I played this scenario as a level 1 Druid. Overall, this was not bad, but I wanted more from the location. More emphasis on the local people/culture. The tallest mountain in the world is cool and all, but as far as flavor text is concerned...blegh. That being said, the combat was fun and well paced and the faction missions added to the feel of the scenario.
When I found this scenario on the list for Char-con, I was pretty excited. The premise seemed interesting, and I am always up for a bit of horror.
Now, having played the thing, I have to say, it just aggravated me. The idea behind it was great, but the actual scenario left alot to be desired. The monsters were a pain, and without a very specific group of player classes the end boss takes forever. The interaction with the NPCs is also a bit lackluster and the faction missions seemed like more of an after thought. Overall, not my favorite.
This scenario was the perfect blend of roleplaying and monster whacking, and, in my opinion, the end boss was one of the better villians I have encountered in Society play. I loved all the creepy details and had a great time playing this. Highly reccomended for anyone who likes a touch of the macabre.
