Lowroller - yeah, I saw the points thing, thanks! I've bumped my charisma back up, got myself another spell to cast per day. It's all good! You guys will just have to deal with me bugging you all as to what happened after the sesh, then. Though it would be quite cool to have like an Adventurer's journal thread on the roll20 site, where we summarise each session, keeping a record of our travels. So I guess Nibs ate some bad Gnome food or something and got sick. ![]()
Hey guys! I have impending visitors this saturday, who I'm kind of obligated to entertain, and I'm not going to be able to make the 8.00 start. I'm really sorry about this. Are we able to reschedule the session to Friday or Sunday? If not, does someone else want to step in so you still have a full party? Though if they do, it's not fair for me to ask them to step out again for the following sessions. What does everybody think? ![]()
Thanks very much! My new traits are: Eleven reflexes, (essentially the same as reactionary, except that since it's through adopted, story-wise, it's an effect of being raised by half elves) Desperate focus (+2 concentration checks) Phew! Fingers crossed my character sheet is sorted now! Thanks for the help. ![]()
LowRoller! Thanks for the heads up! I will change my Hit die to a D6, and ammend my adopted trait so that it is legit. Do you know of any sites which list the traits I can choose from for this? As a gnome, I can choose to sacrifice Low Light Vision and the Keen Senses racial perk for Darkvision as an alternate racial trait. In terms of the Pterosaur, as I've take the Arcane Bloodline, the bloodline power at first level is Arcane Bond, which can bond you to either an item or a familiar, much like a Wizard! PS - Also, sorry for any confusion, but Bungles has now become Gumbles, as I prefer the name :) ![]()
Phew, I just finished doing my character sheet. Please take a skim, and let me know if there is anything I missed, or completed wrong. Nibs the gnome:
Bungles the Pterosaur:
Character motivation you won't find on there.
Her childhood friend suddenly disappeared one day. Nibs is looking for him, unsure if he has simply felt the call to adventure, or some ill fate has befallen him. I'll send more details to the DM. ![]()
You would make our party up to six, which I think would be ok - It's up to the DM though, how large a party he can manage. Hopefully, he'll be able to send us some campaign notes and character creation rules early tomorrow! My skype is Oldswifty -- everyone on this thread! I guess we should all add eachother. ![]()
Maybe we should just stick to saturday, then guys. That seems to be the time that the most of us can make it. If it's possible to organise an alternate group for a different day, I'm sure we can work something out, but for now it may be best if we just gather who we can for a saturday sesh. So I guess that would be DM Andy, Lowroller, Axolmotl, Reshar, TV Party, and me. If the others have a time that they are all free, we could organise a secondary group around that. ![]()
I'm used to just talking as though around a table, but I can roll with typing too if that's preferable to everyone! Pun intended :D We can always ammend the way we play as we go along to better suit our style of play. It seems people can't do Thursdays anyway. I'm free pretty much any night. I only work during the day. How about tuesdays? :D Also, sandbox sounds cool! ![]()
That time is good for me, too. I think I'm going to try a gnomish sorcerer. I haven't played a sorcerer before, so it might take a bit of getting used to, but so long as people don't mind that I'm no veteran, we should be ok. I also enjoy the rp side, so my character probably won't be terribly combat heavy, though I'll try and learn some useful spells! It seems like we have a good mix, though - some combat characters, some magic casters :) ![]()
Chatting in Skype while playing in Roll 20 sounds good to me! Also.... I have no clue about the campaign - I'm not a DM myself, just a player, so I guess we could make it whatever we want. We could create our own awesome fantasy setting, or we could work through some of the modules. I don't mind myself, I'm just excited about getting back into it! ![]()
Coolio! If you (Axolmotl) can grab your friend when he returns, and we have TV Party on our team too, then we already have a party of four! I'm currently trying to get my head around playing a magic user for the first time, weighing up what is best for a non-combat Gnome - should be fun, as my last character was a Rogue. Very different! Are you guys all okay for me to start with a lvl 1? I don't mind if others want to start at varying levels, it might make it more interesting.:) ![]()

I'm good for wednesday or thursday nights, and enjoy adventuring with moderate combat rather than pure/heavy combat! This sounds fantastic! ![]()
Short dark raggamuffin seeks other players interested in forming a roleplaying group to meet once or twice a week for high adventure and hijinks. I used to play Pathfinder with friends, until it became too hard to meet up. I'm really interested in either Skype roleplaying or Roll20 campaigns, so if anyone has one going already that they wouldn't mind me joining in with, or are interested in forming a new group, please let me know!
