Thanks for the swift replies.

This encounter is meant to be extremely challenging. They are experienced players and should be prepared for at tough battle.

An upcoming bad guy has both of these spells in their arsenal.

It seems to me that throwing a stinking cloud on top of the pcs, followed by a fireball would be an effective tactic. Unless the fireball disperses it!

I couldn't find anything in the rules that says that fireball would disperse the cloud, however my brain tells me that the heat of the fireball could have that effect.

I don't want to screw the players, so I was wondering what the community thinks.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I just wanted to get the word out that there is a PFS group running Tuesday night weekly games here in St Neots, at the Hog and Partridge.

We already have a group of 20+ members, and run multiple tables. Let me know if you want to be part of the fun.

I was wondering, how much do you consider to be an appropriate bribe for different npcs?

For example, to bribe a corrupt official to look the other way, or to grant access to restricted information. Would the bribe amount be different if the npc was a thieves guild member, or a commoner?

When you think about it, surely it must be linked to how much that npc earns, and how dangerous it is for the npc to help. This broaches the question how much do npcs earn?

Any insight on this would be very much appreciated.

I'm sorry if the question wasn't worthy, I must have failed my perception check. Thanks again to those who were kind enough to answer without being all high and mighty about it. :)

Topic says it all really. This is my first ever post. I was asked this question when gm-ing and couldn't spot the answer in the guide.
