What was the second question you had? Is it your point about the Chronicle Sheet? If so maybe this will help. I read through the PF Society guide and it detailed what those sections of the Chronicle Sheet are for. Conditions Gained refers to any condition the PC may have been afflicted with during the adventure that has not been resolved by the end. The condition would be noted in the section. Conditions Cleared refers to when the PC gets a previous condition taken care of. For reference I found this on page 27 of the Guid to Pathfinder Society Organized Play.

$9.99 for the pdf in August is amazing. I'll probably buy the print edition, but I can easily promote Pathfinder as an option for my friends to try with such a great price. It very well might be able to help you generate interest as well.
The best recommendation I have for people in our region is to join the Yahoo Group PFNE: Pathfinder New England. It is where most of my friends that play coordinate games. Also, I know quite a few of us plan on running Pathfinder adventures in every slot possible at OGC (Open Gaming Convention) in New Hampshire July 24-26th. -John
Just about everyone I play with enjoys taking a turn at running an adventure, so we have been able to have an excellent rotation allowing for us to keep pace in leveling. Through the first 18 adventures most of us have eaten 2 and missed one or two along the way. I have no interest in getting xp, gold or item access for adventures my character has not played. It just seems like an odd concept to get a record sheet for an adventure a character of mine did not go through. Doesn't that mean you could end up with a character that has never actually played be level capped? I would prefer some sort of reward that translats to a discount on Pathfinder materials. That would give more incentive to report your tables asap and could sway members to buy more Pathfinder stuff.
I'm glad this post got bumped. I've been meaning to come back here and see if we could drum up some Pathfinder action! I'm part of the group that plays in Franklin (and sometimes Bridgewater, MA and Boston). We can usually count on having one solid table. My goal would be to get a few more players interested in the area so we can have more options/availability for more tables to run. We use a Yahoo Group (PFNE)for organizing games. I believe we might be playing 17 and 18 next weekend. We also have a couple of players wanting to play 15 and 16 at some point. -John
I ran this adventure over the weekend, so I read your assessment of it with certain questions in my mind. The main one being 'how long did this adventure take to run?' Then I realized you didn't do Act 3. It is like a mini-module within the adventure! And if you were to run it I'm sure you would have even more comments. For instance - Tier 3/4 has a polar bear in the lair. I'm just not sure how it would get there. I struggled to find a reason Enkendu would want the party to clean out his lair of the creatures within. As if he couldn't take care of them himself. That being said, I do think my group enjoyed the very challenging encounters at Tier 6/7. They did a great job improvising and using anything and everything they could find to help them. For me, this took over 5 hours to run and even then it was rushed.
I haven't had to report tables yet for my group (others have taken care of it). If I remember correctly reporting wasn't available at the beginning right? My guess is people played those first ones without worrying about reporting them. Habits are hard to change. After seeing this topic I decided to check my reported tables. All reported except the last two, so I've inquired on my gaming groups message board about who needs to report them. Just knowing this is being looked at I will be sure to gather the necessary information to report 15 and 16 when we play them this weekend. After that perhaps I will have some suggestions.

TotalCon will be a great place to get up to date with the mods. I believe we will be offering most if not all the adventures available. |
