Good job for Paizo for trying to make things right.

I got this order way back in November 2016 in order 4123293 and put the book up on my shelf. I just started to run the campaign as an off campaign and we finished the first session, so I looked ahead and it looks like pages 17 up to page 32 are repeating, instead of pages 33-48. I'm sorry it took this long for me to look at the book, but is there anything I can do to get a replacement version?

What would be some existing deities/beings that grant spells in Golarion that would grant the Occult domain?

I've now been able to play this class twice now. First was in Wrath of the Righteous, and then again in Strange Aeons. Both times, it's been very fun, and it doesn't even really feel like I'm playing the same class, due to the spirits that I have with both (though, I do have an archetype on one). So much fun versatility.

Got my GM to sign off on letting me play a pactmaker for Wrath of the Righteous. However, one issue that I think may come up is that gaining new spirits will be very tedious, as we won't have too much downtime. I haven't finished reading everything yet, but is there a way to expedite learning new spirits, or is it a blanket length of time?

Just got mine in the mail! Gotta read it, but it is massive!

Probably Pactmaker, as the Binder was always my favorite. Others are always cool too, but being the best is always fun. <o/

And bought. Super excited to get it in the mail and, when a character slot opens up, play one!

From what Dario has said, Paizo and the OGS are the only places that will have the hardcovers; DriveThru's tech is still messing up Grimoire prints, so for the time being we can't offer the book there. (Don't know if that will change.)

But it's close! Very, very close.

Awesome! Can't wait to get the book. Always have loved this class in 3.5 and Radiance House's port of it.

Updates on the hardcover?

Any information about what the Westcrown Devil prestige class does? Wanna see if I should cancel group tonight to see if I should use it to rewrite Chammandy or her brother to using it.

What all do the council of thieves get? Medium spirit is neat, but what else?

That Council of Thieves bit is a little too late for me (over halfway through book 6 of that module right now), but it'll be neat nonetheless. Looks like a good 18 organizations to get new information on. Can't wait for this book!

So looking forward to this and using bits and pieces in my Curse of the Crimson Throne game.

It's almost like Daemons, Demons, Devils, Angels, Archons, Empyreal Lords, Azatas, Archedevils, etc all start in the first five letters of the alphabet and skew the numbers a bit. :P

In either case, the amount of CR20+ monsters in this book has made one of my GMs immensely happy, since his main bit of work was custom making almost every monster. With this, he doesn't have to do everything by hand. In particular, he was impressed by the Elder Wyrm and glad he can run a monster without having to stack a bunch of templates onto it.

- What's the primal aura effects of each empyreal lords?

- What is the specific CR for each of them?

- What are the domains and subdomains included in the book?

- Arshea - Will save or be overwhelmed with euphoria. Black Butterfly - No sound can pass it. Ragathiel - Allies can use two uses of his smite evil/4 uses of lay on hands to smite evil.

- Arshea - 29 Black Butterfly - 28 Ragathiel 26

- Dark Tapestry Subdomain (Void), Dragon (scalykind), Entropy (Chaos), Fear (Evil), Judgment (Law), Revelry (Chaos), Scalykind, Stars (Void), Tyranny (Law), Venom (Scalykind), and Void

Anyone else have their favorite monsters from the book?

The Quintessence Golem, Charon, Trelmarixian and all of the Wild Hunt.

The Wild Hunt was a massively awesome surprise that I did not think that I would love as much as I do.

What about Charon or Trelmarixian did you like? :)

Charon is a cool mix of flavorful abilities, while also being super scary. He feels as if he definitely has earned his CR, by being able to take on any that really try to harm him.

Trelmarixian is even better, though. I currently have a character who is an oracle of him and everything about him is how I envisioned him, but more. Predecessor's Rage is one of the most fitting abilities that I have seen in a very long time (though, there are a lot of other abilities in this bestiary that are really good as well). He fits his concept of famine so well, and all of his bits and pieces work so well together. A lot of it is icing on the cake, such as even having Tiring Critical to his full spell list. And, the bit on how the horseman have their CRs made it even better, I feel. Normally, I would be a bit disappointed that my favorite of the group had the lowest CR, but because of that bit, it made a lot more sense on why their CRs were as they were.

Absolutely love all of the Horsemen, but Trelmarixian is my favorite, with Charon right up close, and your portrayal was astounding. <o/

Got this and have ran some monsters from it in my game tonight. The Bloody Bones was a good scare! Also used the Trailgaunt which was really nice against the group's Cleric of Desna.

Also, +1 on the Draconomicon-like book for Paizo. I loved that in 3.5 and was used a bunch.

Was definitely not expecting a prestige class in this book, but it looks fairly fun! Always glad for more prestige classes, especially ones that can be done in APs like this one.

I'm really wanting to get this, but I'd much rather get a print edition rather than a PDF. I read on the kickstarter page that it was delayed a bit, but the print edition would be up soon. Is there a ETA for this?

Shouldn't a corruption be in a non-player focused book. This is much more a DM tool then a players.

Corruptions can be used by players and GMs. In the games that I have been in, corruptions have gone on players moreso than bad guys.

I hope there is something in here that makes gillmen worth playing. Currently they are a massive feel bad for a character with their low RP cost and barely anything of note of an actual ability other than swimming.

So what are the chapter openers like are they generic shots of each creature or is it more one of the Iconics fighting and/or getting owned by them?

The latter. It's typical Revisited stuff like Valeros being enslaved by Duergar or troglodytes chasing down Kyra.

Edit: And I really second the "more svirfneblin" request. The vegepygmies are pretty pointless and the name is somewhat uncomfortable in the light of 21st Century social awareness. You could easily have cut that whole section of the book out and I wouldn't have cared.

Care to say which icoics for which chapter?

I'm not too crash hot on some of the newer iconics, but I think it's:

Yeah, I don't recognize the woman with the Urdefhan either. I wonder who she is?

Looks to be the iconic Psychic.

Not planning to get this one, but super excited about new style feats and would love more info.

Blinded Blade Style lets you not take penalties to strength/dex-based skills due to blindness. You get bonuses to perception checks that don't involve sight. You also get limited scent and the ability to ignore perception prereqs for the blindfight feats (kinda).

Blinded Competence lets you hit things without even making perception checks with your weapon.

Blinded Master lets you pinpoint creatures while using the style like blindsight to 30 feet. And you get bonuses against feinting.

Cloak and Dagger lets you use a dirty trick in the surprise round in addition to an attack with a weapon you pick out (light melee). And, if someone would try to remove a dirty trick condition, it provokes an attack of opportunity from you.

Cloak and Dagger Subterfuge lets you make a free dirty trick against someone that you make an attack of opportunity against. Then, if you succeed on a dirty trick, you can make a free steal check against them.

Cloak and Dagger Tactics lets you attempt dirty tricks for more things (vital strikes, flanked opponents, or denied dex), and if you succeed, they make a fort save (int based) or they take even more penalties.

Base abilities. There are more to each of those, but those are the basics.

Medium and normal speed
Scent/Telepathic senses (darkvision/total 'vision' range 60 feet)
- to disease and inhaled poisons
Don't eat or drink and abosrb food. Immune to ingested poisons.

It's a really cool race. Already stat'd up one for the Giantslayer game I'm playing in!

I love the Heikegani! It is so adorable and sad. The mutant template seems really usable in a lot of settings. The 0-HD races are all pretty nifty, but dunno if I'll be able to use all of them. The reptoids were kinda disappointing. I see why they were used, but meh. Not for me.
