I'm sorry but Paizo dropped the ball, with a hammer, on their foot. I actually liked the core monk and reading the unchained is just wrong for the most part.

Flurry of Blows: should have kept with the bab = to the monk level.
Will save: this was so much better as a good save instead of bad (screw the advantage roll, though it is good)
BAB: should have stayed at medium if this is what caused the will to take a dive.
HD: the d10 is actually awesome for the monk but the monk getting BAB and will screwed to do it? I'll take my d8 buddy.
Ki Powers: THIS is the biggest bull-s&#%e ever. The powers are good, but either the ki cost or the level requirements just kill it (on top of the still small ki pool).
Style strike: not bad though gaining more uses per round equal to the amount of attacks you can FoB would be better over the levels.

The biggest issue would be running the removing iterative attacks with FoB. Would this function the standard way OR the way TWF works (which sounds like you can only get six attacks in instead of 7 if you have a fast BAB. If FoB runs through the TWF style, omg we are going to see misses left and right.

I don't know if this is where i need to post this question but the group's Rogue and I have a question for Rogue Talents under the catfolk. Under the catfolk archetype, it says the following:

Rogue Talents: The following rogue talents complement the cat burglar archetype: fast stealth, quick disable ; convincing fakes, dodge trap ; fast picks terrain mastery .

+Bold mine.

Now, according to the book, convincing fakes AND Dodge Trap are suppose to be in ARG, however either the Rogue or I can find it either in there or in any other book.

Now is this an error and those are not there, is it a typo to something else, or is it in the ARG. If it is in the ARG, can someone point me to the page(s) that contains them please?

That would be a nice add-on XD thanks. Still need help figuring out the CR rating for it and the opposing caster level against a Dispel on it.

not sure if this should go here or not but here's my question. I'm trying to make a trap that is a halfway harmless prank down a long corridor that's 10' wide.

What i'm trying to do is have it so there are 2 pits that can't be disabled unless the whole trap is. however in between these two pits (10 ft. deep btw) is a 10' by 10' area that PCs could be on safely. the pits and this safety area are covered by an illusion-like spell. Should they step on a flooring tile before the trap area, the illusion floor over the pits and safe area slightly ripple.

There are multiple ways to get past this:
1) Acrobatic stunts with large hand rings hanging from higher up the wall.
2) Detect Magic and Dispel Magic. (Though dispelling the magic should only have a 25% chance of working for a PC at 5th level) Should they dispel it, the floor becomes solid trapping anything in the pits.
3) go through/jump over the pits to get past.

So any help on the CR and how this would actually be described and such would be helpful.


Does anyone know when it is expected to come out to either to this site or to game stores?
