Are you asking is this a good idea for you campaign or is that how we interrupt the Solarians as well?

I guess more for the sake of backstory. Are they chosen at birth? Can one choose to become a Solarian? Do they have a formal training program?

I have a PC in my group who plays a Human Solarian Icon, in the Core Rules we have noticed that how solarians are trained, chosen, and so on.

Bits and pieces of the Rules have she'd a little light, for instance, apparently most Solarians eventually start worshipping the devourer after becoming obsessed with the destructive nature of their power.

He and I have come to the consensus that they are like Jedi/Sith in the prequel star wars except flip flopped, as in more evil Solarians than good.

Thoughts or suggestions? Anything we might have overlooked?

So are we supposed to treat the starfinder society like Starfleet?
