Deeply loving the cover on this one. The backmatter sounds fun too - first Camazotz, now Zura. I wonder if that new vampire god Nin will be part of the backmatter for the third book? Who knows.

The entire book was incredible! Everyone involved did a fantastic job. I will admit, I'm still very curious about the story behind our seneschal and warrior of legend iconics though. Their designs, names, and titles are really fun, so I'd love to know more some day.
I haven't settled on much else but the player's guide kinda made me want to do a ysoki from one of those referenced merchant caravans. I'll keep thinking about it though.
After reading this, I get the comments now from the livestream about how it might be more... not suitable, but interesting to play this with a party that isn't all orcs. I think the ancestry recommendations here are really fun and have a lot of cool story hooks. Excited for part 1 to drop soon-ish!
I've been excited for this one since the Samo post, and the wait was worth it! This is such a fun little story. Nahoa's very charming as a character; I'm really hyped to see more of him in the sourcebook now. |
