Is there a two handed weapon in the game that helps with sundering? Ive got a lv3 2handed fighter and want too start sundering weapons and armor too help out our three man squad.

I have started my twf titan mauler barbarian that is going too dual wield greatswords, or maybe elven curved blades, and was just wondering, can you sunder with one attack and attack normal with the other hand?

how about the Swordlord archtype, kind of like a lone walking duelist?

ty flapjack
i was also thinking of a possible sword and board as well, with a tower shield mastery or something. lol. Would be rather interesting.

ty for the unhelpful criticism

assuming a 20 point buy system, would start off like this;
Lv 1 Titan Mauler
str 20
dex 15
con 10
int 10
wis 10
cha 7

Feats
1)TWF, Weapon Focus:Greatsword, Big Game Hunter
2)Jotungrip, Reckless Abandon Rage power
3)Dip into TWF Fighter (Double Slice as bonus Feat), Power Attack
4)Point into Str, and Weapon Focus:Greatsword for bonus feat
This is just some, atm, the reason i cannot do more is that i dont have a full herolab too go through it all, and too confusing too jump pages and back too basic herolab too see what im doing. lol. But this is just a small sample of my idea.

checked it out, a two weapon ranger would take forever too get too be useful with two great swords. For feat purposes, i still think the two weapon fighter would be the best choice. Also, be a human too get the extra starting feat doesnt hurt either.

not a bad idea

I was just sitting around tonight and playing some council of thieves, and was thinking, is it plausible too make a titan mauler/two weapon fighter and still be decent? I was thinking too just titan mauler 2/twf X, too use greatswords in one hand and such? Tell me what you think.

Hey guys and gals, just assuming, but i have been thinking of how fun it would be too have a rogue that has both the minor and major magic rogue skill. Idk if its effective, but i just find it fun too do a sneak attack with a shocking grasp or touch of fatigue. Nothing beats doing 10d6 on a target. lol. Any ideas would be appreciated, and if you think its dumb w/o going too arcane trickster prestige class, its understandable, just an idea i was thinking of.

Just want too ask, does it mean i can stealth even while being observed w/o the -20 too the roll?

You know, i keep seeing posts about people having problem with loot that drops, ie armor and weapons. For as long as ive played PFS, our play group has agreed, if its better than what u have or will help better, then just take it, we dont worry about reimbursing the rest of the group because things like scrolls and potions, we keep the gold as a party treasury, so when someone needs something, we just go out and buy it for them as a party. Maybe we just dont have the ego problem the rest of u have. lol. Prob because we're canadians. =P

personally, i always wanted too give a damage based pally a vicious weapon so he can lay on hands as a swift action too counter effect the sue of the weapon. lol.

really? We did the full carrion crown, and the best our group had for gold worth of gear was just under 200k, how do you get too 880k?

actually, since hes a knife master, its d8+12, and thank you for agile. I nvr see it in my friends hero lab, so i was wondering what it exactly did.

checking out your sheet, how do you get the extra +7 damage if using your kukri? Is it +5 enhancement bonus or from somewhere else? Also, that is A LOT of gold, ive nvr had that much when i played ever. lol. Though it is a very nice setup.

I was at work the other day and remembered how broken my friends Arcane Trickster was when we did Carrion Crown, and was thinking, is making a rogue/Magus kensai/arcane trickster feasible or just over thinking the situation. Was thinking of making it the dex based kensai and use dervish dance with a scimitar too get the dex too damage as well as atk and allow too use the scimitar with my rogue as precision damage and get it either keened or take improved crit so all scimitars i find are double crit rate.

I was invited too join in my friends already going Council of Thieves campaign, and was leaning towards arcane duelist. I was just looking over the archtype and was thinking, what would be better, get jotungrip via two lvs of titan mauler too use greatsword, or go full dex with dervish dance too add dex too the extra damage?

i wasnt planning on using much rage skills, mostly just too get massive weapon more than anything. Idk if i was reading right that i could duel wield 2 large weapons or not. lol. And yes, i would have too ask the gm if he would allow oversized weapons or not.

Just a question about the ability Hide in Plain Site, does that mean that i still get the -20 too my stealth, or does it ignore that?

Yes, for Jotungrip and Massive Weapon, nothing like a bard spinning around his foes duel wielding 2 Large greatswords. lol.

as far as i know, core, advance, uc, um for books, so no advance race nor anything else.

As for the proficiency, i would get it via the barbarian lvls.

My playgroup has a game suspended atm but are thinking of restarting it and have invited me too join them. So here is an idea im thinking of and need your input too see if possible.

lv 2 Titan Mauler
lv 7 Dervish Dancer

Would be interesting that a bard wield a 2h greatsword spinning around everyone chopping them too bits. lol.

our group nvr had a problem like this, we just gave out weapons and such too those who could use them, and just split the proceeds of all the mundane/unwanted items gold after we sell it all. No one ever felt out of place when someone got a kick ass weapon like Suishen.

I was looking over the posts and came across a link too a page that had all the subclasses of each main class, like the rogue pirate and such, just asking if someone could link it here pls.

Huh, thats an interesting combination, plus they both work off of wisdom, so dont really lose anything. "chuckles"

all right
=(

Just thought i would ask, since its right in the description, that the spell ONLY effects clubs or quarter staves, but can it also effect a scimitar that is made from ironwood?

where is the guide too the Aldori sword master, and since my GM is going too allow me too remake this toon before we play again, i will be able too take the archetype.

I currently have a lv 5 fighter that im going too remake into a duelist, just want too know which path would be the better of the two. I was either thinking of taking scimitar and dervish dance too get the dex damage or should i take sword scion and take the feats too get the Aldori dueling mastery feat? The Aldori dueling feat will add +2 ac while wielding a Aldori Dueling sword in one hand, so it acts as if i had a shield, and adds too my initiative, and before anyone asks, he will be the main tank, so personally, im not worried about damage output atm, because i know it will increase as my duelist lv does.

just thought i would ask, since the spell says it is wielded like a scimitar, so could i use it via Dervish Dance?

ty all for the responses, will look it up and work on it some more. You all have a good day/evening/night.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

My playgroup keeps telling me that the prestige class is no good, though i keep using my basic form of HL to make one, and as far as im concerned, its a great tank class with mediocre damage output, but the main effect is too defend like crazy via parry and repose as well as a great initiative. The one i keep making takes the Aldori Dueling mastery feat too get the bonuses and have some pretty decent AC. Just wondering which class and race would make the best. I read it and says rogue, bard or ranger are best, though i keep making a fighter and seems too do better than most since i can reach it a full lv faster. Just looking for your ideas/suggestions. TY in advance.

We are doing a curse campaign and got upto someone getting Serithtial (if you dont want too know what it does, stop reading here).

We decided too give it too one of our rogues, but it says Serithtial changes into what ever the wielders preferred weapon of choice is, but when he did, it did not change from the stats that a common bastard sword, nor does it allow him too use his weapon finesse with it. Any suggestions on how too change that, or do we just use the stats of a +4 holy Kuthite bane dagger?

Yeah, we always did it that every flank/surprise attack gets sneak, that is how we took out a demi litch before he got a chance too take an action, i am a blademaster rogue and he is an arcane trickster, did 140+ damage AFTER his DR. "chuckles" Our oracle healer/summoner (he took summon monsters while he was not healing, which oddly enough with two melee roguish that he is NOT healing us), was kind of put off because he did not even get a chance too act.

we were discussing that i would not get my sneak damage when 30ft or less away, so by Mr. Shadows explanation, i still would get my sneak damage in that case.

its not the range problem, but if ra's actually apply sneak damage as long as the target is within 30ft.

guess i would have too look up the sniper subclass for rogues too see if there is something in there that bypasses that rule, or there would be no reason as a rogue you would ever take a ra weapon.

tyvm
i see that a rogue has no reason too have a ra weapon for that then.

then why is there a sniper upgrade for rogues if they do not add sneak damage too ra's? I read and reread the core and it is a separate sentence, "Range attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30ft." Then having a ra rogue would be useless.

Our play group has been arguing that the sneak attack bonus does not go with a ra from rogues/ninjas, is that true or do i still get it as long as the target is within 30ft for the attack?
