I am looking for a regular pathfinder game to play, ideally on a Tuesday or Thursday evening. I am in the Central time zone, so a start time around 7 or 8 pm central is perfect.

I am an experienced player, and I don't mind helping out new players or otherwise assisting the GM if needed.

I enjoy making characters to fit a group so while I have a few ideas floating around, I'd love to hear what you think your party is missing.

I'm open to playing just about anything but fair warning, I've played the first three books of Kingmaker and am currently DM'ing RotRL.

Hello all, this is my first thread so I hope this is the right place and all that.

I am playing a Divination Wizard in a Kingmaker campaign (focused on battle field control and utility). We just finished the first book. Because we are a large party (7+), the DM has scaled up fights, including the Stag Lord fight, and also scaled up our "phat loots".

She rolled random loot and up came a Ring of Spell Storing, Minor. I immediately thought about replacing my bound ring with this ring. However, the more I read about how that works and how the ring itself works, I'm not convinced this is a good idea.

Complicating this, is the fact that my character has fluff reasons to never wear anything around his neck, essentially meaning I am already down a magic item slot, and another slot for my bound ring. I am definitely planning to add other effects to the ring when I can at level 7+.

If I didn't bind to the MRoSS:

- I can share the ring with others in the party, allowing other folks to get access to nice personal buffs I can cast, like Mirror Image or Shield or whatever.
- both of my ring slots are used

If I do bind:
- one free ring slot for something new
- Can't share with other characters, though the DM has said I *could* still get other casters to load it with spells (like CLW or CMW maybe)
- will cost me 800GP or 1000 GP (I'm right on the edge of hitting level 5), this cost is not a big deal.
- baddies could not use the Spell Storing ring against us.

Party Makeup:
- Wizard, myself.
- Paladin / Sorcerer - the tank
- Cleric / Sorcerer - primary healer
- Druid - caster who mostly summons at the moment, also with animal companion meat shield
- Ranger (Spell-less version) / Druid (Wolf Shaman) - primary damage dealer, using a bow.
- Bard / Fighter - uses ranged attacks also
- Rogue / Fighter - Also using ranged
- Monk - currenly MIA, could be dead or gone forever (this player isn't playing anymore most likely, and the rest of the PC's have no clue where this PC went)

As you can see, I don't have any melee folks to give some of those great personal buffs to. The two pc's with sorcerer classes... I can just scribe them scrolls!

Any other things I am forgetting or not considering? Any advice you folks have about this decision is most appreciated.
