Vojtek asks Davosh to pay the quartermaster for the ring and the gloves. Vojtek isnt super clear on money or commerce. The wizardry of it all always puts him on edge the same way Davosh's strangeness does, so Davosh gets the task of conducting the barbarian's finances in Vojtek's view.
"Did dragon warlord Yurr-acks" Vojtek tries letting the the name tumble past his unfortunate wound of a mouth, "attack your village? Kill your people?" The keen interest he shows and the direct intensity of his inquiry would be unsettling to one who had not shared the sting of battle with the man. But Nevra had.
Vojtek asks as politely as he can for two things: First, a dragonkin ride, and second, a quartermaster to help provision the party (AKA I want to buy some magic stuff.) "That sounds far. Dragonkin, will you bear us? And we need supplies too."
DC 10 Perception: Vojtek looks like he has left nothing unsaid.
Vojtek nods at Davosh's hastily whispered instructions, and before the strange man's head withdraws from proximity to Vojtek's ear, the northman claps his hands twice. Once he has everyone's attention he inelegantly issues instructions to pack up and get ready to go. As he obeys Kappi asks, "Where are we going?" Vojtek shrugs and tilts his head toward Davosh with a look that indicates that with the Speaker to the Ancestors one can never quite know.
Vojtek quietly asks his little brother if perhaps now might be a good time to visit Commander Pharamol and to figure out a way to arrange things so that he offers us a two headed eagle in exchange for us doing all of the things. If Davosh overhears and spirits the group off in that direction, so much the better.
Once Vojtek recovers his breath and wipes a bit of the melange of dragonkin/human blood off of his face, he helps Kappi search for loot. He silently appraises the corpses while resting his palm thoughtfully on the pommel of his knife...
Vojtek narrows his eyes and urges his mount to climb as they head straight southeast towards the enemy.
Vojtek is way out of his element here, he doesn't have much experience riding creatures or talking to them either. "I am Vojtek, Clanless. I come from the land of the ice and snow. I have sworn to kill The White who killed my people on the tundra by the edge of the ice."
Vojtek tugs gently at Kappi's sleeve, and when he catches his eye, he inclines his head back to the fellow downstairs. It seems to Vojtek he won't be getting his armor fixed in this area. Vojtek backtracks. He stands quietly and looks for someone who looks like they could assist him.
Vojtek turns and mouths a question to Kappi about Egrets. Egrets? He seems to be on the verge of asking this being to fix his broken armor, but Davosh's Eye rolls once in his direction (Independent of the other eye, his attention, and the rest of his head) and with near tangible force shuts the barbarian's gob.
Vojtek wonders silently if repairing broken armor might be among her mysterious skills. He's not typically shy or modest, but he is glad she is blind because he's pretty sure his dragonballs are showing.
In a freezing puddle of sweat and blood, Vojtek heaves his breath in short gasps. He musters the strength for a shout of triumph at the news of victory. Upon regaining his breath, Vojtek heats Edward onto his shoulder and nods when he has found a comfortable way to balance the man and walk.
In the interbellum, Vojtek makes sure to gather up all the various weaponry he dropped. His exhaustion amd wounds resolve themselves with Edward's help, and the wiry man grins in excitement at the sou d of continued battle.
Vojtek sprints towards Kappi to try to get around the corner and offer the lad an opportunity to flank the foes. Ooc- Double move if someone could pog me I'd appreciate it
Vojtek ponders the strange reverie in which he finds himself slowly emerging. He feels rested, refreshed even. He looks around to get his bearings and squint his eyes with furrowed brow to clear the momentary confusion from his hazy thoughts. Where is he? What is he doing? He looks to his companions and it starts to come back to him...
"Nonetheless, I've an intense desire to pair with a dragonkin for deeply seated and deeply personal reasons. I feel a heartfelt link to the Blood of a Dragon, and a dragon is my sworn enemy as well. I can't think of a better way to face my enemy that with the help of a dragonkin. Let me tell.you of the Tundra at the edge of the ice..." Vojtek tells his tale of loss and woe.
Vojtek is fascinated by the discussion of partnerships and asks for more details on Dragonkin partnerships. Is it possible for him to partner with a one?
"And my axe!"
Vojtek follows his little brother closely, keeping his weapons stowed safely. He flexes his hands like claws, and builds himself almost into an enragified state. Move and prepare to rage.
Vojtek is almost frighteningly transfixed on the clear blue sky, with a longing to once again soar through his domain of the iron grey sky raining death and ice on the mortals below. These feelings stirring in his heart are powerful, and the physical manifestations the group had noted with growing concern start subtly pushing to the fore.
Vojtek nods agtmreement with Davosh, despite a modicum of confusion about the sheer scale of the structure before him. He feels disoriented, as though the perspective is off - surely this thing is closer than it is, looking as enormous as it is.
Vojtek is clearly in a heightened state of mostly non-sexual arousal with the friendly clime and the draconic goings-on. He's down with whatever.
Vojtek is extremely pleased with the change in climate, and breathes deeply of the cold air. He knows of the delicate nature of meeting a warrior such as this on the tundra by the edge of the ice. He lays his weapons down and steps away.
Vojtek's draconic is pretty limited since Edward's lessons seem to focus heavily on Apsu prayers and the like. But still it sort of sounded like Edward was saying draconic heart but that couldn't be right.... that wouldn't make any sense.
Vojtek nods and shrugs agreement.
Vojtek is totally baffled. Should they follow the strange person with a gem? Should he go up the steps to smell what Kappi smelled? Should he smash someone's brains in?
I feel like I'm asking whether or not I'm getting drunk yet from the other room, but I'm serious about setting up camp here and using our fallen foe as kindling.
"Let us camp here. I have some need to exact revenge on this creature." Vojtek starts to kindle a fire at the base of the treant, and looks to comfort his little brother with some dried meat.

Vojtek sits down with his chest heaving and glances around with little success.
Vojtek asks plainly, "Do we have to?". Discretion often being the better part of HP maintenance, if skipping is an option Vojtek supports the idea. Alas... it looks like from Kappi's description that there are doors and a portion of unmapped area that way. Vojtek tightens his grip on his massive blade and pads softly into position behind the lad. "I'm ready little brother." the barbarian whispers.

Vojtek nods and looks around for the next creature to kill. Moving on.......
Vojtek attempts to give Ed some AIDS: "The prison you were in... was it horrible? Perhaps we can hunt and slay the one who imprisoned you?"
Vojtek looks pointedly at Edward, waiting for some silver-tongued negotiation action. 9,000 GPs seems high...
Vojtek asks warily, "How much?"
Vojtek's draconic heart quickens with lust for the displayed trove, but his stoicism wins out. Davosh however is having none of it. The wiry and proud barbarian endures the Speaker-With-the-Ancestors' rough handling of Vojtek's hands and crude measurement of the circumference of his head with what could be interpreted as abject terror... Davosh suggests, "This young man needs a Headband of Havoc or perhaps a pair of Gauntlets of the Weaponmaster... Surely you could bring him those! Eh?" Davosh very nearly unleashes The Eye at the blue skinned outsider, so intense is that final 'Eh' and Vojtek visibly relaxes when Davosh's attention swivels away from his person.
Vojtek eyes the proceedings with a healthy skepticism. He makes a few gestures to Kappi that the lad can't seem to interpret, but correctly assumes are dismissive and generally negative.
Vojtek stays alert for any ill-tempered flora. He's quite sure this is yet another reason the tundra is far superior to this place.
Vojtek lays down on the ground, helpless to do much but heave in great gulps of air. Once he is ready, he follows his blood brother on the hunt.
Vojtek attempts to smash the hell out of the door as soon as he hears what he assumes is a call to arms from the ancestors.

Vojtek huffs and puffs with what appears to be small ice particles and snowflakes blowing out of his mouth among the water vapor steam. He asks to see the bag when he has caught his breath.
So the path goes out of sight, then loops back to where it started?
Vojtek eyes the grove suspiciously. He hates the odd closed-in feeling.
Vojtek joins his little brother.
Vojtek nods. He doesnt mind performing women's work occasionally, especially since Ali seems to be under the sway of the lunar influence today. He'd rather take no risks. He does his best to keep his own bloody rag clear of the ingredients.
Vojtek solemnly accepts the dagger, cuts his own flesh and clasps hands with Ratibor the Bold. Mixing blood in the way if the ancients signifies a bond of brotherhood, and Vojtek Clanless is deeply moved by the gesture. He scrubs the mixed blood off the blade with a bit of snow and wipes it clean with a rag. Upon handing it back to Ratibor, he nods silently, afraid the lump in his throat might betray his emotions if he tried to speak.
Vojtek is currently wearing a ring of protection +2, and an amulet of Natural Armor +1. I propose Vojtek takes the Amulet +2, gives his Amulet +1 to whoever wants it, and gives the Ring +2 to Kappi. Phil, let's make it so, and put it on our character sheets now... easy to undo later if someone objects, but even easier to totally forget and never put anything on.
