i will not run this scenario. 1) penalizes groups without appropriate character classes. 2) excludes characters classes from participation. 3) new rule set. completely unnecessary. i dont like showing up to a pathfinder game to find out that its not being played by pathfinder rules i payed money for so i could play in pathfinder society games. please write scenarios for the pathfinder game - if you want to make up a new game then by all means do so, just dont call it pathfinder.4) success is far to dependent on specific die rolls. do you have the wrong character who doesnt have the right skills? do you have the right skills but roll low once in a while?

maybe not a really bad scenario but you have to know what youre in for before you show up at the table to play. lastly, please stop making up new rule sets for individual scenarios. chase rules, debate rules, influence points, all of that stuff just slows play and detracts from the game as written.

A new rule set? Seriously? Doesnt pathfinder already have some rulebooks? Ojay, points for flavor, i guess. But really, not a good scenario if youre lookibg for sword and sorcery adventure.

Good/too many encounters

4/5

DMed this one for high tier tables. I and my players loved the story. Unfortunately, there was way too much to do in this scenario than a 5 hour PFS session allowed. The interactions with the Hellknights was a lot of fun but very time consuming with four other tactical combat encounters. I had to completely skip the haunts encounters and then abbreviate the last two big fights.

Not fun

1/5

Go to the elemental plane of earth for a job. get harassed by your mean boss and then get called into the managers office to get chewed out for being incompetent. get fired and sent back home to your disappointed Pathfinder bosses. NOT my idea of an epic fantasy adventure. the scenario forced all the PCs to make skill rolls using skills the characters didn't have. the scenario was set on the plane of earth but had no flavor - 90% of the action has nothing at all to do with the plane. the scenario sets the party up for failure. the only way the party can avoid being humiliated and fired for incompetence is if the party goes somewhere it doesn't know to go so as to defend against something that the party doesn't know is going to happen. find out what you needed to do only after it is too late to do any of it. overall, this was not a fun scenario. Don't play it. Don't run it.
