Grace looks out towards where the dragon in human guise and the ranger have vanished.

"Mmmm." she says, softly to herself as if considering something. "So, we are to liberate this fort? Obviously we don't have the army needed for a frontal attack. We will need to sneak inside like thieves in the night."

Grace looks up. Apparently, she became lost in thought as she sipped hot tea and lemon juice. The last battle was particularly nasty on her vocal chords.

"These poor souls need food and water and the healing touch of our witch." Grace says, though she keeps her voice low. She speaks to the captives. "Don't mind Krysta, dears. She's on our side. Or, I suppose, she would say we are on her's. A dragon comes in handy."

Grace stays well away from the fight and begins to sing.

Grace sings four notes which resonate and crystalize as dancing balls of colored light which float above Shalelu.

Casting Dancing Lights. For now they're above the Shalelu, providing a torch's worth of light to help combat the dim light condition of the area.

In combat, its always safe to assume Grace sings and boosts if I can't show up for some reason.

"I am so fortunate to have so many capable friends." Grace laughs before she begins singing.

Grace grins, knowing Elisai will likely end up singing along with her while she fights. They did this particular opera together not long before leaving Sandpoint.

"A different idea." Grace says, "If I may interject, dears. If I can be taken to the prisoners, or close to them, I can deliver supplies. Weapons. Healing potions. Magic. And then we have allies in this fight instead of liabilities."

The diva leaves the healing for the witch and saves her own spells for later.

"They know we are here." Grace points out the obvious. "Either this mysterious mother is preparing for us or she is watching us. Or someone is, anyway. Should we check the outlying buildings to be sure we won't be ambushed before entering the farm house?"

"Well, Asmodeus's left testicle." Grace curses as she comes out of the spell and, obviously, stops singing.

"It didn't work. Either he's too stupid to be fascinated or he's too smart. Both are disturbing. I would have thought my image would alone would have been enough to induce fantasy. How upsetting."

Grace sighs and uncurls her whip.

"Either way, the idiot is screaming to his mother saying the pictures are singing to him. I'm sorry. I think we'll have to do this the hard way."

"I have an idea." Grace says. "Be ready to surprise our guest. Hopefully he will be coming our way."

Grace begins singing. Oddly, though her back is straight and her mouth opens wide, her voice comes not from her body but from somewhere in the distance.

Upon a single poster, near the feet of the patrolling ogrekin, the image of Grace begins singing. Once the ogrekin takes notice she withdraws her attention to a poster further away and then one further still.

Attempting to draw the ogrekin guard away from the house and towards us where we can ambush him, using Fascinate. I know its an unorthodox use of the ability but I'm hoping it will work here. Its a DC 17 Will save for the ogrekin to resist.

"I can see through my image." Grace says, her voice far away. "Act through it, too. If it was a statue I could even animate it to a degree."

Shadow, can I use Bardic Performance through one of the images? Animate the mouth to sing and have it Fascinate?

Grace closes her eyes and hums, softly, as she works her magic and transfers her mind. Her awareness extending to the posters as they fall into mud and on rooftops, hang on fences and cling to stairs.

"A farm." Grace sings, softly, weaving her observations into her music for the others to hear. "In the east, fields of plagued plants. A barn and a farmhouse, boarded over and heavy with moss to the north. I only see one door into the barn. Big and wide, as if for a cart. The house has two entrances, one from the front porch. One from the side. I see one man. Big. Ugly. Tumors growing on the side of his head. Another ogrekin. He has a giant hook and is ugh... he picked up one of my posters. He's patrolling the perimeter."

I got inspired by the Skyrim flavored game and am trying to start up a Quest for Glory flavored game.

As the dragon and the barbarian comfort Shalelu, Grace walks to Delendir.

"I have an idea. A very odd one." Grace says to the ranger. "I know a spell which allows me to inhabit any image of myself within about three hundred to four hundred feet. If we were able to get close enough and hide, and if your best friend were able to fly above this clan's dwelling and drop posters of my last performance in Sandpoint, perhaps enough would make their way about that I could use the spell to scout for information. I dislike going into this blind. The hunter we just killed unnerved me, the way he so casually spoke about his mother holding prisoners on the one hand and making blankets out of their patches for her adult children on the other."

Grace watches as the would-be hunter is dispatched by the trained blades of her companions.

"It sounds like a clan of these... things has captured what remains of the rangers. One was easy prey. A group of them working together will be more formidable. I doubt they are all as simple or easy to trick as this one. We'll need to find their home and free the rangers. Shalelu will be a problem if she can't keep her temper, though. This mission won't work if she charges into every fight ready to kill without a plan."

Grace pales as she hears the story. The men they were sent to find, prisoners of some clan of... whatever this creature was. And if it got away...

Ravarath (Rath for short) is dark-skinned, bald-headed, and clearly fit - as anyone can attest who has glimpsed his body beneath his loose monk's gi and hakama. Despite having some pleasant facial features and unblemished skin, as a whole his face is slightly assymetrical which leads most viewers to consider him homely at best. Rath knows this about himself and is comfortable with it. Just as he also knows that he is not particularly bright or charismatic. He accepts these faults as humbling lessons the Universe provided to keep him grounded while he pursues his goal - which is the focus of his life.

Rath's goal is to achieve self-perfection and free himself from the bonds of karma that are enacted through the process of reincarnation. Rath roams the world(s), seemingly at random, searching for new experiences. He believes that the Universe, or Irori, or the Lords of Karma sets the adventures before him as a path to enlightenment and a test of his worthiness. He feels that every adventure / odd job / learning experience is a stepping stone on the path to spiritual liberation.

Rath is highly self-disciplined, despite his seemingly aimless journey.
