Thank you.

Is there a (preferably low level cleric) spell allowing someone to reshape a nonmagical weapon into another, similar weapon? Say, a longsword into a scimitar?

If this has been answered elsewhere, can someone shoot me a link? Also for any other Eldritch Scion fixes, FAQs, etc.

I've been looking, and can't find an answer (or even if it's been asked / clarified). Does the activation of one's bloodline power cost 1 or 2 Eldritch Pool points?

Under "Bloodline," it says"To use any ability that normally functions when he's in a bloodrage, an eldritch scion must spend 1 point from his eldritch pool." However, under "Eldritch Pool," it says, "As a swift action, he can spend 1 point of eldritch energy to enter a state of mystical focus for 2 rounds. This allows him to use abilities from his bloodrager bloodline as though he were in a bloodrage, though he gains none of the other benefits or drawbacks of bloodraging." So, do I spend a point to enter a Mystic Focus, then another on the next round to use a bloodline power (that can now only last for one round, because you can only spend one point per round)? Or is the phrasing referring to the same Eldritch Pool point?

I really, really want to like the Eldritch Scion. But it's so poorly written. I almost feel as though it would have been better done as a variant class (a la Samurai or Ninja) that mixes Fighter and Sorceror, rather than Fighter and Wizard, than as an archetype.

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

I was looking over the Eldritch Scion, and saw it doesn't have Eschew Materials. Both Sorceror and Bloodrager - the classes it gets the bloodlines/inspiration from - grant this feat, so it would seem that thematically Eldritch Scion should, too.

Granted, having a spell component pouch pretty much covers it, and is an easy fix, plus a lot of GMs don't even bother with material components rules unless it's the big stuff, but it still seems an odd omission.

Why was it omitted, or is that just an oversight?

Hey all -

I know this is probably a dead post by now, but I figured I'd reply to it anyway. As a (very!) new member of the Pathfinder Society Organized Play community, I too was poking around for a form-fillable PDF of the PFS Character Sheet.

I never ran across one that I particularly liked, so I just took the Sheet out of the back of the PFS Guide and made one myself using Acrobat.

It's non-calc (you'll have to do all the math for yourself) but completely form-fillable.

I don't have anywhere to post it, really. But if anyone would be interested in a copy, just hit me up in a PM or something and I'll see towards getting you one.

Cheers!

I'd love a copy, actually. You can email me at tumakhunter (at) gmail

Monk. Speed increase sets off racial penalty, Racial Dex bonus and underfoot fighting focused feats make for a good maneuver user.

Dual class with Bard for a capoira mestre.

Found this thread just now while looking for conversion ideas on the Channelers. Liking where this seems to be going, though I haven't checked any of the links yet. Thought I'd give the thread a Bump.

It's not exactly the most faithful conversion of Spelljammer from the original 2e setting. On the other hand, I think that its a good start upon which to build further.

Honestly, that it's not a completely faithful adaption is its strongest point IMHO. While I loved the basic idea of wooden ships in space, I despised the entire Ptolemaic crystal spheres thing. It really had me pounding my head against the wall.

Reducing things to a single solar system and bringing things back to Newton vastly improves the setting.

I always thought of the Phlogiston as being akin to Hyperspace, as used in most sci-fi settings. Having the shell around a system was just a means of dividing the systems.

Wow, what a big thread. I haven't flipped through it all, but I thought I'd add my name to the list, if you don't mind sending it. I want to use it to introduce my daughter and some of her friends to the game, and though this would be a great break in module. :D

Anyway, I'm tumakhunter (at) gmail, and thank you very much, for this and for your work on it.

Other good examples are Paksennarion from "The Deed of Paksennarion" by Elizabeth Moon. Superman (classic, not New 52), & Captain America.

The Green Lantern Corps by DC comics always reminded me of an Order as well.

(Now I want to play a Paladin who acts like Guy Gardner).
