This is a good scenario. It has a lot of hard things in it, but if you are properly prepped, it is a cake walk. Than being said, the adjustments for 4 player and low tier are still not where they should be. (hint 1st and 2nd to last encounters) These need to be adjusted what would a 3rd lvl party normally have. But then again, 3-7s usually have this problem.
The weakest point of this one is the last encounter. It solely depends on the ability of the GM to resolve it because of the tactics and disposition of one of the creatures. So how it ends is completely up in the air and vague as to how it needs to be resolved. A little more guidance wirtten in would be great.
DAT MAP!!!!!! Interesting concept, and I love the play with Kreighton and Zarta. There needs to be more interaction like that, rather than just a Mission Impossible "do this" briefing.
Back to the map.... it was nice, but for the most part unnecessary. Especially given the nature of what the party was supposed to be doing. Nothing is more frustrating than having to draw out a map that has a minimal impact. BUT THANK YOU for providing a printable version.
My low tier group managed to hit the first contingency, which made the rest.... not as interesting as it could have been, but still playing the NPCs was fun.
Overall pretty good. Still need some work balancing between diplomatic and murder hobo outcomes. The elaboration at the end was nice, as were the rewards. Though I think there needs to be a "hard mode" for the high tier on this to make the end fight satisfying for skilled parties that were able to maximize their points, especially if there were people that were itching for a "fight".
