We are playing a campaign that is using a lot of tech stuff. We are using weapons that are counted as fire and electricity damage, all energy based. There is a rouge that attacks and gets sneak attack damage. When we fight robots, the electricity damage is increased. We can't figure out how it should work with sneak attack. Does the extra damage from the sneak attack also count as energy (fire/electric) and get increased as well?

Hope this makes sense.

Yeah, the area of dim light is what seemed like it was a gray area (pun intended). So far we have been just going with the idea that you can see anything in range if you have Darkvision (all-be-it in B/W if there is no light) and have no issue with fighting and such. I suppose we will continue that unless someone knows of where it says other wise. It makes sense to me I suppose cause things that give someone Low-Light Vision instead if you Darkvision if you already have Low-Light Vision.

So I just saw and had a question if anyone might be able to answer it for me. Currently building a druid and was looking at the Animal Companion page. It shows that at lvl 3 the Animal Companion gets a +2 natural armor bonus, and in section down below it says it is an improvement to their existing bonus. So that means it adds to it. If they have a bonus of +1, at lvl 3 it is a total of +3 yes?

I understand all of these things. The main thing I am trying to figure out is, if you only have Darkvision how well can you see in Dim Light? Because with Low-Light Vision you are able to see clearly in Dim Light. You could read normally in Dim Light if you have Low-Light Vision. And I understand that if a race has both Low-Light and Dark they have no issue at all, but a creature with only Darkvision in an area of Dim Light. Are they only able to see clearly as a normal human would until the light ends and then they can see with Darkvision?

The reason behind crit hits are that you hit them in a vital spot or exceptionally hard. Since it is still just a single hit, your extra dice added still only count as one because they are not happening multiple times. The strength or bane or enhancement additions are all part of what a weapon does to the enemy physically so they are included in the increased calculations.

So there is probably a thread about this already and I'm just missing it. When a character is in a situation that is low-light, but has Darkvision does that mean they have a difficult time seeing in the reduced amount of illumination? I ask because there is a race (Syrinx) that have both Low-Light Vision and Darkvision. I always thought that with Darkvision came the ability to see in low-light conditions.

If possible I would appreciate the cited page (we have players that love to argue about rules they don't like haha)
