Some of my houserules:

1)O-level damaging spells deal 2 dice sizes higher damage than is listed. (IE a 1d3 would be 1d6). 1-level spells would deal 1 dice size higher damage than is listed. (IE a 1d4 would be 1d6) This is because low level magic is crap. 5e makes cantrips and 1st level spells viable, and I really like the idea. I'm curious to see how it plays out in PF. It doesn't seem unreasonable that a level 1 mage can deal 1d6 a round with his Ray of Frost, every round.

I could see this scaling with power level. So right out of the gate the spells deal RAW damage, but as the character increases in level and skill his lower level spells also become more powerful and deadly. I'll have to play around with the idea and see how it might fit.

I'm getting a crash on startup with CharacterForge (which probably ought to have it's own thread here now that it's seperated as a project)

Despite the error on startup, the bits and pieces of the interface that I've been able to play with are GREAT. It's a much welcome step up from the old excel sheet. Less lag, less scrolling, more vibrant information (when selecting character archetypes, having ineligible ones go red is awesome)

Unfortunately due to the error on load (which has already been documented on the Sourceforge page) I'm unable to really get a full sense of how the whole system works together since only the first 3 tabs load information, and even those tabs are messed up.

I know how much I love sCoreForge, so if this new option is anything REMOTELY close to that level of detail I'll be happy with it!

We are playing the AP at a bit higher level, with all the main NPCs being adjusted up (I think Plugg was 7th level instead of 5th when we finally broke his face open) but he went face-to-face with our main damage dealer who was cavalier 3/monk 1. Plugg went in to attack, Monk took an immediate action to trip and punch him a few times on the way to the ground, then because the cavalier had been delaying his action took a full round of stabbing away at him dealing somewhere in the vicinity of 100 dmg.

Plugg's lowest minion lasted longer than he did in the fight.
