One of my players created this spell and showed me it. I think that following the guidelines in the ultimate magic book, the construction is ok but i want an advice from other gamers before give my approval.
So give me your opinion^^

FROST GRAPPLING VINES
School conjuration (creation); Level sorcerer/wizard 5, Magus 5, Summoner 4, Witch 5
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, M (A little vial of cold rime)
Range medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Area 20-ft.-radius spread
Duration 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: none; Spell Resistance: no
This spell causes a field of crystal ice vines to appear, burrowing up from the floor and reaching for any creature in the area.
The effect is the same of the black tentacles spell but the targets take an additional +1d6 of cold damage.
The vines created by this spell cannot be damaged, but they can be dispelled as normal. The entire area of effect is considered difficult terrain while the vines last.


One of my players wanted to create an eidolon using an huge hammer.
So he asked me if he can take the slam attack to simulate the hammer using the normal rules for the natural attacks (and taking the improved attack evolution too to maximize the damage). I thinked that was better the use of the weapon evolutiuon. But eventually i begin to find the idea interesting, expecially because in this way he can summon the ediolon with the hammmer wqitout equipping him (and without using house rules).
what did you think of this? Can a summoner visualize the form of the eidolon in this way simulating the hammer with the slam attack?


I'have seen that mighty summons work on all summon spells.
So i wamnt to ask if using the summon eidolon spell the summoner can add the agility or savage template to his eidolon.


I have seen a lot oif the player companion produced by paizo and i have noted that in these books there is a lot of new options for the basic classes but the advance classes take poor credit.
I have seen probably only one companion with new options for summoner( if my memory not fail), don't remember companions worth for gunslingers and
alchemist.
What do you think, we will see them in the future'


One of my players want to craft a particular magic weapon with the follow specifics:

The weapon is a cestus +1 that cover all the arm.
Into the cestus there are 3 slot that can set up to 3 metamagic empower gems (rival guide pathfinder).
When the pg use the feat arcane blast, he can channel the power of the metagic gem into the magic matrix of the cestus (destroyng 1 gem for use) for empower the arcane blast.

Stating this, what type of crafting feats and craft check must give to the pg to create this item?
And do you think is not equilibrated as a weapon?


Reading the innersea magic book i have been fascinated by the idea of the magic academies, especially the acadamae school.
I have only one question, can a summoner use the awards of the acadamae?


I'm not sure wich type of action nrequires the Maker's call and transposition special abilities of the summoner.
Can someone explain me this?


One summoner in my adventure, wanted to create a thematic eidolon like Shiva of final fantasy (an ice manipulator like).So asked me if is possible to change a little the spells on the list of the major magic evolution adding some ice or water offensive spell taken from 3rd party books like Super genius guide to ice magic.

What do you think of this?
i didn't see the problem if the level of the magic is the same (3rd level)

Sorry for the silly question, but i want to know if i can create a weapon or an armor with spell like abilities or abilities boost.
Reading the book is laike you can only bost the bonus attack and damage and add the special qualities descrided.
And if it sisn't possible , cannot i use a combination of feats like craft artms and weapons and crefts wondrous items to obtain it?


I taked the edioln unbound book and i finded the idea of the talent Summoner's managerie really interesting.
The only thing is ythat i see this talent too much powerful with the specific showed. I'm thinking to polish it assigning 2 or 3 talent needed as requirments.
What do you think must be the better choices?
