I just finished this book, and I'll be honest when I say that I'm still thinking about it. Perhaps it's because a certain part near the end drew me close to tears, but I found it to be an interesting work that definitely conveyed the violent urgency of addressing the Godsrain, and did so well by focusing on smaller areas than the entire world. (Though I do think the view of most of the world in War of Immortals is also great and compelling.)
I wasn't entirely satisfied with the resolution (I wish it committed more to the changes it made), so I can't give this a full 5 star rating like I wanted, but I loved everything else and would adore seeing more Pathfinder novels. Justice for Kist-Aurek!
