxom Dryad Style Keep

Run by 5 neutral succubi

In the middle of the inn is an ancient oak tree which contains a dryad the owner named Korisar Ruokashen meaning Black quest from dreams of fate in autumn. Rooms are extradimensional with the building itself containing the kitchen, common room, and bath house with masseures. the second floor contains several shops, and the basement has a smithy run by a magma elemental. The inn has been in business for over 300 years. Food and drink in the common room is served via teleportation once ready.
timeline
the sisters are actually succubi that got away from their "family" before they action that made them evil happened. That was 260 years ago. The inn was opened by a man and the dryad 300 years ago and they assisted the succubi in acclimating to the actual word. the rooms were designed by an archmage that the original owner that owed him a life debt. Once the man died the Dryad became the owner of the establishment. 200 years ago the eldest of the sisters made a deal with the elemental to help provide the place with warm water and he opened a smithy. The shops and all were created by contract around the same time by a couple families for permanent room and board.

Mayolin- Eldest sister appears as a drow. Name means silver ascension

Gaewen- 2nd sister appears as a woodelf. Name means coppery red maiden

Hisuime- Middle sister appears as a tiefling. Name means jade eye

Mahzarin- 2nd youngest sister appears as a Aasimar. Name means golden moon

Gekkani- Youngest sister appears as a halfling. Name means in the moonlight

The whole theme for this place is that when it is first established on a world it seems pretty typical aside from the fact that it is always built around a yard with a large oak tree. The dryad in the tree is not always there at the establishment of it but soon after a woman comes along and falls in love with the owner and it turns out she is of fey decent and eventually joins the tree.

The sisters when the inn first appears in a new world show up as a set of siblings that play off as adoption cases that stay together. As time goes by the connections to the other versions of the tavern slowly grows and eventually visitors from other worlds(or game settings lol) appear.

I would love any help for ideas that you can give me, and thank you in advanced.

Seems interesting.

This really makes me want to get a chance to use my system persistent tavern.

Love that idea.

To wear it? Diplomacy, Intimidate, or Bluff against the succubi's Sense Motive. And the bluff check will be answered with a roll against your AC for suggesting that she's not already the prettiest being you've ever seen.

I never said you weren't the loveliest sight around. I suggested that the ring could make you look even better. Is there a maximum to "prettiness"? I don't think so.

Okay, you do have a point, however taking an arrow to the knee might help your bluff check to convince me.

Rifts Sourcebook One has some guidelines on salvaging and repairing (or even designing and building) robots, armor, power armor, and robot vehicles.

Generally, repair/modification (beyond basic patching of minor M.D.C. damage) requires access to high-tech facilities that are rare and almost always under the control of some established power bloc/organization/local government (and is usually one of the main sources of their power); so, if you have connections, you may be able to use the facility for a fee (plus the cost of any materials you may need) instead of the "full rate" for having them do it for you. Some skilled Operators (or possibly Rogue Scientists/Scholars) and Techno-Wizards may be able to get by with a smaller workshop (possibly even a mobile version in a Mountaineer A.T.V. or other large vehicle), but only for personal armor or at most some of the lighter power armors.

You are missing you what i mean by the question. It is if there are power armor suits aside from the greasemonkey power armor that are made to perform salvage and repair operations.

At best it is a 20(or what ever your game caps out at) damage boost on all hits because the deed pumps the damage and for a point it is doubled.
