Hello, I have been trying to purchase 3 different PDFs.

I select the payment method and go to place your order. I click the Place Your Order orange button and that brings me to a second, similar screen with a message about what will happen when I place my order. I, again, click the orange Place Your Order button; I get the spinning Icon that something is trying to work and then, nothing. I can click that button all day and nothing happens.

I have send 2 emails, spaced a month apart. I have made several phone calls over the last month and the voicemail is always full.

Please, I am requesting a response that someone knows that I am having an issue.

PS I am sure my payment method is fine as I was able to purchase a 2nd edition beginners box.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Ditto for me with ordering PACG core set and Goblin adventures.

Any information or explanation would be welcome. I also sent an email earlier this week, screamingeagle_101@yahoo.com.
Thanks
Steve

"THAT WAS AWESOME!!!"

Thank you so much for your hard work and perseverance in spending so much time to relate this amazing story. I love reading it, although I have not been able to follow it regularly.

Thank you. Thank you so much.

So this is my problem: either under-preparing, and not knowing what to do when my players ask me questions, and then fumbling with answers, looking them up, and boring everyone to tears while I flip pages in books... OR, overpreparing and spending more time in exposition and storytelling than in actual gameplay, choices, and combat, and boring everyone to tears while I ramble on and on and on.

Hi Lisa Marlene...great job of DM'ing (as far as I can tell) and storytelling so far! Thanks for sharing.

My .02, you can't be over prepared, more prep is always good, and if you don't use it all, it can be recycled for use in a later session. As you said when you were underprepared, you didn't have the info to answer questions. So if you have prepared a ton of stuff, just use it to answer questions, no need to ramble on about background and such unless they seek out the info.

Sounds like the kids are having fun, my 6 yr old is on and off about D&D on paper, but loves adventure computer games.

Enjoy!

Heh - a party without tengu, half-drow/half-dragons and changelings? How do you guys expect to survive with nothing more than humans, elves and dwarves???

Seriously, good to see a party made up of player characters rather than cartoon characters. Look forward to hearing how things go.

You know, if I wasn't newly married having just bought my first home, I'd seriously consider moving up there and interning just to get in on some of these games...

heh...You and me both sister!

That sounds awesome!! Glad your kids are enjoying it so much! My 6yr old and I have a 5E game on pause right now. He doesan't really ahve the attention span for it yet. We'll see.

Enjoy!

Thanks guys. Long time since I checked in here. I have sent the Library of Congress a request for info on the article, we'll see what they say. No idea on the author. Good idea on the publisher, i will look that up.

If I find a copy, I will forward it to you guys.

Thanks again for your suggestions.

Resurrecting this post in case anyone else has any insight as to where I might recover this article, or even better, someone who might have a copy of the article itself.

Anyone? Anyone? Buellor?

Good evening Vic,

I am an initial subscriber, and I don't remember seeing those two promo cards in the box set, are they coming in a later shipment? How were they packaged? I assume as a promo they were packaged separately, but we all know what happens when we assume.. :)

You guys are doing a great job, thanks for all the great products.

NeonParrot, where are you planning to host? How often do you want to play?
Seems like there are quite a few gamers here that want to join, have you already created a group and are no longer looking?
Or is there still a chance to get in teh game?

Thanks

Scarab Sages

Hi all....I am in Hyattsville, 10 min walk from PG Plaza Metro, and I can host as well. I can only play 1-2 times a month though, given the 2 year old that runs my schedule. Friday nights are best for me, but let me know what you all come up with, and maybe I can make it work.

In DC, on Capitol Hill, htere is a gaming store called Labyrinth at 645 Pennsylvania Ave SE, 202.544.1059.
I don't know if there are any RPG groups that play there, but they do offer a bulletin board to post LFG notices.
I live in College Park, and haven't had any luck finding a PF game locally, but the Pathfinder Society is pretty active if you want to go that route.

If you find/found a group needing one more player for 1-2 times a month, let me know!

Thanks, and good luck,

Steve

Hi all ... Well, Soluzar, Billz and Xyro, you all seem to be close to DC on the west side, and I am in College Park, and there is another new to DC gamer who posted on this board yesterday, so that makes 5 of us ... Sounds like a game group!

I have a 2 yr old, so am looking for a 1 or at most 2 times a month game, I have plenty of room and parking to host, or we can rotate the location depending on the month.

My email is screamingeagle_101@yahoo.com, if any of you are interested in discussing the possibility of getting together.

Hope to hear from you ...

Hi all ... Saka, welcome to DC, I hope you find a group, I am also looking for a group in the College Park area. If I discover/create one, I'll let you know.

BYC, I would love to recover info about PFS activities in the eastern DC/College Park vicinity.

Thanks,
Zhap

Hi all...

Way back in the late 1970's when I started playing AD&D 1.0, my Mom saw an article titled "That Damned Gnome" in some engineering magazine at work. It is an excellent article about roleplaying and D&D and was just great reading. I have been kicking myself for 25 years for losing the copy I had. Fruitless searches on the internet bring me here, to the home of gamers worldwide, hoping someone may have a copy. I would say it was printed after 1976 and before 1983.

If anyone knows of a copy, or a good place to search engineering magazine back issues, please let me know. Thanks,

Steve

Smuggler named Arumra, hangs out at Fatman's Feedbag, owns a fishing boat re-done to allow smuggling instead of fishing. Still has fishing eqpt and small space for catch, but most of space has been re-done to hide verboten cargo. Will transport passangers for 5 gp a head, if danger to him 15 gp per head. Transporting cargo costs differ depending on value of cargo, 15-30% of value is reasonable...to him.

My group used him to scout thistletop, then remembered that one of the PC's was a former pearl diver whose friend owns a fishing boat!

When my PCs headed to the glassworks they were shadowed by a gang of kids who copied them (toy bows, sticks tucked into belts like swords, waving arms about going "Kazam!", one even had a trinket from his parents shelf thst looked like a holy symbol and kept on doing his "serious face" to be like the party cleric).

They had a hard time shoo-ing the kids away, but were very glad to have kept them from the factory.

I'm so sealing this idea! Thanks

LOL...yeah, me too!

Every time I think I am doing okay as a DM, I read one of these forums and realize how far I have to go.

Any of you great DM's live in Miami so I can play in your game???

Scarab Sages

While I understand the frustration at meeting a monster that is difficult to overcome, I think that makes it more memorable and exciting.

On another tack, one of the first things I tell my PC's when I DM a campaign is that someties you are going to encounter things, or at least see things, that are out of your league in terms of killing.
I try to run my campaigns in a "realistic world" manner.
It is a living world, and monsters of high power travel around it the same way the PCs do. Just because you see a stone giant when you are level 3 doesn't mean that it is weakened or somehow a CR3 encounter. If everything you meet can be easily overcome, where is the adventure? Why bother playing? This, of course, is only my opinion, YMMV.

Is this module set in or near Xin-Shalast from Rise of Runelords Path? The reviewer seems to hint that it does, but I want to be sure before I purchase.

Thanks

Is this module set in or near the Xin-Shalast portion of the Rise of the Runelords Path?

The first review seems to indicate that it does, but I wnat to know for sure before purchasing.
