Oh great and powerful GM CaveToad, you seem to have me in the wrong column. I am a new player waiting for a table, rather than a pre-existing player re-submitting a new character. Just a heads up.

If there's an option of starting above level one, sign me right up!

@Jovich: The game is always recruiting! :D But you may be waiting a while if you don't pull a character together soon. More tables are made as more people wish to join. No new people = no new table.

All right, it looks like I have everything all set for Yvhul. Let me know if there is anything I missed, of course, but it all should be fairly set at this point. The only thing left to do is lock down what feats I'll be taking at much higher levels, but I doubt you're too concerned with anything that far down the road.

Just remembered the other thing I wanted to ask you! Would you be willing to allow Enlarge Person to affect Yvhul? Given that there's maybe one or two races we have access to for this campaign that are actually humanoid, I figure I'm not too out of line in asking.

Also, would Monastic Legacy let me pump my unarmed strike damage up to ludicrous levels because gestalt?

@Xanya: Awesome! Thanks so much for the quick answer. Digging through more than 40 pages of info makes it hard to find some of these things, but I noticed they weren't clarified on the Campaign Info page, so I figured I'd ask.

Hey CaveToad, just a few quick questions for you now that I've picked through my crunch and whatnot. Still working on the history atm, so no rush to peruse my stuff.

1) You have the Signature Items giving another feat at every even level. Which is in addition to the free feats that we get at every even level? Or is this the source of the feats at every even level?

2) Does this stack with the 3rd/6th/7th feat from the specific set of feats (Weapon Focus, Spell Focus, ect.)? Meaning we'd get three free feats at level 6?

3) Can you expand on the auto-Leadership at level 7?

4) How do you feel about us taking Monster Feats?

Meet Yvhul'ku, LAB rat's submission! I'm still working on his history, but everything else seems fairly set at the moment. CaveToad's template portion is at the top under a spoiler. The rest is more for my own sake, to keep all the stats and whatnot straight. Feel free to hit me with any thoughts or feedback you may have on reading through it!

Yikes! Sorry to hear that he's had an accident and I hope he gets better soon. That said, I've got no problem with waiting until he's feeling well again and eagerly await when he comes back.

No rush or anything (and sorry for the double post), but any idea when we're gonna kick this off? I'm mostly just curious and excited to start.

I mean, his Strength is as high as his Charisma, so you weren't far off. As for Golarion, I think we'd much rather they all kneel.

My body is ready~

Also, Yvhul's been done for a fair bit now, so no need to worry about me.

Yeah, the idea was kind of that he was on loan to the Baroness as an intermediary between the two peoples. But also that he would be there for whatever she needed him to do, while he went about his own business trying to learn every little thing about their society. It wouldn't be out of the ordinary for each of you to have run across him at some point and been subjected to all manner of prying questions from the obnoxiously curious Mind Flayer.

As I can't imagine that Drow society is absolutely teeming with Mind Flayers, it'd make sense for those folks working for the Baroness to know of Yvhul'ku. If not know him from personal experience. While I doubt he had a lofty position in the house's hierarchy, he is still an ally. Maybe he elected to go to the outpost on his own, out of some bizarre curiosity that the Baroness was all too glad to indulge? Having a Mind Flayers mucking about in your plans for too long can't be enjoyable, clearly. What do you all think?

Dot.

Still here, too. Yvhul'ku was always here. (;,,;)

Adjusted as necessary, just needs some gear now! I'm really excited to give this a try, should be really awesome from the looks of things. I can't wait to see how it plays if I get picked. :D

One quick question: I wasn't sure how the tentacles work because natural attacks are wonky sometimes. Do I use strength and a half on them and are they a secondary natural weapon? I'm aware that tentacles are always secondary, but the stat block for Cthulhu in PF uses his strength and a half on tentacles, so that's throwing me off a bit. Thoughts?

Okay! Character is as ironed out as I can get him without having any of the stuff about Mind Flayers, so feel free to take a peek at the Alias. I made a few assumptions about the race, but I can change those quickly as soon as you release the info about them. That said, do you mind terribly if I reflavor Veteran Jungle Guide as Fungal Jungle Veteran? Considering it'd be really unlikely for Qlippoth to have gotten up to the surface and around a real jungle, I think.

As for his backstory, I'm having a little trouble figuring out what to do with him. What I have so far is that he was born and raised in (insert name of local Mind Flayer city here). While brilliant as most of his kin are, he found that he was not an intellectual powerhouse as some come to be. Instead, his zeal and physical prowess far surpassed that of his peers. He was utterly devoted to their deity Ilsensine and the Elder Brain, which soon put him on the fast track to be an antipaladin of his god. A powerful personality and his unflinching ardor served to accomplish what his comparatively meager psionic abilities could not. At the behest of the Elder Brain, he has loaned his services to their current Drow allies with the instruction to learn all that he could.

As I said before, I made a lot of assumptions with this based on the D&D lore for illithids. Please correct me if I'm off-base anywhere and I'll adjust as necessary. Looking forward to hearing what you think!
