![]() I placed the order on February 4, was charged for part of it and another part of it was declined. I retried and it went through, and a hold appeared on my credit card. I checked today, and I understand that order fulfillment is taking longer and I have no problem with that, but the authorization has disappeared from my card, that part of the order seems to have already been shipped and there's no tracking info. I'm guessing the line saying "Shipped package 3369031" is in error, so will the card be charged again when that part is ready to ship? Thanks! ![]()
![]() John Glenn passed away today, at the grand age of 95. He was the first American to orbit Earth, and years later at the age of 77 when he flew on the space shuttle, he became the oldest person to fly in space. Would I be too bold to politely request that he's in some way honored in Starfinder? He, and many who followed, inspired my generation in so many ways. Thank you. ![]()
![]() Dear Paizo people, I received an email letting me know of a problem with Order # 3461479. I noticed there that my RPG subscription still is active. On March 2 I asked for its cancellation (here: http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2s18r?Please-cancel-my-subscription). Could you please remove the Pathfinder Unchained (OGL) Hardcover from my order? Thank you! ![]()
![]() Hello, sorry to be a bother. I just have this one question: Running a module (City of Golden Death), one of the players does not have a PC near the required level (having bearly played PFS, his characters are level 1 and 2, respectively). Long story short, he dies and cannot be brought back (due to lack of resources, as he has no PP to spend and no wealth). His sheet is marked accordingly. Now, from what I understand from the rules, he holds on to that Chronicle Sheet until one of his characters hits the appropiate level and he can apply it... and the character dies? Even if at this time he would be able to afford being resurrected? Thanks for your time! ![]()
![]() Hello, Paizo people! I just got an earful for ordering Pathfinder Volume One: Dark Waters Rising Hardcover (paizo.com exclusive) when I "should have figured out [my girlfriend] was going to buy it for me as a birthday present". Could you please remove it from the order? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! ![]()
![]() Hello! I'm currently playing Reign of Winter, and it's been brought to my attention that my character, well... sucks. I'm actually very happy with the flavor of it, but must agree that her in-combat contribution is rather lacking. Right now she's Lvl 3 and I've got two levels that I can play with before I go for the Riftwarden PrC. This is her right now: LG Samsaran Thassilonian Abjurer 3 Str 10
Saves
Feats:
******************* Right now I only need 2 more ranks in Knowledge (Planes) to be able to take my first level in Riftwarden at Lvl 6, so I have two levels I can use to increase my usefulness. It's not that the character is useless, but Abjuration magic lacks a little "Oomph" at lower levels. I had considered putting the Ability Score increse to Charisma at lvl 4 (for the Riftwarden features) and taking Spell Focus (Conjuration) at lvl 5, but I'm open to suggestions. I'd considered Item Creation feats (duh!), but we tend to push forward at the fastest possible pace and taking time off for crafting is not really a party habit. And the last thing I want is to slow them down. So, question is, what options do you recommend for levels 4 and 5? ![]()
![]() Hello, With the change in the processing method thingy I can no longer use my usual card for my orders (I checked with the bank, something about compatibility issues), so I'm trying to use an alternate card. My problem is that the authorization is being denied for insufficient funds. It's trying to come through for the full amount, not taking into account the store credit I have ($250). I can make it so the funds are there next week, but will the store credit apply when I check out? Thank you. ![]()
![]() Hello. Last weekend my group dug up our characters from an old campaign (five PCs, retired at level 20) and gave them 5 mythic tiers to try the system out. While it was certainly fun (watching a Balor explode like a balloon from a single full-attack was awesome), my own character seemed somewhat... lackluster. I played a straight-up Summoner. No fancy-shmancy archetypes, no prestige classes. The giant serpentine eidolon is a bit of a glass-cannon bite-constrict-[Con]poison killing machine, and the summoner is support-only. Haste the party, then heal the eidolon, buff as needed. Not a single damage-dealing spell (for in-character reasons). Out of combat, Bluff and Diplomacy were through the roof. The difficulties began when the time came to mythic path, as none of them are really suited for a Charisma-support caster. We agreed the Archmage was the sort-of-best-fitting one, but in the end not a single Path Ability was used. Endless Power seems useful, but with a rather high ability bonus and extra spell slots (Lvl 20) the summoner never ran out of spells. And the eidolon got no benefit whatsoever, what's worse, since it had to fight against opponents with mythic levels it had a really bad time. In our game none of the mythic paths or abilities did anything for the summoner. They worked wonders for the wizard, rogue, cleric and cavalier(ish) characters, but maybe that's because all of them fit one of the archetypes. So maybe add an archetype for a charisma-based support caster? In any case, I'd be more than happy if additional path abilities were given to the Archmage to allow for non-combat-oriented casters. ![]()
![]() This is probably the most painful post I've ever written on this site. I need to cancel my preorder of the Rise of the Runelords Deluxe Collector's Edition. If there are any still available in January I'll absolutely get it, but I just had a very large expense that came out of nowhere and messed my finances for the month. If you can help I'll really appreciate it. ![]()
![]() Hello, I got an email eight days ago from customer service letting me know there was a problem with my bank. I cleared it and wrote back two days later (July 5). I haven't received word back yet and checking my statement no charge has been made as of today.

![]() Well not first time, but every con I've been to before has been small, gaming-related, and not in the US. So I'm at a loss as to what to expect. Part of the reason I'm going is business-related, and I'll probably be busy with meetings on Friday, but I have a four-day pass and have no idea clue as to what I might find there and what to do. If anyone has been to NYCC, what's it like? Is there any gaming (as in PF) involved? ![]()
![]() Hi. So, we're one session away from the end of the campaign. The plots have been unraveled and the bad guys defeated. The BBEG was put down and her world-destroying artifact was destroyed... but only after it was activated. Now it's a race against time to travel to the planetoid about to crash on Golarion to divert its course or somehow destroy the elder god that sleeps within it, who will otherwise awaken once it hits Golarion, come into contact with Rovagug and reset all of creation. Pretty epic and properly high-level-campaign-ending. Everything's gone -mostly- well except that part about destroying the BBEG's artifact. I rolled a 2 on the Will save not to lose all spellcasting powers after successfully using Disjunction on it (and after rolling a 19 on the Reflex save not to be obliterated by the explosion that I caused). So my 18th level wizard can't cast spells and we have five hours at the most to prevent the end of all creation as we know it. Changing characters is out of the question, it'd make no sense after sticking with the same character for almost a year, and also from an in-game perspective it's been established the party is the only group of such a high level left on Golarion. A god's intervention is out of the question too, since as a key point of the campaign they're having their own battles and not taking direct action in Golarion until the dust settles. Oh, and Tar-Baphon got to the Starstone and took it with him to prevent anyone else from ascending. So since we leveled up, the GM and I agreed that I could take a one-level dip in anything I consider has any chance of turning my now 18th level expert into something remotely useful. Can be 3PP as long as it's for Pathfinder. 3.5 is banned from the table. We play at very low WBL so very few items, no headband for example. Almost all Knowledge skills maxed. A -1 to Use Magic Device (9 Charisma and no skill points in it for character personality reasons). 16 Dexterity but hit points at around 80 or so. 12 Strength. The only feat that's not metamagic, item creation or an arcane discovery is Improved Initiative. Can anyone think of a 1-level dip that can turn this very depressed elven wizard into something remotely useful for an epic set of encounters? ![]()
![]() Hi all. I'm GMing and a new player came up with a really interesting character concept. After I explained what the game was about and lending him The Worldwound Gambit to read, he wants to play a pyromancer. I explained that while it can be a fun to go about blasting things there will be many things that firecasters have difficulties with, because most mid- and high-level enemies have some way of resisting energy damage (the campaign will most likely go all the way up to level 18 or so and I wanted him to get a heads-up, but did my best not to outright discourage him). He thought about it and came up with a brilliant backstory for his character, and summed his intentions for it in one sentence: "I want to be the pyromancer that red dragons are afraid of." And well, that's just too friggin' cool a concept to shut down. I'm thinking that maybe going the sorcerer way might be better for what he wants but I have to admit I'm not on familiar territory. Is there any way for a blaster caster to overcome energy resistances and immunities? Would anyone care to offer some advice on how to go about creating the ultimate flame-wielding bad@$$? I have no problem with 3PP material as long as it's Pathfinder. No 3.X books, that's the one rule I have that's absolutely set in stone. Any advice is very welcome. Thanks! ![]()
![]() Hello. Quite out of the blue, I've been asked to GM tonight for my friends, plus two people who have apparenly never played any sort of RPG before. We won't have a whole lot of time, four hours at the max, more likely around three. I thought about running one of the starting PFS scenarios but the other three people have already played through all of them and I don't want them to get bored either. Does anyone know of an adventure I could use? Can be Paizo or 3PP, just as long as it's short and fun. Thank you. ![]()
![]() I'm running my group through the Academy of Secrets module, sort of stretching the old GM muscles before tackling Jade Regent, and I've come across this situation: They're breezing through it. It's no challenge whatsoever. (Also, guys, if you're reading this, no cheating!) The problems so far:: The level of optimization and synergy of the party is uncanny. Which is good, they're playing together, but to the point that no encounter as written comes even close to challenging them. The party is made of a monk, a wizard, an alchemist, a barbarian and a paladin. The only encounters they have left in Belzeragna are Marijkal, the Dueling Arena and Chyvom, and I would like Chyvom at least to be able to present something of a challenge.
The whip-wielding paladin deals no damage as he's taken a variant that instead gives a massive bonus to CMB to trip, but the barbarian dishes 50+ damage each turn, 98 when he maximizes his dice. The monk is a really well built damage dealer that also stuns, and the wizard specializes in ranged touch attacks with devastating efficiency. The ragechemist alchemist rounds off the party with potions and additional damage. When it comes to Chyvom, I want to be able to RP the encounter. For a while at least. The group is no enemy to a good rp, but my concern is that if it comes to combat, the Paladin is bound to win initiative, trip Chyvom and he won't even be able to write down the licence plate number. So on one hand, if he's alone, they are going to massacre him as soon as the conversation ends. But if he's not alone, they will take that as a threat and rightfully charge into battle, and most likely win in a couple of rounds. The wizard has only used two spells so far, none of them over level 5 and they haven't needed any healing so far (they offed the bone devil in the Lecture Hall in one turn and the barbarian put Illia Ean in 3 hit points with a single blow). Any suggestions? I'll admit I'm clueless.

![]() Hello! I'm preparing my January order, to go along with the subscription, and most of the products are already in the sidecart. Those were put there before the promotional code was announced, and I was wondering if they could be put back in the Shopping Cart so that I can add a few more things and place the order again using the code. If this could be done, that'll be awesome. Thanks! ![]()
![]() Hello, I was planning on getting a copy of Osirion, Land of Pharaohs Print Edition with my December subscription, and it's on my sidecart, but a friend just gave me a copy of it. He knew I'm going to run a game set there and preempted me. Could you please take it out of my sidecart? Thank you so much. ![]()
![]() Hello, I'm trying to put together a Crusader Cleric for a game in a couple of hours and I ran into this question, hopefully someone can answer it for me. In the list of feats the Crusader has to choose from at 1st level is Weapon Focus. But clerics have a BAB of 0 at 1st level. It is stated that "A crusader need not meet the normal class- or level-based prerequisites for these bonus feats.", but does this make the feat available at 1st level or not? ![]()
![]() Hello, I was hoping you could make a wee alteration to my order # 1827336. Instead of 10x Pirates of the Mysterious Isles Boosters, could you make that 3x Pirates of the Mysterious Isles Boosters, please? I hope there's time before the order ships, it's basically out of concern that this order got a bit too close to the limit for qualifying for Import Taxes and I'd like to avoid that (it'd be close to 45%) if at all possible. ![]()
![]() Hi! I placed my order for the Pathfinder Campaign Setting subscription a couple of weeks ago and it's in my sidecart now, along with a bunch of goodies I'd been saving for shipping with this month's Adventure Path. The AP won't be available for another couple of weeks and I'd like to have the things in my sidecart shipped as soon as possible, but when I try to it tells me that they won't ship until all preordered items arrive at the warehouse. Lands of the Linnorm Kings will also be available at the end of the month. Is there a way I can somehow take it off my sidecart just long enough to have the rest of the items in it shipped and then put it back there? Thanks a bunch! |
