Once again I need a player. Real life is not my friend. We have a:
Druid Witch(hedge witch) Sorcerer What we don't have is anyone that is good with diplomacy, or a who can do the talking for the party at all really. Starting level would be 10 with 82000 gp... Now for the interesting part: The current situation: Sometime in the next few weeks my schedule at work may be changed, and if I have to work nights it will most likely end the game. Otherwise I will GM until completion so if you have ready made 10th level character this is a chance to use it. This is not me saying nobody is disallowed from making a new 10th level character. I just don't want anyone to be surprised if things don't go in my favor in real life. If you have any questions PM me. ![]()

Recruitment is open again. I need 1 player. There is no specific need so make what you want You will be level 9 with 58000 GP to spend. ![]()
![]() Recruitment is back open but due to a backlog of players, it is only for those who inboxed me last time I had the recruitment open. If nobody replies by Monday, I might reopen it for everyone. I will also be inboxing those that inboxed me, but if you see this before I inbox you, don't be shy. PS:I don't fudge too much to save characters, but so far nobody has died yet. I know some people hate character death so this is just a reminder. ![]()
![]() The men board the ship. One of the men, who is tall and slender with has sergeant stripes on his uniform steps forward to speak, but the professor cuts him off. The professor says "Nathan is it you with sergeant stripes?. I guess the world has forced many of us to grow up quickly. Well I am happy to see you." Nathan replies, "Yes it's me. I was hoping to have a reunion under better circumstances. My parents did not make it, and that is why I a member of the watch now. Many people would like to speak to you. It has been over 3 months since anyone new has arrived." He then pauses and address everyone. "All of you are invited inside. Only bring what you need for now. We will come back with a more sizeable force to unload the ship if needed later on today. For now we need to get all of you a place to stay, and a good meal." Assuming nobody objects, he leads all of you into the city, and separates the party and the professor from any of the NPC's, seemingly at his request. You are led to city hall, where it seems there are a few other men who are no strangers to battle. Eventually you find yourselves in a conference room, and are once again asked about your abilities, after you are fed. An elven man, who introduces himself as Lyolen, enters the room. He tells you that you are here to be asked if you want to help try to end whatever it is that is causing the dead to walk. If so you will be equipped, and given a variety of missions to choose from, but all are important. You are being given a choice, assuming you accept so that you may have the best chance of success. After he tries and fails to give you a pep talk and inspirational speech, he ask you "So men, are you ready to fight?" What you do get out of his the presentation is that he is a very intelligent, but socially challenged man. ![]()
![]() After everyone writes down their answers the bird takes the letter and returns to the city. About an hour later you see the gates of the city open, and 8 men in city guard uniforms cautiously exiting, obviously on the lookout for zombies. They signal approach the ship, and wait for you to allow them to enter. It is easy to see that they are anxious to board the ship. Do you allow them to board the ship? ![]()

![]() Basically what it does is allow the magic items to count as gold coins. As for Fatespinner's argument, it is true in a very optimized game, but for an AP as written AC still matters. I normally modify AP's so they are a littler tougher, which is what I will start doing with chapter 2. I have always liked to have AC=20+character level if I am a front liner, as a minimum. ![]()
![]() The game is already in progress. I am looking for 5th player that can be reliable. We play on roll.net which is a virtual table top every Monday from 900PM until 1AM EST. We try to be there by 845 to make sure we start by 9. Roll.net is very easy to learn and use, and it is constantly improving. The next game is tomorrow so the chances of making it are small, but the party is currently level 5 with 4 players. We have a:
Cleric Dwarven Fighter Sorcerer They are optimized pretty well. This is the GM's campaign guide that includes character creation rules and game rules.
d12=7
You will also start with 5000 gp. No more than 33% of that can be spent on any one item. Background stories are not mandatory, but they will help if I am on the fence about who to let in. I also roll the dice out in the open, and there is a very real possibility that your character might die. No far nobody has died yet though. :) ![]()
![]() The bird goes to De'oghe, landing on his forearm so it can get the bread, and releases its hold on the note. Then it moves to his shoulder. The Letter: The letter which reads more like an interview reads as follows: What are you intentions? Do you have anyone of importance on board? Is everyone free of infection? What skillsets are possessed by those onboard. You have one hour to get this back to us. Hopefully you did not kill the bird, since he is how we planned to get it back or you will have to find another way to deliver it. OOC info:

![]() You should have the mithral breastplate by level 10. The AP's are pretty generous with treasure, and I normally throw in a little extra from time to time. Another thing I am about to try to do is sell the nonmagical items at whatever their value is. Selling magical items at full value is also a new thing starting next week. Down Comforter if there are any summons you are partial to at level 5(summon monster 3) let me know. I will get them added into the game in advance. I am also about to get us a new link for the game. I will have it posted by this weekend. I also need for you to ![]()
![]() The party realizes the horn is using morse code. I am assuming you would find someone who can translate it The professor says that you are being ask to wait until morning before they open the gates. Next morning: A raven leaves the city and fly over to the ship carrying something in its claws. Everyone roll perception checks to see what its carrying: I don't know if I mentioned this before, but if you like I can roll the perception checks for you in cases like these to speed things up if you like. ![]()
![]() With all you trying to motivate the crew they are able to push the ship to its maximum speed. The monsters gives chase for a little while, but eventually backs turns away. The remainder of the trips is uneventful, and the crew is happy for that. You arrive at Absolom at night time, and find that a wall has been built around the perimeter. You here a series of noises from a horn. Anyone with ranks in profession sailor, can make a profession sailor check. Otherwise make an intelligence. There were no mounts ![]()
![]() Thanks for the DC.... :) Current situation:
We can run with whatever I might have by then or we can hold off until next Monday. Other than lack of prep time, I am ok to game now though. I would prefer to not run a 1 or 2 hour game, but I don't want to lose momentum either. I will check the site again around 730-8 pm. ![]()
![]() Sunday works for me all.
I have decided to handle sense motive by rolling for you secretly.
![]()
![]() I have not logged into the site for over a week I think, and I don't believe its fair to the group.
I am the GM for this one so I will give the group a vote. I can go to posting every other day until other things are cleared, and that may last for weeks, but I also understand if you wish to call the campaign. There will be no hard feelings either way. I will check in again in about 48 hours to see what everyone has to say.
