....though this scenario is over..... ****EPILOGUE**** The screen initiates to reveal Ylda sitting in the booth looking curiously around at her setting before focusing on the camera pointed at her as a voice speaks in fluent dwarven. This voice is easily recognizable as Wazasha. As the voices converse in dwarven, subtitles translate the conversation, "Ylda, what do you think of the Starfinders? The group that was just here?"
Delea:
"When Rex was in here last he expressed some possible interest as well. Why don't we bring him in here and ask him?" Rex:
You hear a familiar crackle from your personal comm unit, "Rex, to the booth please."
As you approach the booth you notice it is slightly bigger than the last times you have seen it. When you enter you notice that Delea is in here too as well as the only sitting location is a seat right next to Delea facing the usual cameras and Wazasha. The Booth: A ghoulish smile is obviously on Wazasha's face as she speaks, "Rex, the last time you were in here you said that there was some interest towards Delea. Delea, you were just telling us of how there was interest on your end. What do you two think now?"
KM:
Looking as disappointed as a ghoul can look, "Thank you Kormbopulous." Delea: Delea hears a small buzz behind her, obviously meaning a camera has captured this moment. Moments later you hear a familiar crackle from your personal comm unit, "Delea, to the booth please."
KM: You hear a crackle from your personal comm unit, "Krombopulous, come back here to the production crew."
As you proceed back, the large bubble is back. "Come inside the booth." Inside you see a seat in front of a two-panel screen to create a visually neutral backdrop and a pair of tiny hover drones equipped with cameras. You are inside a slightly opaque, noise-cancelling bubble to provide some privacy. With you inside is Wazasha, though the cameras are focused on you as one stays between you and Wazasha and the other seems to be getting different angles. "Krombopulous Michaels," she begins, "that was quite a fight. What are your thoughts on the mission so far?" So, we are going to proceed with the story and this conversation will basically have taken place when you were called into the booth. So you'll likely have to multitask proceed with what Delea does after the few minutes in the booth and with the interview in the booth, does that make sense?
As the Starfinders ready themselves and climb, Wazasha taps some more on her holoscreen and soon a familiar faint buzzing can be heard from the production crew area and coming closer. Soon enough a few tiny camera and a couple flashlight drones appear and begin following you in leu of the crews. Another drone with neither camera or light accompanies as well. You wonder what it might be but it soon makes it's purpose clear when Wazasha's voice emanates clearly from it, as blandly as ever, "Fear not Starfinders, we are still with you."
Rex:
[ooc] well played..
"We saw you have a moment there with Delea. What are your feelings there?" Wazasha walks forward to the group as they discuss what to do. She taps her wrist holoscreen to view something as she speaks plainly "We have put a poll out to the viewers to decide how to get past this obstacle." Her intonation obviously implies that you should wait a minute or so for the result.
Wazasha:
"Yes Zo!, Huckle Jim is next." Wazasha walks over to Huckle Jim during the rest period. "Mr. Jim? Would you please join me in the booth?" Jim: As you proceed back, the large bubble is back. Inside you see a seat in front of a two-panel screen to create a visually neutral backdrop and a pair of tiny hover drones equipped with cameras. You are inside a slightly opaque, noise-cancelling bubble to provide some privacy. Soon after the combat ended Delea seemed to hear something and headed toward the same bubble thing that Rex did a bit back. After several minutes she comes back out and she easily clambers up the wreckage. Delea: You hear a crackle from your personal comm unit, "Delea, come back here to the production crew."

Ya'll are doing great. One thing though because of how Starfinder works, if you could include the damage type and EAC vs KAC on your attacks it would be generally helpful to the GM. i.e.
Exact wording is not necessary inside of the [dice= , [ooc ]would work fine too for that info. Thanks again, Ya'll are awesome.
Rex:
Just as you is about to proceed forward you hear a crackle from your personal comm unit, "Rex, come back here to the production crew."
As you proceed back, what was once the hexapodal robot is now a large bubble that could probably fit two people comfortably. "Come inside the booth." Inside you see a seat in front of a two-panel screen to create a visually neutral backdrop and a pair of tiny hover drones equipped with cameras. Rex suddenly turns and starts heading back toward the production crew where a large bubble has appeared. After several minutes within the bubble thing, Rex exits and resumes where he left off, walking forward with his hands above his head...
Ahead of you are two camera crews, in total consisting of 10 ghouls bristling with holocord cameras, boom microphones, reflective screens to amplify natural lighting, and other equipment for properly recording your exploits in several multimedia broadcast formats. Behind you
You hear Wazasha through you personal comm units, "Go."
Huckle Jim wrote: You keep reminding us that we can purchase equipment up to level 5 this game. Is it going to be hard if we don't? I'm trying to save credits for much later levels, since sell value is only 1/2. I didn't notice that Valen had already mentioned it and also thought it would go well in the preparation scene Mr. Blue, are you an Android Technomancer or something else?

Background:
Kendis Filzenthrarson, a.k.a Deathless, (Yes Filzenthrarson. No joke. His mother insisted. His mother, who deeply loved his father….I am getting side tracked. I’ll continue..) has had a pretty rough go of it all. Actually "rough go" really doesn’t do it justice. His life has been complete ****. (Yeah I censored. You may ask why intentionally censor if I could just pick another word and not waste all this time? One, stop asking questions and just let me tell this story and two, because such a word begins to explain the magnitude of what I speak. Where was I? Ah yes, I was getting to..) His father was the root of Kendis’ troubles in life. His father, (Guess what his name was…yup, you guessed it...) Filzenthrar, was an alchemist, an objectively good one at that. (Now, to be clear my use of “good” in this instance does not refer to his morality, but his skill, because moralistically speaking..) Filzenthrar was also evil as ****. Up until Kendis was 5ish he basically lived with his mother who loved him and his father more deeply than ever thought possible (But this is not a love story, so don’t get your hopes up!). On that 5ish years old day, Kendis was playing outside by himself, entertaining himself (As no one would play with an evil alchemist’s son. But seriously, I know some of you would say, “I’d play with him!” No you wouldn’t his dad is insane! And evil! Get off your high horse!..anyway..) as he usually did when he went to go find his mother. She wasn’t where she normally was in the house so he searched all over. She wasn’t anywhere to be found. Then he looked at his father’s lab at the top of the hill they lived on. The lights were on and a lot of lights could be seen, maybe his mom had gone there. (Let’s pause a moment. Did anyone think, “What?! His lab is on the top of the hill and the family home was at the bottom? There could be floods or something!” Yup! I dun told you he was evil) His mother had told him never to bother his father in there. (Actually, he was specifically told not to ever go in there) So (of course) he went in there. There were terrible smells, beakers, vials, tables, so many things. Before he saw much however, he heard a couple footsteps, a “Perfect, just what I needed.”, and immediately blacked out.
He finally awoke to the jolt of being carried over a shoulder as it seemed he was exiting the lab. He quickly looked back to see his father dead on the floor with several big gashes and a few burn marks. The lab was all messed up, and on fire. And a person sized mound of what looked like red meat on a table (Yep, that’s all your gonna get. You’re welcome). Looking at his captors he saw people he had only heard about in stories. These were adventurers! But they had killed his father! And, speaking of..where was his mother? So he asked. His question was not followed up by silence, per’se, just several rounds of wrenching. Maybe they were sick? Kendis got sick sometimes and it caused him to throw up. They must be sick. And one of them would cry whenever they looked at him. She wore some cloth robes that had the same symbol scattered everywhere on it. Kendis thought it looked silly but eh..They never did answer his question about his mother, quite adamantly actually. But they took him with them wherever they travelled. (I’mma stop here because there is so much more to tell, but I’ll leave that for another time…) Personality: A little continuation to the backstory…
So his personality is, as you’d expect of a person who gave a finger to all and thinks he can’t die. That being said, he has a great wit and a….’good?’ , albeit dark, sense of humor. Truly a great balance to a team full of “do good-ery, goody two-shoes wearing, justicy justicers”. |
