How would out group go about creating these items?

We have a level 3 caster but lack the spell secret chest. Also are these items rare?

Another question. Does lightning musket cost a grit point?

My question is how many shots would my level 3 musket master get with this set up.

3 levels musket master with musket equiped "also for double barrel musket"

Rapid shot
BAB+3
Rapid reload musket
Fast musket
Alchemist cartridges

Few more question:
Is there a better set up and is there anyway to create stronger muskets?

How would it work for a "Musket Master"?

Would a gunslinger need to take proficiency in a doublebarrel musket, or would proficiency in musket work?

I have a level 2 human, gunslinger "musket master" with 8 "int". My question is would he get 12 skill points?

2 for leveling up
2 for being human
8 for level 2 gunslinger

If a gunslinger has craft alchemy, does she have to roll for every time she makes an alcemists carriage or do you just spend the gold and a full day to make it?

Edit:

Cha is at 14 as well

So far my Warpriest is the following

str-14
dex-10
con-14
int-10
wis-16
cha-10

Few questions:

For the bonus feat do you need prerequisites like normal feats?
Do you lose anything if you select domains that are not of your deity?
He will be a wield a two-handed weapon. I was thinking the Earthbreaker, any other suggestions?

I was thinking strength and heal for the domains.

so in the end you would gain 3 combat feat. "Max level 20"

that seems to put a damper on human Warpriests when you could have 20 skills/HP over 3 feats.

"Gain ⅙ of a new bonus combat feat."

Im new to pathfinder, so I was hoping someone could explain what this means for a human warpriests favored class bonus.

Does this mean instead of getting an additional skill or HP ponit, we get a new combat feat every level?

When you summon Deamons it says that many require an offering, so I was wondering how this would work. "Summon Monster as a bard"

Also I have the feeling that if I do summon one, it will go badly for the group so I was wounding what usually happens when they are summoned.

I was wondering how you create items in the game "Both regular and magical"

Do you need a crafting skill for each type of object?

since Handel animal is a trained skill and not a class skill, a bard can put a point into it?

I play a bard who found a wounded fox in the wilds. He ended up healing the creature and is now nursing it back to health. It should take a week for it to fully heal. My question is how can I get the animal to become an ally to my bard if he doesn't know Handle Animal?

All of our players including the GM are new to pathfinder. This is our first campaign and we are leaning more towards the let's all just have fun. As the GM he has the final word and he does want to keep most of us from going evil.

Personally I have played many types of other story telling RPG's and can easily seperate player and character actions. As a player I just want to understand the world from more experienced players and I know little about how the changing of alignment goes.

Regarding the character, he is CN and could go either good or bad. As his story goes he is haunted by his past with involvement with daemons and they speak to him every night. This is why he knows arcane magic, speaker abyssl and this why he would be able to summon them. He does his best to hide his arcane powers and would summon Demons only in battle should he need them.

He does steal a lot but only from people that rub him the wrong way.

Regarding the slaves, the character is a noble and understands that there is a hierarchy and he is also from far away lands. The GM is leading towards the the possibility of the mayor being involved in this business and the character would have little issue buying servants to help carry his gear and keep his appearance.

I assumed that the slaves would have been branded and being new to the game I didn't know how most of the city's in the region would treat the group should the character enter with a slave or three. The character isn't outright evil, but should the evil feed help him more than a good deed he wouldn't think twice about it.

We also have a paladin in the group. Any ideas on how to deal with him? Other than hiring and assassin.

I have a bard that is haunted by a demon when he sleeps and in the future when he levels up I will pick up summon monster "input number here" he will then start summoning demons under his command. Would this turn him from nutral to evil?

"Also what are the risks of summoning demons?

Also we are comming to a town where there is an underground slave trading ring. If a character buys a slave would it make him evil? We are around Andoran right now, and I know some cultures accept it and others dont.

Also since we are in Andoran I read that they are anti-slavery and they have groups out to stop the slave trade. What could happen if we run into these groups or enter a city?

So if I attack with the hand that has the buckler equipped, how would the AC work then?

Quick question about combat.

We did our first battle the other day and my turn went as following.

My character had a shield, rapier, armor. I could not reach the enemy wolf but I was told that, in order to revive my AC of 17 I would have to ready my shield. So I got it ready and drew my blade.

My question is do I get a natural 17 to AC. Or do I have to ready my shield? "It's a buckler"

Also if I do, would I need to ready it every round?

I'm lucky he even let me have fencing grace and a new char.

What about dropping set to 8 from 10 and making it

8 str
16 dex
14 con
10 wis
16 cha

Seeing how I have to wait 5 levels I would think the penetly would be a bad idea.

.... I completely missed your last sentence. Looks like I can't have the best of both worlds.

Looks like I will get it at level 5.

Sorry if it's over my head but what am I missing out on if I do bard-fighter-bard over foght-bard.

Core rule book minus the use of fencing grace .

I will start as a bard to get all the fun bard toys. I could drop str down to 8 since I will be using dex for everything. Or will negative str hurt me else where.

The only issue I see is bards don't get a +1BAB at level one but figters do and that get the extra feat.

Wouldn't this set me back till level 5 unless I doped at level to to pick it up with a fighter feat and then level up the bard at level 3 and get the fencing Grace feat.

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

But I don't get a feat at level 2 as a bard and you need a +1 BAB for combat focus.

I forgot to add that "combat focus" needs a base attack bonus +1. How could I did this so I can get the fencing Grace at level 3?

Would it be a -4 with my Dex bonus ?

So I would roll to hit them add all my bonus then take the -4?

Get quick draw and go crazy with 4 rapiers ......

Final build idea:

Strength 10 (+0)
Dexterity 15 (+2)
Constitution 14 (+2)
Intelligence 12 (+1)
Wisdom. 10 (+0)
Charisma 16 (+3)

Skills in: Bluff,Diplomacy,Slight of hand,Appraise,Knowlage'local',Disable device,Linguistics,Knowalge'nobility', and intimidate.

Feats will be weapon finesse and weapon focus 'Rapier'.

If i get one fighter level at level 2 I should be able to pick up Fencing Grace, correct?

He will go duel rapier later on and hold 3 crossbows on himself and have the unseen servant pick them up. He will also hold the wrist dagger in both hands.

The DM just allwed Fencing Grace at level 3.

I could move the 2 int over to str. I would only lose one skill.

The bard is the Jack of all trade but master of none.

The group is made up of a barbarian and paladin. Then the lady's are a sorceress, druid and ranger.

The bard will be in the middle of the group.

I could ... Even better when the enemy is covered in shiny bolts.

My goal isn't to max the character potential but do many fun things especially outside of combat. I was thinking of picking up those skill For if he gets into melee. He could disarm them fall back and send another bolt to the attackers face.

Also just because I can, the character will also carry around two rapier's. I was wondering about getting combat finess with improved disarm should he be brought into the fight.

I know he's squishy but I have to made him look some what dashing with the lady's.

Any idea on how to add firearms in core? Also I will go with the unseen servant, only question is can others and myself see the servant?

would I be able to attach it in the core version? If so what items would I need.

Strength 10 (+0)
Dexterity 15 (+2)
Constitution 14 (+2)
Intelligence 12 (+1)
Wisdom 10 (+0)
Charisma 16 (+3)

human Bard level 1 core only

My plan is to use hold 4 hand crossbows "Unless the DM lets me use firearms" on the character while using "quick draw" at level 3 "Unless there is some way to get it at level one?" I would use one then but it back until i am at the last one, then I would reload it and fight with one bow.

I will start with two-weapon fighting and Weapon Finesse "If I drop two char and add it to Str" or I will keep Deceitful for my out of combat fun.

Any advice for this play style.

I would rather use firearms but I don't think they are in core unless I can convince the DM to treat them as exotic ranger weapons.

Also regarding the duel repeating cross now I didn't see that you need a free hand to reload it. And tips on how to effectively use duel repeating crossbows?

So I will drop the rapier and just use a crossbow untill I can get two light repeating cross bows. Regarding the repeating crossbow, do I use all my bolts at once or once per round?

I was looking at feats and I would assume I have to take rapid reload and two handed fighting. Sadly it would lower my bluff bonus but make be spam the bolts later on.

Of I had quick draw and multiple crossbows could I core one and draw another loaded crossbow?

Does weapon finesse switch the strength and dex for hit or damage. I might have misread the wording.

Larkspire wrote:

A 3 lvl dip in Rogue is pretty good...you only give up 1pt of BA and gain evasion,+2d6 sneak and rogue talents...not to mention the archetype possibilities(if you don't want trapfinding).

Then Ranger the rest of the way.
I would reconsider your desire to ignore tactics and positioning...it's important for everyone not just the Rogue.

Sorry I ment more along the lines of he won't be running up behind the enemy for sneak attacks. He might take on a single enemy or so but leave the main fighting to the barbarian and paladin .... Althought the lady's in the group are a healing druid, ranger and sorceress so he wouldn't mind sitting in the back but he wouldn't want to be over shadowed by the other fighters.

So far he's a bard that will use one rapier and crossbow till later levels. I did not notice that bards get slight of hand. I plan to have more fun out of combat and just need a little bit of power so I can be on the front lines.

So at level 3 I would get a new feat correct? If so should I pick up weapon finesse?

Question about fighters bonus feats. Do you only get it on the even fighter level or even character level?

So far I have:

10 str
15 dex +2
14 con +2
12 int +1
10 wis
16 cha +3

Hp 10

I receive a +12 in bluff, +7 in deplomacy,+6 in slight of hand along with +7 in intimidate if my math is correct.

Took feats in dishonest and bluff skill.

My only issue with the rouge is I don't know if I would like them in combat. In combat I just want to walk up and hit something and I don't want to think about positioning and dodging to get the rouge attack bonus.

Is their any way to effectively steal Or use slight of hand witout being a rouge?

Also we are new so I don't know much about multi class.

We are using the point buy that is set at 20. As for combat I will not be the the one to deal a lot of damage because we have a barbarian and a paladin in the group. I would however like to hold my own should I be drawn into combat and RP wise the character will be the charismatic person who can lie his way out of a paper bag and should the shop keeper not give him a good deal on an item ... It may be missing the next day.

We also have a ranger and the duel rapier is because the character is from nobility. I don't plan on maxing out the charact but I just don't want to fall completely short at the end.

The weapon of choice will be duel Rapier so I was wondering if their was a way to focus on fighting with Dex over strength.

I forgot to add it's core only.
