Hello, I was trying to find an errata for this, but was not successful. In the crusader write up the following is written: A crusader gains a bonus feat at 1st level, then again at 5th level and every five levels thereafter (to a maximum of six at 20th level). But if I get a bonus feat at 1,5,10,15,20, that makes only 5 bonus feats, not 6. Is the above suppose to state "to a maximum of five at 20th level" or is there a feat somewhere that I am not seeing? Also with the crusader they receive this: At 8th level, a crusader gains the ability to confer beneficial spells quickly to a large group of allies. As a full-round action, the crusader may confer the effects of a single harmless spell with a range of touch to a number of creatures equal to half her cleric level. The spell’s range remains touch, so all intended recipients must be within the crusader’s reach when the spell is cast. Do all spells need to say touch in them or can a spell of personal also be conferred. I have a player who wants to run a crusader and is inquiring. I thought i should ask here to get a general consensus on this. Thanks everyone. ![]()
Hello, I have a question on the feat, Racial Heritage outlined below: Prerequisite: Human. Benefit: Choose another humanoid race. You count as both human and that race for any effects related to race. For example, if you choose dwarf, you are considered both a human and a dwarf for the purpose of taking traits, feats, how spells and magic items affect you, and so on. Based on how it is written, will I be able to do this. Human with racial heritage; Dwarf Dwarven war axe would be considered a martial weapon for me instead of an exotic weapon? ![]()
Hello everyone, I am not sure where to place this, so I put it here. My question is if there are player versions of the maps from the Paizo Modules? For example, the Crypt of Flame has a great GM map that illustrates the traps (T) and one way doors. I want to run this game electronically (Via Roll20) and I would like the same map, but without the numbers, traps, and other GM only references. Would I have to somehow remove them or is there one available? Thanks for a great game system and any info on the subject ![]()
I saw that when you become an arcane archer (AA) that at certain levels you get a +1 level of existing class. I also saw the box on the side that mentioned that you do not get any benefits if you where a wizard. My question is, if the elf was one lvl of sorcerer, does she get the bloodline powers as she advances in the AA class? if not, after the 10 levels of AA and you have 7 levels of sorcerer does that mean that if she goes back to be a 2nd lvl sorcerer to gain her blood line powers, but casts as a 9th level sorcerer? Also, if a bloodline power at level 1 grants 1 use per 1/2 sorcerer level, does that mean that a level 4 AA (+3 total add to existing spell casting level) the PC using that blood line power would use it twice (1/2 4 levels of sorcerer) Just trying to figure out what or how to work with the PC once they attain 10th level or if they decide to go back to sorcerer with several levels already invested from AA, how to handle the blood line powers. ![]()
I am sorry as I seem to constantly mush together my 3.5 and pathfinder facts. When someone crits with a weapon ( any +1 weap with an x2) is the damage shown as:
(1D8+Weap Ench)+(1D8+Weap Ench)+(str mod) or (1D8+Weap Ench+Str Mod)+(1D8+Weap Ench+Str Mod) As I read the info on crit, it seems to point to only the die type is actually multiplied. ![]()
I have a question (don´t I always) about the topic subject. If a barbarian can rage let´s say for 6 rounds 1/day. In an encounter he rages and enemies are converted to hamburger in three (3) rds. Does the barbarian lose the other three rds. of rage he could have used? In other words the rounds of rage have to be used consecutively, they cannot be 6 rounds in a day used at different times, correct? With fatigue, if the above example is used, the barbarian would be fatigued for 6 rds (since he raged for 3 rds) and after the 6 rds he would be back to normal or does he needs the 8 hours rest to go from fatigue to normal. ![]()
Greetings all, I was wondering if there is a Pathfinder setting similar to FFG´s Midnight setting? I played a Midnight setting game once and I really enjoyed the idea behind it. For those that don´t know about it, here is an idea of what the game setting is, think an epic war like Lord of the Rings, now think Sauron won.
Makes for a real gritty and desperate game. Anyway, any ideas if there is a Pathfinder equivalent? ![]()
Hello everyone, I have a question that I could use a good answer to :-) I am playing an Oracle with the blind curse and the GM will allow me to have an exotic (or martial) double bladed weapon to utilize. My priority is for a weapon in which I can take Weapon Finesse. My character is Chma and Dex high, so I want to take advantage of my Dex to be able to hit. Any ideas? ![]()
Greetings everyone. I would like ask for some opinions on a weapon. I am going to play an oracle with the clouded vision curse in a game where the GM is allowing some material from the WotC splat books. I would like to use a weapon in which I can take weapon finesse that has reach and is considered a bladed weapon. I found one from the eberon books called a drow scorpion chain which is pretty good, D6 damage, 10 ft reach (also usable on adjacent enemies) and can trip and disarm as a whip. From the eberon books I also found a spinning sword, similar to a short sword, but has 10 ft reach. I have also found a Lynx Paw, but about two or three variations. Any suggestions on other exotic or non-exotic bladed weapons that have reach? Just in case, it has to count as a bladed weapon for it to work, so just a whip or spiked chain won´t do it. Thanks for your thoughts. ![]()
Greetings all, I have a question. I am entering a new game where I am going to play an oracle (clouded vision curse) and the GM stated that (for whatever reason) this PC will have the Half-Celestail template. As I read thru it on the pathfinder SRD I came across this: Smite Evil (Su): Once per day, as a swift action, the half-celestial can smite evil as a paladin of the same level as its Hit Dice. The smite persists until target is dead or the half-celestial rests. The above states that I can do this once per day just like a paladin, who at 1st level does smite once per day also. The question is, does the half-celestial upon reaching 5th level can use this twice a day like the paladin and then 3/day at 7th and so on? Also on a side note, I read in of the WotC books a long time ago about some elvish blades (Light, Thin, Court). These were all finessable blades. Does anyone know of a two handed finessable blade (beside the Elvish Court Blade annotated here)? Just curious. ![]()
I have a question about the oracle´s curse, particularly the clouded vision. the Advance Players Guide states:
Does that mean that you cannot see, but that the first 30ft are in darkvision? or that you can only see up to 30ft and the rest of your "normal" sight is darkvision. Also, to get a perspective on darkvision, can you say that what you see in darkvision is like what watching old black and white television was. Thanks for the assistance. ![]()
I am not sure if I understand this correctly, but let me put the feat Cleave here and please clarify something for me: Cleave (Combat) You can strike two adjacent foes with a single swing. Benefit: As a standard action, you can make a single attack at your full base attack bonus against a foe within reach. If you hit, you deal damage normally and can make an additional attack (using your full base attack bonus) against a foe that is adjacent to the first and also within reach. You can only make one additional attack per round with this feat. When you use this feat, you take a –2 penalty to your Armor Class until your next turn. Based on what it states, "you can make a single attack" does this mean that if you are of a high enough level to have multiple attacks you have to fore go your additional attacks on a chance that you might hit your primary target and then hit a second? Or if I am a level 6 fighter with a +8 / +3 BAB and I have the cleave feat and I am fighting two creatures that if I hit one I get a free cleave attack on the second and if I hit again with my second attack do I also get to hit the second once again? |
