She moves quickly to the creature attacking Zabu, and over her Mother's shouted protestations that only she can hear, she touches it with her Katana and channels the fury of her ancestors through it.

This only targets "living creatures" and does mental damage so it probably doesn't do anything, but you never know! Regardless, it pushes her curse up to Moderate

I don't think anyone has crafting? Unless anyone has an ability to substitute a skill we might be in trouble. Or if we can try untrained we can have one of our 12 INT brainboxes (Durg and Drak) try? I can offer a +1 with Heroism. If you make the check assume Fen casts that on you

Fen examines the chart, and tries to understand what the Cu Sith is trying to tell her.

Fen speaks loudly, and tries to surprise them with her words to cut through the din.

"But the truth is, we don't know yet. Shouldn't we offer her the benefit of the doubt, the same consideration any of us would want?"

"She seems strange to us because she is a traveller. She has travelled further than I can imagine, and doesn't Desna teach us that the traveller is blessed? That we should offer them hospitality, and learn from them? We can help her go home, and end all of your troubles."

She makes eye contact with Kistur when she mentions the troubles.

"Just let us do that"

She listens patiently, trying to understand the situation when confronted with so many concepts that are alien to her.

"Revecka, Lumna says she needs our help. That prototype she mentioned, we need to try it. Lumna said that there's a password, can you give it to us?"

Fen's jaw drops at the reveal of the artificial heart, and she's so shocked it takes her a moment to respond.

"We-" she looks around to make sure she's not dreaming "We've already collected some items from the laboratory, are these what you need?"

After she presents the items, she asks "I've never heard of anything like this, it could help so many people. Will you and Dr. Treju share this wondrous magic?"

"And I am Zhao Fen". Fen bows, but briefly as she is concerned with the woman's health.

If it's alright Fen would have done her retributive strike the first time it would have applied, which I think would have been green's first strike. She wasn't in a position to strike herself, but he'd have had 11 resistance to it, so I think he'd be at 43/124?

Fen sees the incorporeal form of her ancestor Zhao Li floating on the other side of the harpy, miming a katana strike. His long mustaches trailing in an unseen wind. She copies his form.

Fen's most efficient healing is refocus -> lay on hands for 30HP each 10 minute chunk. She can do Durg after her first natural medicine, then Zabu after the second. Then she'd need two herself. So either 50 minutes total to get everyone to full, or 40 minutes if Zabu declined?

When Fen refocuses, she performs a simple cross-legged meditation while praying for Tsukiyo's guidance.

With a glint in her eye, Fen touches a small sphere of water embedded in her katana, and a spout of water appears harmlessly in the hallway behind her. At the same time she becomes mistlike, and walks through the jelly, passing completely around it and reforming on the other side!

This is casting spout from her Greater Perfect Droplet, then using its ability to pass through enemies

If the oozes don't attack, she'll start picking up papers, but if they do she'll scream about that being a bad idea :)

Fen peers at the strange tableau as well, trying to piece together what she's seeing.

"Those papers might be useful..." she whispers to the others.

Fen gets more and more concerned while wandering around the manor, and Cicero's explanations to little to put her at ease.

She touches Zabu and Drak and though they see nothing, Fen sees the wispy insubstantial form of her ancestor spirits protecting them from harm.

Resist Electricy 10 for 10 minutes on the two of them. She only gets two, sorry Durg!

She then quietly draws her ghost-touch katana in two hands in case these scholars have unleashed things from the shadow plane and stands behind Durg.

"I'm sorry you've had to experience that. I had a very similar vision myself, and we're here to try to put things right. If it's OK we'll come back and check on you when we leave town to make sure these episodes have stopped."

Fen looks uneasy. When they're alone she explains her concerns

"Kistur's vision was eerily similar to my own, but he had quite a different interpretation. We need to learn more, and with haste, I hate to think of the psychic stress everyone in this town must be under."

"Thank you Mr. Radu, that's very helpful. We've had reports of headaches in this area, have you experienced anything like that? Any blackouts or such? We're hoping to provide aid, if we can"

Fen takes a moment to collect herself.

"I saw some sort of creature in a dark room. I knew it was alien in some sense. It was in an metal enclosure crackling with electricity. A kindly woman in her fifties was offering the creature a syringe with a rounded tip, and it somehow filled it with tendrils of light which seemed to please the woman. The creature was called..."

She pauses like trying to recall a memory from years gone by...

"Lumna, that was it. Lumna felt guilty about having hurt ... Dr. Treju, and they were afraid too. I saw a manor too, presumably that of the Ardis Scholars?"

"Could it be that this one creature's captivity is the cause of all this? The Scholars have a lot to answer for if that's the case, that poor thing"

As she touches the key, Fen sees the spirits of the Zhao family swirling around her, siphoning off its energies, though others see only their effects as Fen's hair whips around her and small objects in the room topple over. The spectral form of her mother Zhao Meifeng hovers in front of her and grasps the key at the same time that she does, a reassuring smile on her face.

Fen bows when she sees the venture captain, and again to each of her companions.

"Zhao Fen, it is an honour."

Fen is a young Tian-Shu woman, wearing beautiful jade-green full-plate worked with intricate gold and white filigree. The amour is knocked and scratched in places, but clearly well-tended. Even inside the inn her tightly bound pony-tail bobs back and forth as if in an unseen breeze, but she seems unconcerned by it.

She has a katana sheathed at her left hip, and another strapped to her back, and a green-and-white crescent moon holy symbol around her neck. She steps subtly to one side as she indicates her travel companions.

"And these are..."

Zhao is her family name so she goes by Fen, and she has the Paladin's reaction Retributive Strike which she will always use whenever she can.

I don't play much PFS (I think my last game was at the last Paizocon). With just three players are we looking at "Hard Mode" for this?

Fen bows as her ancestors look on, all uncharacteristically agreeing with her decision.

The spirit of Fen's ancestor Zhao Shuo, the rotund and amiable old wizard, has a serious look on his face as he moves quickly through the series of motions to channel the energy of the Zhao clan.

Fen relaxes and allows her body to natural echo his movements, ignoring the attacks of the zombies, but she does manage a subdued "Wahoo!" when Drkynbrakal kills the mummy.

Again the Zhao spirits manfiest, whirling around her in an indistinct cloud of soothing words and appreciation of life.

I don't think I've ever progressed my curse twice in the same turn before, but I can't see anything in the rules against it at a quick glance.

Fen doesn't have any special way to see in darkness. If the whole area is in darkness she'll cast light on her katana, but if she can see (or if it was dark on the way here and she might have already cast it), she'll sigh at Drkynbrakal's impetuousnous and run up into the fray. I've moved her but I'm on my phone so can't easily draw a path. I don't think she can quite get a flank on the mummy, but at least she can provide it with another target
