That would be quite awkward slapping the party barbarian on this ass. And telling him to "go get them slugger"

If you have a Druid take Wolf Domain.

Granted Powers:
Improved Trip: You gain Improved Trip as a bonus feat.

And use.
Domain Strike: When you gain this feat, choose one domain-granted power that you can use to affect no more than one opponent. If you make a successful unarmed strike against an opponent, in addition to dealing your unarmed strike damage, you can use a swift action to deliver the effects of the chosen granted power to that opponent. Doing so provokes no attacks of opportunity.

Does this allow a free trip if you attack with Unarmed?

Could you have a chaotic neutral character, who in a public setting appear lawful good? Saving people, turning in bad guys, following all of the laws of an area to a T, if he knew that by doing so it would result in financial gain?

Thanks!

What type of action is this to create it?

Evolved Companion

Your animal companion has abilities that makes it different from others of its kind.

Prerequisite(s): Cha 13, animal companion class feature.

Benefit: Select a 1-point evolution from those available to a summoner's eidolon. Your animal companion gains this evolution. The animal companion must conform to any limitations of the evolution. For instance, only an animal companion of an appropriate size and base form can have the mount evolution.

If you gain a new animal companion, your old animal companion loses this evolution, and you can select a new 1-point evolution for the new animal companion.

Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you do, select an additional 1-point evolution for your animal companion.

If I have levels in both do they both add up for what bloodline powers I get?

Yes, but you would have to throw your target into a square you normally threaten, not one within the expanded range of the spell.

That would work. It would be a perfect spell to catch a fleeing enemy.

Ok so assuming I dip Monk or Brawler I can do it?

Assuming you hit with an unarmed strike could you use Improved Ki Throw and spinning throw?

"Your weapon elongates and becomes whip-like. As part of casting this spell, you can use this weapon to attempt a trip combat maneuver against one creature within 20 feet, and you gain a +10 bonus on your roll, after which the weapon returns to its previous form."

Can you use this with an unarmed strike?

I was thinking if I give him a focus feat then a skilled evolution. That's 15 UMD. Which seems pretty good for him casting enlarge on my character.

If I do this get an eidolon could I use him to use wands. Would this be pfs legal?

Assuming I have a barbarian with the Brawler Rage Power. Would this allow him to select feats with prerequisites OF Unarmed Strike?

"Brawler — Gain Improved Unarmed Strike while raging"

With this rage power could I now take improved grapple?

Rephrased the question

Underfoot Trip (Ex)

At 1st level, an underfoot adept learns a number of maneuvers and grabs that can cause even the largest opponents to stumble and fall. He gains Improved Trip as a bonus feat, even if he does not meet the requirements. At 4th level, and every four levels thereafter, he acts as if he is one size larger for the purposes of determining the maximum size of creatures he can trip and when determining his CMB and CMD for purposes of a trip combat maneuver.

Underfoot Trip allows a halfling to trip a character bigger than they are. Would this combine with Improved Ki Throw to allow them to throw the bigger character as well?

Thanks

I saw they made a primalist blood rager but it was banned. Havent seen any other reference

If you multiclass barbarian bloodrager... do your rage talents count both barbarian and bloodrager level or just barbarian?

Can I multiclass a fighter and a brawler?

Greater Bloodrage (Su)

At 11th level, when a bloodrager enters a bloodrage, the morale bonus to his Strength and Constitution increases to +6 and the morale bonus on his Will saves increases to +3. In addition, upon entering a bloodrage, the bloodrager can apply the effects a bloodrager spell he knows of 2nd level or lower to himself. The spell must have a range of touch or personal. If the spell's duration is greater than 1 round, it instead lasts for the duration of the bloodrage. This use consumes a bloodrager spell slot, as if he had cast the spell; he must have the spell slot available to take advantage of this effect.

1) Is this a free action?
2) Does that mean he can go bulls strength? for +10 strength at level 11?

Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Combat
All content on pages 10-11 and pages 13-17 are legal except the cannon master feat. Nothing on page 12 is legal. Nothing in the combat schools chapter (pages 18-27) is legal. All content on pages 28-47 is legal except the order of the beast, rough rampager, seal-breaker, and siege gunner. Equipment: all equipment and magic items on pages 50-63 are legal except backbreaker mail, crag linnorm plate, feather token, mammoth hide, numerian resistance plate, shadowbound chains, and imperial army greathelm.

Its on page 11. So its legal for anyone quickly viewing this thread.

Thanks Fomsie!

Is this book legal for PFS play? It has some neat options for Ranger styles.

http://paizo.com/PRD/additionalMonsters/tendriculos.html The Tendriculos does

Then whats weird is grabbing drag has the Prerequisite(s): Grabbing Style, Improved Grapple; base attack bonus +8, brawler level 4th, or monk level 4th.

Tarantula wrote:

A regular monk, tetori monk, and a maneuver master monk can not take grabbing style at 1st level because they do not meet the prerequisite of +6 BAB.

Master of many styles could take grabbing style at 1st, as their bonus feat lets them ignore prerequisites other than elemental fist.

Prerequisite(s): Improved Grapple; base attack bonus +6, brawler's flurry class feature, or flurry of blows class feature.

It says or flurry of blows. Doesn't a regular monk count

Can a Tetori monk or maneuver master take this at first level like a regular monk could?

Stacks the wrong word when talking about bonuses. I think I meant stack more in the terms of animal companion from two different classes so its a higher level? So 2 Ranger + 2 druid = 4 level animal focus?

That's one I've been wondering about actually. Can you activate 1/2 an ability? Because if not, then the Feral Hunter's Focii can't be used in conjunction with his wildshape. It's really not a great archetype anyways; it gives up all of the Hunter's best features for non-synergizing abilities of questionable worth. Sure you can summon two creatures at once, but they have to match your Focus. Hope you didn't want to summon eagles while boosting your CON or DEX! Or maybe you wanted to gain evasion; good news, you can summon not one, but two mice. As a full round action.

It does say "This physical change is a polymorph effect, though the effects of the animal focus are not."

So I would assume it would activate in Wildshape.

A ranger archetype Wild Hunter gains Animal Focus (Su)

"At 1st level, as a swift action a wild hunter can take on the aspect of an animal, gaining a bonus or special ability based on the type of animal emulated. This functions as the hunter's animal focus class feature, though this only applies to the wild hunter and not an animal companion (see shared focus, below). The wild hunter can use this ability for 1 minute per day per ranger level. This duration does not need to be consecutive, but it must be spent in 1-minute increments. He can only emulate one animal at a time."

1) Does this stack with the Druid Archetype Feral Shiftier Animal Focus? (Su)

At 1st level, as a swift action, a feral shiftier can take on the aspect of an animal, gaining a bonus or special ability based on the type of animal emulated. This functions as the hunter's animal focus class feature. The feral shiftier can use this ability for a number of minutes per day equal to her druid level. This duration does not need to be consecutive, but it must be spent in 1-minute increments. She can emulate only one animal at a time.

2) Does this stack with the Hunters Archetype Feral Hunter's Feral Focus (Su)

At 1st level, a feral hunter gains a limited ability to change her shape into hybrid animal forms. This functions as the animal focus class feature, except that the hunter always applies the animal aspect to herself, and there is no limit to this ability's duration. She can end this ability as a free action.

Thanks! Thats exactly what I was doing.

Assuming I have a War Priest who has used Divine Power to enhance his weapon with the enhancement bonus. Now if he casts Divine Power which grants a Luck Bonus does this stack?

"At 4th level, the warpriest gains the ability to enhance one of his sacred weapons with divine power as a swift action. This power grants the weapon a +1 enhancement bonus."

Divine Power Spell states "Calling upon the divine power of your patron, you imbue yourself with strength and skill in combat. You gain a +1 luck bonus."

I am very confused by this.

These two Archetypes show how the Hunter got short changed. Why would you ever choose the Feral Hunter over the Feral Shifter?

Thanks!

Does Divine Tracker and Wild Hunter stack if so would Shared Focus (Su) from Wild Hunter not work unless you were able to get a animal companion from another source?

So retraining must happen before you come to the table as a 2? Cool Thanks. I thought it was at the end of your last game as a 1 before you get the exp points.

Can I take Combat Expertise at level 1 and retrain it at level 2? I am aiming for a tripping character and want to start from level one. I could play it like that for the first two games of level 1 then change it out for before game 3 under retraining worse case scenario I guess.

I recommend replacing Improved Bullrush and Spring Attack with Improved Overrun and Charge Through.

Both feats seem a lot more fitting for the Gendarme Archetype "Mounted Terror".

*Flagged post for FAQ

Neither are fitting, actually, because a mounted Gendarme isn't the one making the Overrun maneuver. His mount is.

They are fitting feats for a mount, in other words. Or a Gendarme who hops off his horse and tries to trample people, I guess.

Shame you can't ride a mount smaller than you. Imagine a Shaonti jumping off of a riding dog then trampling people.

I think it has to do with there being a set list similiar to the monk. Then on top of that. Then you would loose a feat assuming you didnt take dodge, with spring attack.

Would he be able to do FOM in armor?

Nothing said it but real world dynamics... a man with a broken glass bottle will not have the same reach as say a man with a ladder.

I struggle to understand why the question was asked. OP, why? Was there something that said you should get reach?

Assuming he had a really long pole. Does that give him reach to flurry with?

Blackblood, a quick question, Trap Finder is that PFS legal?

Ok thanks... wasn't sure since one added options.

Can I combine those two archetypes in pathfinder Society

I wrote that wrong. Maneuver for an attack.... I meant.... ok so as it stands only if you are grappling.

Flurry of Maneuvers (Ex) Could a character with this exchange a maneuver for an attack?

Brusk has not participated in any online campaigns.
