Yath follows the conversation easily, having master the foul tongue of the foulest tongues at one point. While she has plenty of knowledge, the cracking of her mind during captivity keeps her from judging intentions.

"Open fire? Maybe an expression of for warming tea?" Unlikely she decides, and instead of approaching the men she just cleared the cloud from (and Ell had said they were blameless so she shouldn't be killing them) she steps through the nothing toward where the others have gone.

The dark skinned elf overshoots slightly ending behind the hag in question, "Oh Hello" she says pleasantly as she reaches out to touch her with her magic.

The green cloud is of keen interest, if for no other reason than the oddly dense shape and consistent coloration. So the elven mage, no left behind by her companion, pokes her long eared head around the stone wall to evaluate the fog.

"Interests and Oddities" Yath mumbles with frustrated awe. While she had no idea what it was, she was pretty sure (despite some other worldly musing by someone) it is NOT pea soup, so she attempts to undo whatever it is.

Yath frowns, being not really adept at keeping people alive when her spells start to erupt. So she eases up behind Sorak, trying to remain out of site until she can get into site of the hag.

Yath decides being super protected is not nearly important having someone who rushes into the middle of battle for you. So she casts Stoneskin on her paladin companion, explaining "While the skin grays, the insides have a tendency to remain insides, instead of outsides." she flashes an odd grin at Ellena. "The way of things preserved by mundane coloration."

I'll pause her movement until Ellena goes, cause Yath is intelligent enough not to have the squishy wizard lead the charge, but if Ellena moves closer so will Yath, staying BEHIND the armored one.

I don't think Yath has anything... but let me look. Nope, all good to go.

Seeing that the battle is about to be joined again, Yath taps into her special pool of mythic might and casts a spell on herself while grasping one of the rods on her belt.

Yath accepts the drink, swishing the sweet wine in her mouth with relish, enjoying the taste almost as much as the effect "I could teleport all save one to the top of that tower that Sorak said had a shooter in it. If someone else could fly?"

Yath has spells to cast but will wait until they decide to move

Yath spent the trip chatting with whoever wanted to and was contently silent when none did. It is amazing how okay you are with most things after an indeterminate time being tortured by demons.

At the Greengates, she looks over the area, studying the defenses and building itself.

Yath's only prolonged travel spells in her book are mount and teleport. She does have 3 casts of level 5 spells, so if we REALLY needed she could teleport most of us, teleport back, and then teleport the rest, but that would use all her most powerful spells, so I'd rather not.

Yath closes her new book. She considers slipping it into her pocket for future finishing, but the book might exist right here to inspire some wandering soldier or broken victim. If she took it, destiny would be diverted, just so she could satisfy her curiosity.

That wouldn't be right. So she set the book back where she found it, even rotated it just so to be back in its original alignment, then patted it "good luck" the wizard tells the poetry.

She returns to the other's side "Is there an unspoiled body of water I can use? Not for cleaning, for scrying." She pauses and thinks "We'll also need to find someone that knows someone really well that is currently defending the place." she looks hopefully at the Tirabades.

sounds like Nona needs to wait until tomorrow in game to reorganize her spells, so Yath would spend her arcane bond on scrying, then get that back tomorrow.

Ah, oh well. Yath can't help much with recon then. No overland flight, and teleport but she can't teleport everyone. Oh, wait she has scrying if anyone wants her to try that.

Yath gets fly ALL the time at next tier, and her feet will never touch the ground again :)

Yath looks to the others talking or thinking and shrugs. She had spotted a desk, that she could slide her bottom onto, as well as a slim book of imported poetry left discarded to pass the time.

So she slips away.

"Their forms and names shift like wind in a rainstorm." Yath points out about Succubi, giving Ellena an explanation of how she could have missed that.

Then to the commander, the elf relates "One decided to mimic Iomedae herself in that battle. So while the probability is that Jerribeth was destroyed, the possibility does exist that the one destroyed was another creature acting as the one we believed we destroyed."

For some reason, she decides that wasn't clear enough and tries to explain further. Holding up a finger of each hand, she says "One plus One always equals Two. Unless one of the One's is really a Three in disguise, and then it will still look like it equals Two, but it truly equals Four, but only if you can accurately see past the disguise." She lifts and lowers her fingers, bobs them a little as she talks, then looks over her explanation, nodding with satisfaction, as if THAT helped.

Yath's inner secret monger perks up when she sees the magical aura. She looks as best and as quickly as she can to KNOW. In the city, she looks around at everything, says hello to passing people just to do so and it feels right and purchases a very overpriced apple which she crunches on slowly.

"One should enjoy every moment they can, since you never know when you will be kidnapped by demons and tortured for years." she says to herself, when she wonders why she is being so cheery. Understanding her sea of unknown in her brain is side quest for her.

Then back to work, a command center, for a war that mortals have been losing for centuries. "Nice to meet you, Commander Tirabade."

Yath looks at the other elf, cocking her head to the side as the others discuss alcohol production. "Our specific purpose has not been revealed." she looks at the odd collection around them "At least as a whole. Mine is to repay a debt." turning back to the gate guard "But more immediately it is to pass through here, to hopefully find a bed and a warm meal. Lady Tirabade-" she addresses the one blocking the tired and worn group. "May we enter, find a place to rest, then relay all that happened in a more comfortable location?"

Nope on the Eagle knight, we combined her initial backstory of being caught and tinkered with destroying her memory with 'You have been part of the black talons, a secretive Andoran special operations unit.'

"No prisoners, just allies." an elf steps forward and answers with stately confidence.

As I start looking around to see the answers for the Andorian part, I realize I forgot details that our GM added to Yath's rescue and indentured not indentured servitude, :) , to her angel savior. Mainly that the organization she is working for at the moment is Andorian. Sorry about that.

"While I am not Andorian..." the skin, the eyes, the ears, the clothes, all point to other areas of the world or realms "... I have been 'aiding' an organization that is headquartered there. So while I am not, I might be, in the context of your search at least."

She pauses again "Were any of the helpful succubi Calistrian?"

Yath follows the cadence of his speech, nodding her head along with his rises and falls. At the end she stops, then says "I am none of those."

For a woman with so many holes in her memory about herself, she oddly finds that she knows quite a bit about the man suddenly in front of them. Or at least the man he claims to be.

Unfortunately reading people has never (she assumes) been a strong skill set for her. She blames this on many things. Primarily on the fact most people truly do not know their own selves well enough, so how is there any possibility for other people to know?

His attention is on Nona, who Yath is walking with at this time, curious about all sorts of things the young woman might know. She would introduce herself, but there is an order to things, and in this, the order starts with where the focus is. Which is Nona.

So the flawless dark-skinned Ekujae elf with raven black hair in a long braid and shockingly bright yellow cat eyes simply waits.

If the newcomer spares her a glance, it is easy to tell she is a spellcaster. Complete lack of proper armor, dressed in elegantly and perfectly clean coal black flowing robes and impractical subtle slippers.
No weapons sheathed, just magical rods among component pouches resting lightly at her defenseless hips. Odd amulets, pearls, and goggles around her unprotected neck. And a darkly bound book held protectively in her arms.

"Looking like a demon does not make you a demon!" Yath calls after the retreating Paladin. To Drye, "If it did all the poor tieflings in the world would be constantly..." she sighed "Oh, ya, right."

I am very VERY sorry to hear that sir. I personally would love to game with an NPC of your very awesome grandma. My sincerest condolences.

Why are the Crusaders staring that many daggers at me? Like, I didn't have f~$& all to do with them being captured, or with how they were captured, and I am not like... famous or anything? Like, what gives?

Yath Hmmmms in thought, tapping her chin as well. "Hard to say. I'd imagine it is your association with a demon. However beneficial it might have been to you, to them they see only the horror and pain their kind have been scouring all they know and love with. Not to mention whatever happened in captivity." Yath thankfully has memory issues. While a lot of her own captivity happened to be memories that have NOT disappeared, the holes in her mind are convenient places to stuff things she didn't want to think about.

"Or it could be your anger issues? Your explosions of rage coupled with the sheer violence that comes with it might worry them. Since rage is often uncontrolled." she shrugs as she thinks.

"Or it could just be something you said. It is easy for the devout to take offense where the not devout, or at least those without the same devotion, have no idea why."

Yath cleans off the taint, as requested in the morning, just with her magic since trusting water from this hellscape isn't wise (... not hell, abyss-scape? hmm, should she attempt to coin that phrase?)

her mind wanders a bit, then she does one of the least enjoyable things imaginable, Marching.

She wanders and chats with all the groups, even the anti-mingling Dye, since she is not part of any group, other than her angel (that she is Not a servant to, even though she is).

"Drezen?" she asks the nearest open ear. She is relatively certain she has seen it before, a nagging niggle in her mind is telling her so, but she can never be really certain about anything with her demon-tinkered brain.

Yath has pleasant dreams of roasted meats, honeyed breads, and sugary tarts all while experiencing an mild earthquake, oddly not panic inducing. In the morning, when it comes, she realizes the massage setting had been triggered to higher in the night.

And there is never anything wrong with more healing. Mythic combat at this level seems massively (and amazingly) chaotic which could go from Doing good to nearly dead when things do a hundred damage with ease. Or so the squishy mage thinks at least.

Hmmm, we have a paladin, a wizard, and a shaman. So maybe skill monkey or another melee fighter? Anything really.

Yathiara sighs. Her angel didn't exactly give her time to prepare an overnight bag of any sort. No changes of clothing, no rations, no sleeping kit, not even a blanket.

In truth she has never like camping even with the proper bits and bobs. Or at least she thinks she never has. A soft broken in couch, a steaming mug of tea with a dash of something that burns, and a big thick book in your lap with your nose buried in literary pleasure.

Those are the nice things in life.

Bugs, dirt, rocks in your back, cold and rain, and... well she could go on in her mind, since she was certain complaining out loud would get her nowhere.

"Lovely song" she says with a soft smile, as she sits near a fire, arms around her knees and waiting until it is time to sleep.

Yath can take the wand of shield for the occasion tap to increase ac on some of us. We can sell the wand of mage armor unless anyone thinks they will need it cast on them... hey, what about your familiar, Nona? Yath can use the wand of mage armor on your familiar from time to time if you wish?

My suggestions would be (and they are just suggestions of course and based alot on what you already suggested)

Ring of Protection +2 (looks like she has a +1 ring right now so our front liner getting an AC bonus would be great, Nona's familiar could get the +1 ring from Ellena)

10000 gold from equipment, split between Nona and Ellen to help move you toward wealth per level.

The rods are beautiful in the fact they do not require the use of higher spell slots. So with Quicken for example two flame strikes in a single turn. Only three times a day but it is rather lovely.

The reach rod is an upgrade for Yath, she could take it and give her lesser one to Nona as well as Nona taking the quicken.

Oh, and her three spells will be Dismissal, Icy Prison, and Mage's Private Sanctum.

Deciding is really hard. I do love the flipping a coin idea though.

Lootwise, the metamagic rods are wonderful of course, but happy to let Nona have them. Yath already has a lesser reach metamagic rod but can always upgrade. Other things in the list provide minor upgrades as well, but nothing huge.

Most important is any of you that are not weath by level at the moment, should take any and all that will help bridge that gap.

I am new as well, just taking part in the last battle. Our GM had me create Yath with wealth by level, 62000. Mythic tier is 3 currently. Also, I am familiar as well (in your Last Hope of the Hollow game as the paladin).
