F Halfling Oracle 1
Vannah was content to trail quietly after Talas, meek enough. Her own glowing lights simply burst from a flick of her fingers - no sound required. She stayed behind the elf (since he seemed to want her there) and peeked around his legs as the group addressed the moving ... thing. Since she can't hear the converstion(?) She turned her eyes around to look at the wagon after a moment, trusting her companions to handle talking.
F Halfling Oracle 1
Vannah had been trudging along with the slow and steady dwarves easily enough, lost in her own world ... or something. It was a little hard to tell with Oracles sometimes. She peeks around the packs of the dwarves when they inevitably slow down, and spots the wheel. Then she darts forward to look at it, curious. Perceptin' (Sight): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Vannah scuttles about the edge of the group while Imperia tells her tales. She can't hear them anyway, but the halfling seems happy to be in the warm circle anyway. She has an eerie quality sometimes - she tends to stare without any acknowledgement that this might be odd and or rude. She's doing that now. Its hard to say how much of her speech Vannah gets from watching.
F Halfling Oracle 1
For the most part, Vannah keeps to herself, other than practicing sign with anyone who looks interested. For all she is small and apparently week looking, she is also adept at taking care of herself, for the most part. She keeps up with the well-laden dwarves, and handles her own bedroll. If she's at all bothered by the darkness of the tunnels, or the seemingly interminable trek farther and farther down underground, it doesn't show much.

Vannah transfers her hand over to Talas' easily enough, apparently having interpreted his greeting as an invitation to take over. She had no answer as to a name, but she did examine his face for a long moment before nodding gravely. She did smile at Baird though - she didn't have to hear to see his expression. She put a finger to her lips, universally 'shh'. Then she points at her feet, typically oversized and lightly furry. Light pours off of the fastening for his cloak, brightening up the room, perhaps so he can see it better. Somehow, she did that without speaking. Then she winks and her face resettles into emotionless.
F Halfling Oracle 1
Vannah came along with Drogic placidly enough. She didn't smile at the others when they emerged, and she seemed to find being led around by the hand as natural as breathing. She appears to have some understanding of how odd she must seem, making half an obscure gesture with her free hand and just stands a moment, staring blankly at each of them in awkward silence. Her annoyingly large doe eyes eventually land on Steelhymn and stay there, but she still doesn't say anything. |
