Yes, three regular slots to prepare spells in, one spell slot to prepare a spell from the specialty school. In addition, the bonded item allows the wizard to cast a spell in their spellbook without the normal preperation proccess.

Thank you

Hello All,

I am a new DM and trying to understand what my player is telling me. Okay he I a Level 2 Wizard with INT of 18. Under the allowed spells he can take for the day says two(2) Level 1 Spells, but he gets a bonus spell due to INT being high. I know the arcane bond gives him one as well. On the third paragraph on page 79 says if they are specialist wizard he gets an extra Level 1 spell if it is from his specialist school. So that means he can have five Level 1 spells at Level 2 correct?

Thanks for the help.

I have tried to talk him out of it, but he wants to play Wizard...I have told him when we play to stay in the back! Thank you all for the wisdom on this and now I need to guide/teach him. He is a smart guy so he will pick it up quick.

I am helping him build it so that is what I will help him do. Thanks

Hey Everyone,

I have a buddy who wants to play pathfinder with us. This is his first game and he wants to play a wizard, but he asked me what I thought. So I want to set him up were he won't feel lost. I think a wizard could be a bit much for him. So it leaves me to which one is easier for a noob wizard or sorcerer?

Thank you

Hello Everyone,

I play with my buddies and I love it, but I was wanting to get some more game time. Is there somewhere I can look to see if there are any games going on in my area?

Okay cool thanks blashimov I will look into those also.

Sweet I am going to do a Human Reach Cleric thanks BadBird!

What I mean by Warpriest is based off a two handed weapon build that I saw and that is what they called their build. I didn't know it was a class, but good to know. We have a guy picking fighter and I believe he is going sword and shield. Would a two handed weapon be a bad choice? If I went human I could go back and forth between two handed and S/S correct.

So I am a noob to pathfinder and we are about to start over. I am wanting to run a cleric, but having issues picking which route to go.

So would a Dwarf or Human make a better Cleric?

Also when choosing your role for front line which one would be better a War Priest or Sword and Shield?

Thank you

Thank you all...it is hard getting away from thinking 40K!

So I searched saves, but couldn't find what I was wondering. So I am new as well. So lets say a goblin hit a player with a club does that player get to make a saving throw?

Thank you for your help.
