![]() Well, it is a pretty small sample size. But let's see: Faust 1d1000 ⇒ 208
Arena 1: Meng vs Llyr
Is that better? I like how I'm always in the bottom, haha. ![]()
![]() Faust
Ok, that was enough time. Here goes: Faust 1d1000 ⇒ 22
So that means-- Arena 1 Sariras Greenscale vs Meng Ren Rui
Good luck! ![]()
![]() 2 highest face each other, then next 2 highest, etc. Basha 1d1000 ⇒ 806
Gnasher, I left you out for this round since I don't have a build from you yet, but you're the next in. So the matchups are: Arena 1: Olwyn vs Meng Arena 2: Ripley vs BASHA Arena 3: Boe vs Llyr Arena 4: Honorable Apprentice vs Sariras Arena 5: Durgrosh vs Faust Good luck all! ![]()
![]() I think we should require a minimum of 4 combatants at a Level to allow fights. Otherwise Shigeharu and Jezebel will fight each other every time, which is kinda lame IMO. I also want to do an equipment change (have wanted to for a long time), but there's really no hurry for it until we get more Level 5 fighters. Also, did you give Jezebel VP for the 3-way match? I thought it was an exhibition. If it counts, I need to give Arian 1 VP for the loss. ![]()
![]() Though it's moot, I just wanted to point out for future reference that a coup de grace doesn't work that way. It's a full-round action for a single attack, which auto-crits (and adds sneak attack damage). If the target survives, they need a FS with a DC = the damage plus 10. Coup de grace rules:
Coup de Grace
As a full-round action, you can use a melee weapon to deliver a coup de grace (pronounced "coo day grahs") to a helpless opponent. You can also use a bow or crossbow, provided you are adjacent to the target. You automatically hit and score a critical hit. If the defender survives the damage, he must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + damage dealt) or die. A rogue also gets her extra sneak attack damage against a helpless opponent when delivering a coup de grace. Regardless... VICTORY TO OLYWYN! WELL FOUGHT! ![]()
![]() Ok, since we're at an odd number I'll drop Durgrosh. I'm just going to assign everyone a d1000 and the highest 2 face each other in Arena 1, next two in Arena 2, etc. Sleet Storm:
Did you swap out a trat for BASHA? The society traits are not allowed. Please let me know before posting initiative in your matchup. Thanks! Level 3's Stonefist Heavyhand 1d1000 ⇒ 786 Meng Ren Rui 1d1000 ⇒ 589 BASHA 1d1000 ⇒ 224 Honorable Apprentice 1d1000 ⇒ 980 Faust 1d1000 ⇒ 195 Sariras Greenscale 1d1000 ⇒ 488 That means: Arena 1--Honorable Apprentice vs Stonefist Arena 2--Meng Ren Rui vs Sariras Greenscale Arena 3--BASHA vs Faust Good luck everyone! ![]()

"BASHA" wrote: I'm for starting the next round with the contestants we have.Any late arrivals can be pitted against each other. Well, it's more fair for randomization if the random roll happens when all people have checked it. We're at 7/10. I'll wait another 12-15 hours or so to see if we can get 3 more, then I'll do the matchups. Anyone who arrives after that time can still do challenge matches, though we might need to make a couple more arenas. We'll see. ![]()
![]() Since we’re still low on Level 4’s, I’ll just keep the level 4 three way battle going in Arena 6 and that’ll do it for Level 4 characters for now. That leaves 10 open slots for Level 3’s. We still need a few more. Choon, do you have a Level 3 guy? Level 3s so far: Durgrosh Blacksun—(Do you want in on this round, Immortal?) Stonefist Heavyhand Meng Ren Rui BASHA Honorable Apprentice Faust ![]()
![]() Sure thing--Just go to the campaign info tab, click the spoiler for "creating a character", and that tells you all of the guidelines for character creation. Within that long spoiler, go to the section called "character submissions" (I think) and there is a link to the character template. When you have the character created correctly in that template, PM it to me and/or Immortal and when it's checked out you can participate in the next round of randomizations. ![]()
![]() Hello everyone, and welcome aboard! This is really fun when games are rolling, so hopefully we can get things ip and running soon. As for formatting, I would recommend that people read past matches to check out how things run. One thing, Immortal--the VP totals are off. It should just be 9 to reach every level. So 9 VP gets you to level 4, 18 gets you to level 5, etc. This way you can just keep a run if total of VP by tracking a character's overall W/L record and not have to reset at every level.0 ![]()

(evil laughter...) Samurai Jack's just an environmentalist, I get it, hehe. You might want to PM Napju if you haven't already, see if he's ready to get into the fray. ![]()
![]() Samourai Jack didn't know his match was up, I just Pmed him so he should be good to go. Also, for "teh n00bz", hehe, here's a post I just made in Pit One but it'll help anyone who needs to know how to format: Napju, click the button that says "show" next to "how to format your text" just below the post box. It will show you how to make ooc tags, like I used for this post, and spoiler tags. You can put your rolls in spoilers for the arbiters, and post the results in ooc for your opponent. I'll post an example in this post. Also, Samourai Jack didn't know your match was up, so he should be here soon. For ooc tags, type exactly what I'm typing below, but take out the "Xs" in the brackets. [oocx] This will turn blue [/oocx] For spoilers, do it like this, but again, take out the Xs. [xspoiler=Arbiter] This text will appear in spoiler tags. [/spoilerx] So you would do this... Then say--my Init was a 24. Yours? Etc, etc. Arbiter:
Initiative 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13 Good luck to you both! ![]()

![]() Yep, all sheets updated on google docs. Samourai Jack is in, Napju is in, Kaira is in, all Level 3. Bruno is up at Level 4--just needed an HP correction, which I PMed him. Eben, that would be great if you could setup Immortal on the Google Docs too. A couple things as matches start: 1) The VP system on the campaign info tab is wrong. You get 3 points for a win, 2 for a tie (should be rare), 1 for a loss, and 0 for a forfeit/loss due to inactivity. Every 9 VP you get, you advance a level. So keep track of your W/L record on your profile to make it easier for everyone. 2) The alphabetically first character starts at the top of the map, other person at the bottom. I have to check exact squares. 3) The match starts with a surprise round in which both characters are aware of the other. In the surprise round, or round 0, you get a 5 ft step, a swift action, and either a move or standard action. See previous matches for any sample posts. Good luck everyone! Immortal, I'd just do you and Bruno as the Level 4 match for now, to give Sleet Storm time to get BASHA's stats, unless Eben's return means Rolg is back. Rolg, you back? ![]()
![]() Kaira is approved and, with one minor clarification, ready. I just need to look over Bruno's sheet, but I assume it'll be fine. Sleet Storm--I believe you sent BASHA and Sleepy Pete to Jehova. Can you check your sent PMs? The only one I have is Morskitter. Imimtrl--do you want to arbitrate? Choon, how about you? Perhaps we can setup the matches today and get this thing rolling. ![]()

![]() A few things, for anyone interested: At level 3 you get 4,500 gp. 10% of that can be consumables, but only half of your consumable budget will be reimbursed each fight. So, for example, you can have 450 gp worth of consumables (to prepare for different situations). But only 225 gp will be reimbursed after a fight. So if you use 300 gp of potions in one fight, you went over by 75 gp, so your overall wealth is now lowered to 4,425 gp. G If you have any questions, feel free to post them here. I guarantee other people will have the same questions you do ;-) Please put your character submissions in this format: It's a lot easier to audit when it's all the same format for everyone. Format: Shigeharu
Total Points: 18 (18 magus (2 base + 3 int + 1 human) x3 levels)
Total Equipment Cost: 4,484 gp 6 sp 1 cp
