I'd be cool with Retconning if it would help things flow more easily and get things going again

We'll get through this. he isn't stealing it, we won't let him, but he's not gonna go quietly either.
"It definitely could be, only one way to find out." Yelenn says forging ahead.
"Yeah, apparently it isn't all that common, but it's the magic I grew up learning." Yelenn says as they follow the worked stone path out into the new greenery. "This is...not what I expected."
Yelenn chuckles. "From what I was taught, it's a very old arcane artform, blending mastery of a blade, with combat magic, into a distinctive fighting style."
"Largely self-taught actually, I mean I had some formal teaching of the basics, from my parents, sort of necessary for understanding magical items and artifacts. That and a lot of study on my own." Yelenn replies a bit pensively.
"Definitely higher magic, probably ancient in origin!" Yelenn says in a fascinated tone. "Yes definitely." she says, taking a moment to memorize the tunnel and it's surroundings before leading the way forward.
With a bit of a wild grin, Yelenn sheathes her sword, stepping onto the path and venturing forward, reaching for the glimmering handrails as she takes a deep breath and proceeds.
"Shall we ladies?" Yelenn asks looking back at her companions.
"Maybe, I'm sure whatever we find will be interesting" Yelenn says approaching the lowest of the suspended chunks of stone.
"It's possible, guess there's only one way to find out." Yelenn says sending a quarter of dancing lights ahead of them as she leads the way down the tunnel.
@Mylyna, do you want us to come get you before exploring the tunnel?
"There's a doorway and a tunnel, like the door under the lighthouse from when we first got here." Yelenn says frowning slightly "I'm starting to think underground spaces here don't work the way they're supposed to...the tunnel seems likely to be longer than it should be."

Smiling at the exchange between Neilina and Caomhnóir, Yelenn utters a brief incantation, conjuring up four glowing spheres of light (which look like will-o’-wisps) that cast a cold blue radiance down the hole. "Yep, I'll take the lead." Commanding them down and ahead of them, the Witchblade takes the lead, climbing down the ladder, drawing her sword once she reaches the bottom to cover the other two women's descent.
"Coldwind?" Yelenn asks glancing over at Neilina. "Most of the magic I know, I've studied from old tomes or manuscripts I've come across, along with some research I've done on my own....mostly combat magic, but some utilitarian like this."
"Not seeing anything magical." the witchblade says quietly, as she lets her vision return to normal. Extending her magical grasp, she reaches out to the trapdoor, attempting to open it.
Taking a deep breath, Yelenn approaches the area of the trapdoor, shifting her vision into the magical spectrum as she does.
"Okay, let's head down there." Yelenn replies quietly.

"It's definitely something we've been meaning to look into. And from the sounds, if it, things might be safer with a few of us down there." Yelenn replies.
"I'm sure we'll be seeing you around." Yelenn says to the contract devil, preparing for them to take their leave.
That was an epic overreaction of the DM's part if you ask me.
"Neilina, this is Lalazrue." Yelenn says, to the druid, keeping an eye on the devil woman's reaction.

Taking a moment to gently trace a finger along her lover's cheek the Witchblade smiles. "See you soon." Resting her hand on the hilt of the archaic blade on her hip, Yelenn gives Neilina a nod of readiness, turning to face Yasmin and Mylyna. "Either of you want to come along?"
"I suppose so,"Yelenn says rising from her seat. Twinning her fingers with Nalada's for a moment she looked at the drow. "I know how uncomfortable she makes you. Would you prefer to stay down here?"
"Very good point. If she can come and go freely, we'd rather be on good terms than bad." Yelenn agrees.
"Or at the very least, not as bad as it could be." Yelenn answers. "It doesn't seem dangerous."
"It definitely has traces of magic, oddly enough it's necromancy, though not particularly malignant." Yelenn mutters.
"Do you mind if I take a look at it?" Yelenn asks, making a brief gesture as her eyes glow an irridescent blue, peering into the magical spectrum.
"True... a devil's a devil though, best I can tell, even the most civil of them is... fundamentally evil by nature in the same way we're made of flesh and blood." Yelenn agrees.
"If there's anything I've learned about this place by now, it';s that the commonly assumed perceptions of good and evil don't seem to be anywhere near as...stringent here. Which I suppose, makes sense since it also seems to be a place where anything 'society' would rather not deal with or deemed dangerous was exiled..along with actual world-threatening dangers." the Witchblade says thoughtfully after finishing a bite of food.

"Of course." Yelenn replies leaning over to give Nalada a kiss on the cheek.
"It's worth looking into." Yelenn says thoughtfully.
Yelenn can't help the smirk that comes across her lips at Xeros' delicacy reference, smiling slightly as Nalada tries to explain, and comfortingly squeezing her shoulder when Nelina asks the reason for Shivanii's absence.
Taking Nalada's arm, Yelenn heads to the kitchen with a smile.
Yelenn smiles, reaching down to scratch behind the wolf's ear after he sits.
"She's right." Yelenn says standing up beside the drow and idly resting a hand on her ample hip. "Each of us was brought here for one reason or another, in many cases because we were in some way deemed a danger where we were, and now we're figuring out existence here and making what we can of it."
I was wondering about that. First level full HPC should have 8, and then I'm not sure if we're rolling for second or half plus one. And of course I had any con modifier
"Have you ever heard of the Green Provider?” she asks turning to Nalada and pitching her voice to let her know the question was being directed at her, something that was quickly becoming second nature. "It sounds like they have been a part of things here for a long time."
"Green Provider?" Yelenn asks.
"It's alright, we can figure out what exactly is going on." Yelenn says soothingly. "We hadn't explored the greenhouse much as yet." She looks around at the others, considering what the Blight had told Neilina. "It's possible that the time that has passed since the creature had something for this person is way more than they realize....also, this place....well what's considered to traditionally be evil, and the truth can be very different here."
"Actually, yes. Blights are profane creations of ancient druids who stole life from the fey to empower the savagery and power of the wild into a corporeal malevolent beings. The rituals could be considered failures, or worse, twisted successes, creating these protoplasmic mockeries of nature. They are all noted for their cunning and endless patience and equally endless hatred for civilizations and creatures with any sort of sapience. They can also control their environment, and are loath to leave it, especially if it has to go through radically different environs. The more powerful ones can warp the flesh of creatures into the flora and minerals of their preferred environment" the scholar recites comprehensively.
"Is everything alright Neilina." Yelenn asks gently, crouching down so as to be at the same eye level.
Cocking her head to the side, Yelenn takes in everything looking both puzzled and curious in reference to Wallace's words. Putting it aside for a moment she makes it the rest of the way down the stairs to greet the petite newcomer. Tall and somewhat imposing, possessed of a dark beauty that is at once enticing and intimidating, the woman in dark leathers that offset her pale skin while complementing her long raven-black, partially braided hair is quite memorable. ”Please to meet you!” she says extending a hand, a hint of warmth in her piercing crystalline grey eyes. ”I’m Yelenn.”
"Was that Wallace's voice calling out to Catherine?" Yelenn asks looking down the stairs. "I guess we should see what's going on before extending the invitation." she says about to lead the way downstairs.
