No posts. Organized Play character for jeremiah dodson 812.

Pretty simple, if you were going to build Geralt of Rivia from the Witcher series how would you build him? Only rules are that it should be a 20 point build and the build should max at level 15.

I've been watching the various Marvel Netflix shows and it got me wondering what the characters would be in Pathfinder.
DAREDEVIL
1. Daredevil
2. Electra
3. Punisher

LUKE CAGE
1. Luke Cage

IRONFIST
1. IRONFIST
2. Colleen Wing

Seriously. Does anyone play Gnomes as a "go to" race? Because as I see it there flavor and back story is kinda lame and mechanically they are easily the worst of the base races. Just curious if anyone likes the Halfling lame cousin and if so why? Maybe I missed something about them....

Exactly what the post says I'm looking for any help feet Straits races alternate racial traits any build points you can think of to build the ultimate magic Missile guy.

If you were going to build a character based around throwing weapons how would you go about it? I feel like the build should "come on line" by 4th, no later then 6th level to be viable.

Considering most AP's go somewhere between 13-17 should Pathfinder give classes there Capstone ability at 15th level so it can actually be used?

Not that the Wizard truely needs fixing, however I do believe that they could use a little help.
1. Not enough spells at low level. This is your characters bread and butter ability, you shouldn't have to ration it for the first five levels like a starving man on a desert island.
2. NO class should be 2+Int for skill points! What happened to the days of the knowledgeable Wizard and wise Cleric being the "sages" of the group?
3. Why the super poor survivability at low level? It's the worst of all the classes and forces low level caster to burn precious spell resources just to survive instead of to succeed.

Just looking for builds your sick of seeing. The old, tired, boring g builds that get used to often. Here's two of mine

1. Small race mounted combat builds. The rules are so broken regarding this build it's practically cheating.

2. Halfling dual welding Rogues. How many hundreds of these have been made I wonder.

Halfling dual welding rogues. So tired of seeing this character.

So my gaming group has a running joke about how much the PF Rogue just plane sucks. Even the UC Rogue is just a weak Swashbuckler in ALOT of ways. Now during one of these after game BS sessions my DM said he wants to rebuild the Rogue for his next campaign as a 6th level cast. The logic being that a master spy/thief/assassin would have a good understanding of the technology he runs up against and in PF that's magic. I'm just curious what people think of that idea and maybe what they would do for a "magic infiltrator" build?

I play with a decent sized group of very experienced gamers, with three of us trading off DMing as campaigns end, and for the last four or five years we have been playing almost exclusively Pathfinder and yet after all this time only half of us have bothered to learn the rules of Pathfinder. Has anyone else ran into this? What did you do to encourage all your players to fully understand game mechanics?

Why do all legal Pathfinder builds for a finesse based melee character restrict two weapon fighting once you get to the feat(s) that adds Dex to damage?

Simple

1. What's your favorite core race and why?
2. What's your favorite race overall and why?
3. What's a race you can't stand as a player and why?

Me
1. Half Elf. Free skill focus or exotic weapon and bonus to perception.
2. Variant race Aasimars, you can build anything and I think they feel inherently heroic.
3. Orc/Half Orc. They just don't have a lot of build flexibility IMO

How Pathfinder does staffs is HORRIBLE. What house rules or 3PP do you and your group use to fix this in your game?

Has ANYONE recieved there physical copy yet? I ordered my B&W print copy the day the PDF was avalible for sale and still have not recieve notification of it shipping. Has anyone gotten it yet?

What is your favorite classic D&D/Pathfinder setting? Forgotten Relams, Greyhawk, Dark Sun?

Need an idea for an awsome build for an E6 pirate themed homebrew campaign. All I know is it's a 20pt build and I'll have a total of 6 character levels for my build. Ideas? Im open to being melee, caster, mix, support, pure striker, controler, whatever. Im just looking for a unique intresting build.

So Im thinking of mixing book 1 and 2 of Serpents Skull and then flowing into book 3 of Legacy of Fire. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

So Im thinking of doing an AP mash up by mixing Serpents Skull and Legacy of Fire. Does anyone have any experience doing something like this, or have any good notes on either of those AP's?

Ok here is my challenge. Using only Pathfinder official products build your most bad*$$ "Batman". You can use any race and any combo of classes/archtypes to achieve your perfect "Batman" build!

So Im sick of only seeing bows being used in PF. So heres the challenge, I'd like to see a 12 level crossbow build. Assume it's a 20 point build with a dex TOTALING 18. What class, races, feats, traits (?) Would you use to build it?
