Well... either the DM has no internet access (hopefully he is not in a hospital), or he lacks the courtesy of letting us know what's up. Regardless, I'm done. Take a look under recruitment though, as I have been inspired to try my hand at this concept.

I'm really only interested in playing in a campaign that moves along daily. I thought a zombie-smackdown, mini-campaign would move along a lot quicker. I am involved in enough intermittent campaigns right now, that I have no interest in being in another. I really wanted to try out the alchemist class too. DM if this is just a quick hiatus before we get rolling, that is fine -- but if you currently don't have the time to keep things moving daily, then please count me out.

"Aye Clyde. There's quite a bit of food, water and ale here at the inn, we should be good for a couple of days until this blows over. I'll grab my tool kit and other tools from the carpentry shop I am apprenticing at." "Someone might want to grab some extra food supplies too... maybe even a pig or two." Zalar grabs a wagon, heads to the carpentry shop and fills up the wagon with supplies and equipment. He then returns to the inn and begins doing his best to fortify all the zombie entry points (windows & doors). Craft (carpentry): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

Assuming the town has no reason to fear a thread, Zalar would have just worked his normal day at his carpentry shop. He likely knows Clyde quiet well, and would have thanked him for bringing in some choice pieces of oak. Being a bit of a perfectionist he of course would have assisted in any repairs or maintenance of the town's defenses... because you never know... :) After a hard days work, Zalar would have retired at the Fat Pony for a large mug of ale and a big bowl of stew. |
